I guess?? Now I can say I've stayed at Motel 6... definitely first time and the last time. My back hurts, my neck, my body... everything. The room is dirty... sheets are stained. Room DOESN'T have ac???? Things are like broken left and right. Especially the bed!!! Oh my god. We also had to wait 70 MINUTES waiting for someone to let us in.. we got in our room at 3am!!!! Wtf??? I could not even stay the night sadly--- we checked in and the two guys working seemed high, ok, no problem, but got into the room and it was super musty and smelled of mold. right off the bat the bed cover was stained , ew, and yes it seemed that kind of stain. I pulled it off to find the blankets stained and burnet with several cig holes. again ew. I then pulled the covers back thinking maybe cleaned again stained sheets. Stood here for one night. Found what I thought was a good deal on Priceline. Boy oh boy was I so wrong? The room was old but fairly clean, so that was plus. Didn't smell like cigarettes. I checked the sheets for bed bugs as I always do no matter where I stay. It was clean. Once I got into the bed it was lumpy, very lumpy. The mattress was terrible. The front desk clerk stated that was the only room left. He did nothing to try to solve the problem other than make excuses. Not acceptable as I didn't want to hear excuses I wanted something to be done about the lumpy mattress. Could not sleep on the bed at all. The area's not bad. There's lot of truckers and several guest(s) had loud barking dogs. Several places like Nations and Los Potros to eat at very close bye. read more

This Motel 6 is horrible, infested with bed bugs, ticks, they are pet friendly which is discussing if you can't keep the rooms sanitized & cleaned. My family & I checked in @2:30p & as soon as it was time to lay down I saw bed bugs & ticks OMG yuck we checked out same day by 10:00p. The San Joaquin County Health department needs to inspect & shut this place down. Not including the drug addicts & prostitution that goes on at Motel 6 right behind Dennys off the 205 in Tracy Ca. 8 years ago it was never like this. We ended up checking in at Holiday Inn. I checked in on 12/31/23 already gave my card info to the woman when making my reservation. I was then told the card machine wasn't working so I needed to pull out 120 dollars. I check my card statement the next day, I was charged the 92 on my card and 120 in cash. The man I checked in with scammed me. Also in room 102 there is a red stain on the floor, cockroaches in the bathroom, rust stain in the tub, and the sheets looked dusty and had a hair that wasn't mine. My aunty passed away in Tracy, CA. And we planned on staying at the Motel 6 in Tracy. I called 3 days in a row and not one time did anyone answer til this morning at 5:30am. I spoke with a GSR by the name of Bradley and asked If he could book me a room for a week. And he stated that only his manager would be able to help me and to call back in 15 minutes. I expressed to him that I've been calling for the last 3 days and finally he has answered and I feel that when I try back that no one will answer. Well, I've been calling all day today and no one is answering. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. What kind of business establishment doesn't answer their phone? Motel 6 in Tracy! People hanging around outside - talking, laughing, yelling very late into the evening. Dogs barking. Room was relatively clean. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. I didn't see any bugs. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and smelled like pot smoke was coming through the air vent. I didn't use the shower as I didn't even stay. Too noisy still at 11pm so I left. Didn't feel safe. Convinient location, least expensive motel/hotel off the 205. Average motel and motel pricing. They do have WiFi on some, not all, rooms for an extra $2.99 per day. Rooms have been refurbished. Shower stalls instead of bathtubs, at least in the non-handicap access rooms. Walking distance to Denny's, adjacent to motel, Nation's Burger, McDonalds, Wendy's, Subway, a Chinese Buffet, some Taquerias, and other food places. Also walking distance to a Mexican grocery store Mi Pueblo, gas station food markets, and CVS Pharmacy. Rooms are clean, however the air condition part of the heating/cooling units don't always work. Last two times, during a heat wave in Tracy, it never cooled down to a comfortable level. Was only staying for one night so didn't report it to front desk till check out. I now take a portable fan when I stay here. read more

The Tracy, Ca motel 6 is the worst next to Oakland in Northern CA. This one was very dirty, only gave 1 towel and no washcloths, was very noisy all night and had trash everywhere on the property. When I mentioned that there had been trash on the lawn outside my room at my 7 am checkout that had been there from 4 pm the day before the clerk claimed they pick up all the trash - when I told her how long it had been there she rudely made excuses. The check in was quick and the staff was courteous. The room needed a lot of repairs, The bathroom fan did not work and was hanging out the wall with wires exposed. The bathroom door could not close due to a huge screw sticking out of the door jam. The whole thing was falling apart. The shower had no water pressure what so ever and it was either very hot or scalding. The bed spread was dirty and the pillows had stains on them. The headboard was falling off the wall. There was dried blood on the ceiling above the bed. The air conditioner did not work. Also the people above us were making so much noise we could not sleep. This has got to be one of the worst places I have ever spent the night in. The location is great, it is right off the freeway, easy to find. It is more of a truckstop then a regular hotel. There were lots of shady characters walking around when I arrived. The front desk was courteous and prompt. When I finally checked into my room it was absolutely disgusting! The room was filthy, the comforter had burnt cigarette holes in it, and was filthy. The room had absolutely no amenities beside the TV. The bathroom was so gross that I couldn't bear to brush my teeth in it, and had to go to the McDonald's bathroom. I could hear everything happening in the room above me, extremely noisy. The bed was so awful that my feet were hanging off, and I'm only 5'10" I would never recommend this place to anyone! And even if you're desperate please don't stay here!! read more

