Been to this location a few times. Today, I wanted to relax, eat, and watch a movie on my phone. Not possible. The music is up so loud I couldn't even have a conversation with someone much less watch something, with my headphones of course, on my phone. As I sat waiting for me to go order I saw her fill what I can assume is pickup orders. They just sit on the counter getting cold. Overall I was disappointed with the service and atmosphere. The food was ok, but I do not recommend getting things to-go because it just does not travel well. Did not knock it out of the Park. That pun had more fun than I did at Park Burger. I don't enjoy the days when food disappoints my tastes buds. Compliments first, clean pretty clean establishment when one initially walks in. Their handmade veggie burger was very good with the right amount of flavor and moisture. Sad portion of this adventure: - Truffle and Parmesan Fries: They were super dry with very little flavor. The fries had very little to no salt to help bring the truffle and parmesan flavors come to surface. Granted a good truffle oil would have a pungent taste on it's own. But, I can not get over the fact the fries were dry. As well as a mixed serving of some fries being a decent temperature and the other ones were under cooked. Although, it did stop me from over indulging in unnecessary carbs. - Old onion scent: Upon walking-in the establishment you are welcomed by "not so fresh" onion scent. I may be a little more sensitive because of my sensitive nose (the better to sniff wines and whiskies). Overall tastes: Husband stated the croque burger was good but has had more memorable burgers. I just would not bring any out of state guests to Park Burger. It did represent Denver's Top Culinary tastes experiences. I love park burger! They are serving the best burgers and fries in all of Denver. When I have a burger craving this is where I go and you can not beat truffle fries. First things first, so happy to have an establishment like this near home! Beats getting subway! We have been to Park Burger twice now, once for pick up and the other sit down. I'll be reviewing both. The cool thing about Park Burger is that while it's a burger joint, there is something for everyone! They have turkey, bison and veggie patties for non beef eaters. They also have an ahi tuna burger! My boyfriend and I had the bison burgers to go and my cousin had a regular beef patty. You can add all kinds of things (including a fried egg, praise yeezus) to your burger. I opted for mushrooms, cheese and haystack onions. Our to-go food, even with it being to go, was AMAZING. We tried their fries and they were delicious. The buns are great and big enough for the very large burgers they make. Be prepared to hit a wall. Dining in was a different experience, it wasn't an overly busy night there were lots of open tables. We were quickly seated and had our drink orders taken, but something was off about our server. He looked like he was still fired up about something and was generally pretty abrasive and rude to the table. My cousin asked for some sauce and his reaction was not only one that insulted her, but he never brought it and we had to ask someone else. He seemed frustrated that no one wanted to drink, but when you passive aggressively ask if we want anything the likely response is no...either way, maybe he was just having a bad day. This place is far from my home (Hilltop location) but I try to stop anytime I am in the area and occasionally will make a trip just to go there. The burgers are amazing and the Truffle-Parmesan finish off the meal. They give you large portion of fries so get the small unless you have a large crew that is sharing. My favorite burger is the Royale as the burger is very flavorful and fresh and more than enough at 1/3 lb. I have always had wonderful servers even on the busy summer nights. Service is prompt and accurate. The prices are reasonable. They are professional yet friendly and act like they are glad to see you. The home made lemonade is also delicious. Hoping to save room for one of their shakes on the next visit. Last thing is the atmosphere is fun and lively, love the Hilltop community vibe. read more

I love this place! I have taken my mentee here for lunches, family here when they're visiting from out of town, and sat at the counter solo. I love everything about this place; from the food, to the staff, to the restaurant itself. It's located in my neighborhood and it's a great local spot. The burgers and fries are always fresh/made to order and, although it's known for its burgers, I enjoy the Ahi burger too! (They also have strangely delicious salads for a burger joint!). Are you really going to deny costumers your food? The ones who drive specifically to your location and walk into your restaurant to make a to-go order? Just because you are too busy to handle the volume that your restaurant is accommodated for (I counted 13 empty bar chairs when I walked in) doesn't mean you should be turning customers away. What kind of a business is that? If anything, you should be offering them at least some water while they wait the extra time for their food. Also, hire more people (like a busser or a second hostess) if you can't handle the volume that your restaurant is clearly accommodated for. Update: I ordered food, paid $14 for it, and then was kicked out of my chair at the bar because they couldn't clean tables fast enough. This is just poor management. Hire more people! Your staff are clearly overloaded. Second update: just saw a couple families leave because your one hostess was too busy bussing tables to greet them. You now have 19 empty chairs but no one to fill them because they all left. Third update: Park Burger didn't follow through with their response. read more

