I just love the fact that this fabulous restaurant changes the scenery and atmosphere every season. I decided to come here for my 50th birthday party and it was the most fun I've had all year. The food and drinks were all presented beautifully and it's definitely a show to be seen. It's summertime, so the pool theme was just perfect for me and my friends. The drinks are just fun and super strong. They are just presented with pure fun perfection. The whole waitress staff comes out blowing whistles and horns, just partying hard. The waitresses and whole staff was 10/10 all the way around. The pineapple tacos are the best thing on the menu. It also comes on the stand-up heater with 3 kinds of salsas and tortillas. They do bring you a slice of cheesecake for your birthday treat and it was so yummy. This is one of my favorite places to come to in Denver and I will definitely always come back. I would avoid this place. However, if you do decide to visit Burgers & Wings, here are a few things to keep in mind. First, the music is deafening, and it gets exponentially louder when they sing "Happy Birthday." Second, the prices are insane: $25 for a double cheeseburger or $6 for a fountain drink is simply unjustifiable. There service was also very slow at times and then also super attentive. If that doesn't scare you away, be warned that they are incredibly sly with their pricing. Costs are omitted from the physical menus, forcing you to scan a QR code to find them. In our case, we ordered an item after being quoted a specific happy hour price (despite zero mention of a happy hour anywhere in the establishment). Yet, when the check arrived, the item was marked up, and our server, Gabriel, feigned ignorance. Frankly, it felt like fraud. Additionally, they recently rebranded under a new name to reset their ratings--and based on the reviews under their previous name, it is easy to see why. This was a nice place to go to for a family brunch! The food was super fun as well as the ambiance! Music is a little loud, but we had no problem with it. I would have to say that taste wise was basic and underwhelmed. I wish the chicken strips were more juicy and crunchy for the chicken and waffle tower. The steak seemed like it was prepared by broiling and the seasonings could be better served on it. This is our second time here and the first time our sizzling molcajetes was divine! This time, the ribeye was a little too overdone and gave rubbery bits, but she chips were still yummy! One thing I was very pleased about was the berry mocktail! My sister saw this place on Facebook and wanted to try it. We went at night it was so packed so we decided to not go at that time, we went back for my nephew's birthday a week later. This place was amazing from food to service! I didn't get our servers name but she was never far and made sure we all had what we needed. The pricing is deceptive. We scanned the menu and got a price. We then looked at the ticket and got up charged on our sides they offered, but didn't see anywhere that it would be more and they didn't tell us. $6 for a Pepsi and $7 for a lemonade. The food was underwhelming. Could've gotten some of it from the frozen section at the grocery store for a lot less with the same bland taste. The music was very loud. Things I liked: 1) Super attentive. They came to the table frequently and checked on us frequently. 2) The food was really good. We got two towers, a torta, and a birria platter. Everything was really good with the exception of the chicken in the mixed tower, which was pretty dry. 3) the drinks were good but misleading. We saw a video about this place, which is what decided to make us come here and the drinks that they had on the video were not the same as what they had on the menu. However, the drinks were still very good and served creatively 4) the ambiance was fantastic, the entrance is heavily decorated and the servers are all dressed up. Music is on point. Fun atmosphere What I didnt like: 1) the only thing I didn't like is that we were charged for things we didn't know we were being charged for when we were ordering. When I brought it up to the waitress, she took off more than what I wanted her to take off. I only wanted taken off the things that I didn't specifically order at a additional cost. She took off an entire meal, which is not what I was asking for. I tried explaining to her many times that I want to pay for what I ordered but I don't want to pay for what I didn't order. i'm not in the business of trying to take advantage of people but I will not pay for things that I didn't specifically order knowing that it would be at a higher price. This place is over priced and horrible food. Everything they show on their pages isn't even on their menu. They have 15 employees just standing around watching you eat. And the attitude of the waitress is just miserable and unhappy to even be there. As someone in the food industry and owner of a business there was so much food certification rules that were broken. Including the waitress eating then serving us food without washing her hands. The no pricing on the menu which ended up being $20 for a plan birria torta you'd expect cheese on the birria torta and other toppings. The burnt bun gross. Cold fried shrimp and non melted quesadillas. Also, the HARD fried calamari and frozen cheese bites just knocked it out of the park. Then to bring out someone to take pictures of you to pay $20 per picture. And asking us if we want change. The audacity and money grab of a restaurant. To end the horrible service and food they charge the tip to your bill. They know the service is horrible along with food so they have no choice but to throw the tip in there which by the way is highly illegal. A unique experience they had performers and mechanical bulls and a bounce house for entertainment. The parking lot is large and confusing, but if you drive between the 2 buildings there is parking in the back. The parking is bumpy and has numerous large pot holes. After dark; it is not well lit ; so be careful. The building is soundproof. Once you enter the building it is extremely loud and visually aloy of stimulation from the ceiling, and walls. There is no place to look to center yourself if you become overwhelmed. I was hoping there would be a dance floor but there is not. I was holding out for the saving grace to be the drinks or food. The entore night they had to find someone to speak English to help I offered to use a translator they said no need it is fine we spend hours in waiting status. second time here and it wasn't as good as the first back in October. Our waitress was really sweet and the vibes were still fun but I noticed this time around that they try to upsell a looooot. There's no prices on the menu so it's easy for them. We got the bill back and were a bit surprised. Examples- We ordered tacos & she asked if we wanted the guac with it. We said sure. Get the bill back with a $3 charge for guac. Another example if we got the churros and she asked