We walked in to check-in and got terrible service from Ricky. He was very rude and unprofessional. He asked for the ID and my friend showed him an ID. This is a super sketchy Hotel. It was the only hotel with rooms in the area, and I understand why. Upon arrival woman who was lounging on the cement outside her room was telling me where she was and where we were repeatedly so that was helpful, I'm guessing meth? The area is super ghetto, the room is sparsely decorated and not nice floors were so dirty my feet were filthy had to wash them several times. Not a good hotel in many many ways. Price was right, it's about all I can say for it. I booked room close to the pool, ground level and smoking room (I am disabled). Instead I was put on the second floor, not close to the pool, and not a smoking room. Did not receive an apology was just told to go outside and smoke. Not exactly sure that is safe for somebody's later in the evening standing out in this area. Bed wasn't horribly uncomfortable but not great either. Room has no fridge, microwave, and agent even Supply those little bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I was a little bit concerned staying by myself, but I had no reason to be lonely, because there was at least one cockroach in the room to keep me company. Well that was until he met his ultimate demise under my foot. Staff was not overly helpful but not horrible either. I guess if you're somebody who doesn't care about cleanliness or style this might be the room for you or if you're looking to score I'm sure several of the other occupants could help you out there.. read more

Looked at old school thermostat, it's been on High and Cold - but the air being blown out was honestly close to Medium Warm. 1 hour later, couldn't sleep through what felt like a sauna now. Walked to front desk, ask to be put into a room w/ cold AC - they looked at me as if I was crazy for thinking that room needed AC. They checked me into the room right next door. Same THING. NO COLD AC. It was already midnight so I took it..... Woke up, had what looks like a brown recluse spider bite on my thigh.... Eh, let's be honest, this is Motel 6. So if you want to decide as to whether or not this is the motel for you, here's the low-down. NO: You will not get the most "cushy" room on the planet; it's bare bones necessity. Your room won't be a comfortable temperature. It will be 80 degrees with a heater blowing in your face, even though the temperature control says it's on cool. You won't have the most peaceful night of sleep because, I'm pretty sure that every other guest has no plans on sleeping until 3 am and the walls are as thin as paper. You will not have soft towels and they may have hair still on them. Your TV might not even work that well and the plug might fall right out of the socket. YES: You will have a short shower because the water pressure is ridiculously hard, but hey at least it's warm and not droopy. You won't even feel all that comfortable if you're a single, young female surrounded by really weird and creepy men that have probably committed some crime involving drugs once or twice. Yes, you will rush to check out of this trashy joint, but you will survive the night, even if you didn't really get the greatest sleep because you forgot your earplugs. So really, it's MOTEL 6. My advice? Upgrade for about $20 to something a little bit more peaceful and lot less "Ciudad Juarez". read more

Also a great location since it's right off the freeway and close to everything and Dennys is right across the parking lot ! It had been a hot day so one might expect the air conditioning to be running in the motel room, and it had been. But they had let it continue running well after the day had cooled so that when I checked in at about midnight the room was frigid! The room, although it's been refurbished, still has an ancient thermostat with only 3 controls: on/off, fan hi/low/off, temperature was controlled by a lever that had a lot of travel but was marked only warm at one end and cold at the other. It was set all the way cold when I came in, so I moved it all the way to warm. Ten minutes later the vent was still blowing cold air, so I went to the front desk to ask if there was a trick to get heat. The desk person who had been helpful when I arrived, said that I needed to let it run longer because with everybody in the motel using their A/C or heat, it will take some time for the hot air to reach my room! Have you ever heard such a thing? The more people using heat, the cooler the place becomes? It's not as though central heat is the same as water pressure. I'm unaware of any modern buildings in North America that were built with heating systems unable to heat the entire building at once - especially a hotel! Needless to say, 30 minutes later there was still only cool air. I spent the night, too tired to go find another motel. In the morning the vent was still blowing cool air. This is the second Motel 6 I've visited where the heating or A/C was completely nonfunctional and the staff was unable to unwilling to do anything about it. read more