its the concept that I like about this place that makes me come back again and again to this location or other Park Burger locations. today's visit, the hostess asked us for outside or inside.. and opted for inside.. and next option was high top or table.. and opted for the table.. and as soon as we sat down, knew why all the options and I did appreciate her effort. it was filled with lot of toddler age kids surrounding us. they were well behaved kids but still very loud. I would loved to bring my own and let them enjoy the surrounding and all the great kids menu options they have. its easy to find a place to park and walk short distance. just watch out for cars while crossing Holly street. They also have creamery and coffee shop nearby which is great combo activity after the meal. I love their fresh, simple, lots of different choices. not to mention happy hour specials (one of these days I will make it here on time) and royal to Colorado micro breweries! only gripe I have is their buns.. its falls apart while trying to eat the burger. is it too soft? too dry ? definitely not chewy but don't like it when they crumble apart while trying to enjoy it. When we walked in we stood waiting for several minutes before some young boy who was stocking asked us if we had been helped. When we informed him no he took us to a table and got us water. About 10 minutes later no one had come so we asked the young boy stocking if someone would take our order. The manager came over said that our waiter was on break took our order and then disappeared never to return again. we ran out of beverages and I had to go to the front to pay because no one ever serviced our table. Our waiter was fully knowledgeable about the menu, very friendly and helpful, and was extremely attentive throughout our meal. Oh, man. I had been wanting to try Park Burger for about a year and a half! I first found it when I drove by on a sunny August day, and the huge windows and cute decor looked so enticing from the outside! We went on a Friday night just before 6 pm and were able to find two seats at the bar (there was a ~15-25 minute wait for a table). There were TVs showing various sports games, and a long list of beers on happy hour until 6 pm ($3 each!!). We ordered the El Cheluna burger and the Get Figgy Wit It burger, as well as a basket of fries (half Cajun, half truffle Parmesan). The burgers were fantastic and had really fresh ingredients! The Cajun fries were our favorite of the basket. The service was fast and the bartender was really attentive and fun to talk to. I'd definitely eat here again! read more

The place is teeming with screaming kids that make it difficult to have a conversation, much less enjoy your food. Yes, I went there. Kids are cute. It's been a while since I have been to Park Burger but I need to get it back in the rotation! If you are trying to do the low carb deal, for 50 cents more, you basically get your burger served on top of a whole salad, not just a few leaves of greens! I thought this was an awesome value! I went with the classic double, and I was so full! Even if you arent doing low carb, take the burger off and put it on a plate, and you have a 50 cent salad. Score! The kids meals are also great: they get a slider, fries, veggies, and a small soft serve cone. My kids loved the extra surprise at the end! The meat is flavorful and this place knows how to grill a burger. If you want wings, they got those. If you want to watch the game, they have tons of TVs. If you want to bring whole fam, they have high chairs and kids menus and a full bar for the parents (if you know what I mean :) ) . I will be sure to be back soon! read more

