I would avoid this place. However, if you do decide to visit Burgers & Wings, here are a few things to keep in mind. First, the music is deafening, and it gets exponentially louder when they sing "Happy Birthday." Second, the prices are insane: $25 for a double cheeseburger or $6 for a fountain drink is simply unjustifiable. There service was also very slow at times and then also super attentive. If that doesn't scare you away, be warned that they are incredibly sly with their pricing. Costs are omitted from the physical menus, forcing you to scan a QR code to find them. In our case, we ordered an item after being quoted a specific happy hour price (despite zero mention of a happy hour anywhere in the establishment). Yet, when the check arrived, the item was marked up, and our server, Gabriel, feigned ignorance. Frankly, it felt like fraud. Additionally, they recently rebranded under a new name to reset their ratings--and based on the reviews under their previous name, it is easy to see why. We then looked at the ticket and got up charged on our sides they offered, but didn't see anywhere that it would be more and they didn't tell us. $6 for a Pepsi and $7 for a lemonade. Went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and we had a great time! We started with margs then got the "flight" of shots. They had asada fries that were loaded with toppings. The birria quesadilla and the birria tacos were DELICIOUS!!! We also ordered the flaming cheeses goodness burger! My sister saw this place on Facebook and wanted to try it. We went at night it was so packed so we decided to not go at that time, we went back for my nephew's birthday a week later. This place was amazing from food to service! I didn't get our servers name but she was never far and made sure we all had what we needed. The new Brunch menu is amazing running from 10am to 2:30pm . Strickly breakfast items including Oreo pancakes, waffles, steak and eggs, hash browns. No lunch items until 2:30. They do have mimosa towers and a full bar for this brunch service. Our waiter Duban was fabulous with explaining everything on the menu. The restaurant itself is a party leftover going from Saturday, Super fun, exciting and feels like Tijuana in a fun way. Things I liked: 1) Super attentive. They came to the table frequently and checked on us frequently. 2) The food was really good. We got two towers, a torta, and a birria platter. Everything was really good with the exception of the chicken in the mixed tower, which was pretty dry. 3) the drinks were good but misleading. This place is over priced and horrible food. Everything they show on their pages isn't even on their menu. They have 15 employees just standing around watching you eat. And the attitude of the waitress is just miserable and unhappy to even be there. As someone in the food industry and owner of a business there was so much food certification rules that were broken. The no pricing on the menu which ended up being $20 for a plan birria torta you'd expect cheese on the birria torta and other toppings. The burnt bun gross. Cold fried shrimp and non melted quesadillas. Also, the HARD fried calamari and frozen cheese bites just knocked it out of the park. Then to bring out someone to take pictures of you to pay $20 per picture. And asking us if we want change. The audacity and money grab of a restaurant. A unique experience they had performers and mechanical bulls and a bounce house for entertainment. The parking lot is large and confusing, but if you drive between the 2 buildings there is parking in the back. The parking is bumpy and has numerous large pot holes. second time here and it wasn't as good as the first back in October. Our waitress was really sweet and the vibes were still fun but I noticed this time around that they try to upsell a looooot. There's no prices on the menu so it's easy for them. We got the bill back and were a bit surprised. Examples- We ordered tacos & she asked if we wanted the guac with it. We said sure. I can see why this place is viral. The music and decorations are over the top, as is the short of "show" they do depending on what you order (like shots or a fancy drink). While their menu is full of these enticing pictures, you don't actually know what anything is. Yes, the food menu is pretty self-explanatory, but the drink menu? Forget about it. Other than the margaritas and some things we were able to look up, you literally have no idea what anything else is. Also, there are no prices on the hard copy menu; you have to scan the code to get them, and by the way, the scanned menu is exactly the same as the hard copy, just with prices. For everyone who order shots they play Little Jon's shot song which gets everyone hype. My servers were awesome. I enjoyed the burgers which were quite big and the pepper was hot. I don't even know where to start with this. We went for my birthday after seeing how fun it looked on TikTok. From the moment we sat down our server was incredibly rude to the whole table. I was asked if we wanted Guacamole and chips as if it was just something they leave on the table like most Mexican restaurants do with chips and salsa, so I said yes. Not only were they $15 dollar bowls of chips and guacamole they brought two out and charged for both without ever asking about a second or mentioning the price. They brought a can of sprite that ended up costing $6 and my drink was empty the entire time without ever offering a refill. One of my friends ordered a plain margarita and was asked if he wanted a large or regular sized and when it came out it had chamoy, tajin, and fruit which was not at all what he asked for. The waitress was incredibly rude about it when we brought it up and pointed at a completely different drink and said "this is what you got because you ordered a large" they "remade" the drink but upon tasting it there was maybe a splash of tequila and the rest was just margarita mix. Now onto the food. Some people ordered brunch and others the regular menu. Everyone that ordered from the regular menu got their food well before the ones that ordered brunch, so by the time brunch food came everyone else was already done eating. My French toast breakfast bacon was undercooked but my eggs were overcooked, the ribeye and eggs the eggs were undercooked and the steak was almost rare. When we got the check the waitress just kind of threw it on the table annoyed and walked away. We were unaware the check couldn't be split and were supposed to see a 12% gratuity already added to the bill, especially with the way our waitress treated us the entire time we were there. When asked if the birthday thing was an extra charge the waitress proceeded to roll her eyes behind the person that asked and shake her head. By the time they came to do the birthday everyone was so uncomfortable and wanted to leave that some had already started walking out. The waitress then tried making me feel bad for not staying for it despite the attitude she had the entire time she served us. Overall it was one of the worst and most uncomfortable dining experiences I've ever experienced and I left almost in tears by the end. When someone else from our party went up to ask again how long, it turned out they marked us as a no show even though we had been waiting in their waiting area on the enclosed patio. Once inside and sat, we were told that they do not split checks. Honestly I was extremely disappointed in this place, I seen videos on social media of this restaurant and they made it look amazing but they do say don't trust what you see on social media. I had the Juarez burger which is always one of my favorites to get a Mexican spot and I didn't think it would be possible to mess up a burger but it honestly was one of the worst I've had. The burger itself was pretty flavorless and just didn't have that authentic taste at all, the fries are definitely frozen fries from a bag that had no seasoning. My wife got the adobada torta and she said it was mediocre and didn't end up finishing it. Service was okay nothing special but nothing horrible.
