Arrived at restaurant around 7 PM Wednesday 11th of May with my wife. We sat upstairs on the patio deck because it was a gorgeous evening. It took 10 to 15 minutes for the server to greet us and take our order. We ordered 2 Absolute martinis and 1 beef carpaccio at that point. The server informed us that he was starting to get busy downstairs and that they might be a little bit backed up. The carpaccio and drinks came to us approximately 35 to 40 minutes after ordering. A totally unreasonable wait time. The Martinis were poured very short, watered down and one of the them had several ice cubes in it. The carpaccio was not like a typical carpaccio we had ever seen before. It appeared to be cooked. Almost like someone opened up a pre packaged roast beef, took out five slices and put them on a plate. It was also covered in a lemon aioli which was strong on the mayo and not very flavorful. The flavor and texture of the carpaccio was far below average. It appeared to be cheaply made. As advertised it included a few specks of micro greens, some fig jam in the middle and a few capers sprinkled around. The martinis were priced high for Absolute vodka and the quality of the drinks served. Total cost I think was around $41. This restaurant failed us miserably on our special date night. We ended up going to Outback afterwards because nothing else was open after wasting almost 2 hours of our time at Park Heights. The Outback by the way was pretty good with very attentive service and a perfect Kettle one martini for almost half the price of Park Heights. I don't think we will be back to Park Heights unless something drastically changes with the quality of their food, drinks and service. If they are going to market themselves as "fine dining" they really have some work to do. We stopped here for brunch on Sunday and are very happy that we did! The shrimp and grits were heavenly and so were the bloody mary's! I would highly recommend eating here. Can't wait to come back for dinner soon! read more

One of the finest meals we have had .....and it's in TUPELO MISSISSIPPI!!! Appetizers entrees and dessert were all brilliant. Don't miss this place. We have dined in Paris, New York, LA etc and this restaurant could be in any of them. What a find ! read more

I was recently in Tupelo from DC visiting friends who took me to this beautiful restaurant. Totally not what I expected in a small town. The place is open with low lighting which sets a great mood. Looked like a great place to take a date even though I was with 5 other friends. We had a drink in the bar beforehand. Check out the coffered ceiling. Really nice. Park Heights is a beautiful restaurant with excellent service and wonderful food. When you walk in and see the surroundings, you may wonder if you need to be wearing a tie and jacket. That is not the case. You will be warmly welcomed and served some of the best food I've ever eaten. The amazing attentiveness of the staff and owners completes the experience. I LOVE this place. In my opinion, Park Heights is the most relaxing place to eat, visit, take friends you want to impress, and have a great time. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!!!!! read more

The scallop and risotto appetizer was perfect. I had the Mahi entree which was lacking in salt and acidity. A little lemon went a long way though and with that addition the meal was delicious! The service was on point. Overall it was a solid experience and I would recommend it! read more

Drove an hour to eat dinner at Park Heights with high hopes.. Only to be met with mediocre at best. To start, service was super slow. Appetizers were good! (fried green tomatoes & beef empanadas) It all went downhill starting with the salad. The apples on my Waldorf salad were basically rotten. Nothing fresh or crisp about them. They were BROWN. Follow this up with roasted Rosemary potatoes that were so over cooked. They had the consistency of rubber. My steak was over cooked. My bread pudding was just not good. Looked like no other bread pudding I have seen. More like a pound cake. A bit rubbery as well. No ESPRESSO either.. The thing both my husband and I were plagued with the most, WHY do you serve Martini's in a WINE glass? & why would you serve the olives for my Martini to me on a NAPKIN? Appalling! Park Heights left lots to be desired. If you are familiar at all with the slightest of fine dining, this is not the place for you.. Very disappointed and wish we had driven an hour in the opposite direction to Birmingham. We will not be returning! read more
