Excellent service and fun/cool ambiance, amazing and delicious food. (chicken/fries/beers - great combination)

    Chicken tenders, fried pickles, biscuit.

Just had a great first experience at Waldo's Chicken & Beer sitting at the bar with Azzy's service! She took the time to chat with us and have great suggestions. My colleague and I ordered their OG chicken sandwich, the chicken tenders, and fried pickles. The rocket sauce and jalapeño sauce were the perfect amount of heat with great flavor. The chicken was great as both the breast in the tender and thigh on the sandwich. The pickles potato wedges, and fries were also all really good! Though the first time, it will surely become a staple in our work lunch spots.

6/1/26-I was so happy when I found this location, but was super disappointed. The staff was ok, but where they lost points was on the food. The batter was falling off the chicken, the coleslaw was bland and gritty, the fries were limp, and the fruit tea was watered down and not sweet at all. This locations food was so bad when compared to the Southlands location. When people go to a chain they expect consistency in the product, and this location fails in the food. I'd recommend avoiding this location and going to one of the others.

Can't go wrong with Chicken & Waffles!!!

Just ate. May I say the service was great. All very pleasant and attentive to our needs. Food was hot and I'd say the best tenders around.

It was not particularly busy when I came in and there was a live pianist that evening. I sat at the hightop by the bar. The fish and chips were spectacular with or without the mustard remoulade (which is also good with it). The chips (fries) with their Garlic aioli is always good too. Unfortunately, this is where the good review ends. I enjoy Officer's club immensely and have the goof fortune of having dined here numerous times. This is why at this particular visit, the bad service stood out! My waitress never came back to check on me even to refill my water. I had to catch another waiter's attention to ask for water and to put in my dessert order. The waiter promptly told me that I could always just grav one of the waitstaff's attention if I needed anything. I had figured that if my absentee waitress was going to go on break or leaving (she had alerted me on neither) that she would have at least relayed my table to be tended to by somone else. 5 stars on the food, but an abyssmal 1 star for the service; evening out to 3 stars.

Even talked myself into the beet salad, which is not normally my thing, and it converted me, pumpkin seeds and pickled cherries on it. Also worth knowing, they share a building with Grow + Gather, an actual rooftop farm, and a lot of what's in the salads comes straight from it. Soft on the inside and a bit of crunch on the outside. Paired so well with the meat. The plantains were also crispy on the outside and sweet on the inside. Tasted delicious with the sauce on the side. Mashed potatoes were so soft and creamy. We weren't very sure about the lemon crema though. Props for trying something new and different. The lamb is always a favorite of ours from their OG location. Had to get that! My friend also tried the chimichurri margarita. We liked it! Very special with a kick at the end. Service was a bit slow. It took a few minutes for someone to help me when I first got there. It also took us over 30 minutes to get the check and pay. Maybe there was something we were supposed to do differently? In between those two points, the service was great during the order taking and the meal. Will definitely come back here for brunch/dinner. It's a good time!

Lincolns absolutely delivers on the speakeasy vibe - from trying to find the door, to figuring out how to actually get inside (LOL), to settling in with drinks once you're finally through. It makes the whole experience feel interactive and memorable. **Tip: it actually isn't too hard to find. I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience. Everyone was nice, but they didn't seem especially engaged, and the attire didn't really match the speakeasy atmosphere. That said, the space itself is large and immersive enough that once we had our drinks, we just leaned into the whole experience and had a great time. HINTS: 1. Go to the address listed... duh. 2. Something is COOKING through the glass. 3. Find the stairs down. 4. If you hear music and see some impressive doors, figure out how to LIFT the handle to get inside.