The smell of grease on the patio is a definite turn-off! This evening was only my 2nd time to Park Burger in the last three years and I'm on the fence if I'd ever have the desire to come back. I've lived in the neighborhood for 22 years and have driven past the establishment for years. Honestly my impression of this place (as a passer by) is that it's always too crowded with young families and lacks warmth and ambiance. In addition, every time I've ever given it consideration, the parking is difficult (when they are busy) and I simply keep driving to something else. Tonight was a spontaneous visit. I just wanted a quick burger and a drink with outdoor seating. I had the special Vietnamese burger of the week and it was a "B-" at best - nothing to return for. The Paloma cocktails and the fries are doable - I'd return for these only if the wafting odor of grease on the patio can be eradicated. I was struck with the insistence of a patron next to us to express his disappointment to the manager related to the lack of cleanliness of the outdoor seating area and the odor. I applaud this gentleman for his talk with management and I'm in total agreement that attention needs to be given to this issue. Just because they are busy doesn't excuse the maintenance requirements for keeping the place Fresh and Welcoming. Myself and my wife probably won't be back. It's not a knock against this place outright - I just don't have any attraction to this physical space or the food. Good luck to them. Clearly there are lots of people in the neighborhood that support them. In another two years let's see who's still around. It is with a heavy heart that I have to update my review. This park burger was a staple for my husband and I. We would go once a week and treat ourselves to a burger and incredible milk shake. Unfortunately, over the past 8 months we have had multiple bad experiences to the point where we will not be returning. This past weekend I ordered a turkey burger with a fried egg and jalepenos. My burger came within 10 minutes (which I always appreciate) with no egg no jalepenos. Not a big deal, small misunderstanding from the server taking my order. She apologized and said she would put in for the egg and jalepeno right away. Non-issue. Sounds good.... Right? 30 minutes go by and our original server has vanished. Never to be seen again. My husband has now finished his burger and we have been waiting an additional 10 minutes. Finally I get frustrated and I flag down another server and let her know I am still waiting for the correct burger I ordered. She went and checked and apparently the request had not been put in to the chefs. She put it in and 10 minutes later brought the correct burger. About 15 minutes go by and our original server comes from the back of the building with our check. She says "sorry, I got busy rolling silverware. How was everything?" At this point it had been at least an hour since she had vanished saying she was going to put in the correct order. I respond "not great - you never put in my correct order and I had to flag someone else down to bring me my meal. We have been sitting here over an hour." She said she would talk to the manager and see if she could get the fried egg removed from our bill! Seriously?! The whole meal should have been comped. She comes back and said the manager agreed to take $9 off our tab. We paid and left with a horrible taste in our mouths. I wish I could say this was the only poor experience we have had at this park burger. However, it was the last straw. There always seems to be an issue with our order coming out wrong. Or something being extremely over cooked or too salty that it is inedible. I have never complained or asked for a discount on our meal, however our experience this last weekend was unacceptable. If she was sick or had to step out for an hour she should have had someone cover our table. I am not sure what happened to this Park Burger but unfortunately they have lost our loyal business. I will say - they have one of the best vanilla milkshakes I have ever had in my life. If I ever give them another chance it will absolutely be for that amazing milkshake. I crave it!! read more

For a restaurant called Park Burger I expected a great variety of choices to choose from other than beef patties. They do offer lamb and ahi tuna, but did not see chicken on the menu which was extremely disappointing. I ended up getting the ahi tuna burger, to my surprise, they put way too much of that sauce that they use for their beef patties that at the end my ahi tuna didnt even taste like tuna at all. I also got some truffle fries and these were disappointing as well. Service was good, but the place was cramped up. Needless to say, I wont be returning. Insult to injury. My wife and I decided to meet here for her 3pm lunch hour since it was close to work. She had planned to order for the both of us since I was coming from further away. However, the guy who took her drink order wouldn't take her food order, saying the server would be right there. When I arrived she'd been sitting over fifteen minutes and only just been given her soda. We sat another seven minutes before our server finished her chat at the server station and deemed us worthy an appearance. By now we'd determined it best that we just leave so my wife could pick something up on the way back to work. The server, who identified herself as the bar manager became defensive claiming she was the only one serving and no one told her my wife was ready to order, and insisted we pay for the untouched soda. Really? First off, you might have checked on the customer in the twenty-some minutes she sat there to find out. Second, if your service is this abysmal, your business should swallow the few pennies of sugar water rather than further ruining their experience by making them wait so you can ring up a check for something they didn't get the chance to enjoy. read more