if we wanted the fruit & ice cream. The service was so slow it took over 45 minutes to get our order put in, and our server was disinterested in pretending to care about their job or anyone tbh. I can see why this place is viral. The music and decorations are over the top, as is the short of "show" they do depending on what you order (like shots or a fancy drink). The food itself is pretty decent. The one time we went, we had a cheeseburger, quesadilla, and wings. While none were a complete stand-out, they were solid. However, that's about as good as our experience got. The service is horrible. While we got seated quickly and were able to order in a timely fashion, once we got our food and drinks, they pretty much never waited on us again, except for one pass through after we were served. Seems like the staff was too busy hanging out with each other than waiting on us. The margarita was probably one of the worst we ever had. Basically it was sugar water that I question had alcohol in it. We also ordered a mezcal drink, which was pretty sweet but not horrible. The thing is, this place also makes it hard to order. While their menu is full of these enticing pictures, you don't actually know what anything is. Yes, the food menu is pretty self-explanatory, but the drink menu? Forget about it. Other than the margaritas and some things we were able to look up, you literally have no idea what anything else is. Also, there are no prices on the hard copy menu; you have to scan the code to get them, and by the way, the scanned menu is exactly the same as the hard copy, just with prices. Finally made into this place after seeing it all over socials for months. A bit overhyped though unfortunately. They do not put any prices for drinks on their menus so you really don't know what things cost until you get the bill. They upsell you on an extra shot for your drinks (which are so oversized it's ridiculous) that is $11!!! The drinks were decent tasting but they put so much tajin in them it's about all you can taste. There was a "dj" playing that was turning the music up so loud that you had to shout across the table to be able to hear. According to my watch it was over 95 decibels. I had a blast here. Enjoyed the food and drinks. The atmosphere was a party and they sing a birthday song for everyone whose birthday it is. For everyone who order shots they play Little Jon's shot song which gets everyone hype. My servers were awesome. I enjoyed the burgers which were quite big and the pepper was hot. They take pictures of you and your guests and you can buy them, they moved us tables when we asked since we were right under a speaker and didn't have any issues whenever we asked to move tables. I don't even know where to start with this. We went for my birthday after seeing how fun it looked on TikTok. From the moment we sat down our server was incredibly rude to the whole table. I was asked if we wanted Guacamole and chips as if it was just something they leave on the table like most Mexican restaurants do with chips and salsa, so I said yes. Not only were they $15 dollar bowls of chips and guacamole they brought two out and charged for both without ever asking about a second or mentioning the price. They brought a can of sprite that ended up costing $6 and my drink was empty the entire time without ever offering a refill. One of my friends ordered a plain margarita and was asked if he wanted a large or regular sized and when it came out it had chamoy, tajin, and fruit which was not at all what he asked for. The waitress was incredibly rude about it when we brought it up and pointed at a completely different drink and said "this is what you got because you ordered a large" they "remade" the drink but upon tasting it there was maybe a splash of tequila and the rest was just margarita mix. Now onto the food. Some people ordered brunch and others the regular menu. Everyone that ordered from the regular menu got their food well before the ones that ordered brunch, so by the time brunch food came everyone else was already done eating. My French toast breakfast bacon was undercooked but my eggs were overcooked, the ribeye and eggs the eggs were undercooked and the steak was almost rare. When we got the check the waitress just kind of threw it on the table annoyed and walked away. We were unaware the check couldn't be split and were supposed to see a 12% gratuity already added to the bill, especially with the way our waitress treated us the entire time we were there. When asked if the birthday thing was an extra charge the waitress proceeded to roll her eyes behind the person that asked and shake her head. By the time they came to do the birthday everyone was so uncomfortable and wanted to leave that some had already started walking out. The waitress then tried making me feel bad for not staying for it despite the attitude she had the entire time she served us. Overall it was one of the worst and most uncomfortable dining experiences I've ever experienced and I left almost in tears by the end. Honestly I was extremely disappointed in this place, I seen videos on social media of this restaurant and they made it look amazing but they do say don't trust what you see on social media. I give it a 2 star and I feel like that is still pretty generous but it's mainly because the food came out fast. Let's start with the ambiance, when you walk in you are greeted by a hostess wearing a tie and vest which automatically doesn't go with the vibe of the restaurant since wings and burgers are never classy. When you get inside it's very small and packed and music is blaring so loud you can't even talk to your wait staff. They had a DJ in the ceiling which was a tad weird and the sound system they had was just pure treble blasting in to your ears it was pretty obnoxious. Definitely a place you stop at after you are a few drinks in and want to party. Food looked great in all the videos on social media so we already had high expectations but were let down pretty fast. Starting with drinks my wife and I ordered the micheladas and we are self-proclaimed michelada connoisseurs and these were one of the worst micheladas we have ever had. They tasted like the bud light michelada cans you buy at the liquor store that had been watered down with some Tajin and chamoy definitely don't recommend them. I had the Juarez burger which is always one of my favorites to get a Mexican spot and I didn't think it would be possible to mess up a burger but it honestly was one of the worst I've had. The burger itself was pretty flavorless and just didn't have that authentic taste at all, the fries are definitely frozen fries from a bag that had no seasoning. My wife got the adobada torta and she said it was mediocre and didn't end up finishing it. Service was okay nothing special but nothing horrible. Food and drinks came out fast and they came by to check on us occasionally. They do come give you your check then you have to awkwardly stand at the bar waiting to pay which was strange.
