While I understand that accidents can happen during grooming, it was concerning that this wasn't mentioned or documented so we could monitor the area or seek treatment for potential infection, if necessary. My elderly mother, who picked up the dog, didn't notice the abrasions right away. When I saw her the next day, I immediately noticed both sides were cut. Upon speaking in person with the manager, she insisted it was just "allergies" and offered no apology or refund. This was very disappointing, especially since my mother recently moved here from South Carolina, where she had a groomer she absolutely loved and trusted. I would avoid this place given their lack of transparency and accountability.

Not only did they make my puppy calm and relaxed, but they put me at ease too. You can just tell that they are completely knowledgeable, and know their way around a dog. Even when I picked him up he was completely calm and didn't seem like he was traumatized at all. The place is older, but it is clean. My main concern, as with any loving pet owner, is that my puppy is treated with kindness. Both women were more than kind and lovely. I will be taking my boy back for more grooming in the future.

She made up a story that I said I talked down on her. So she told me she didn't want to groom Blissom anymore. What she said she heard was not true. I was very upset and uncomfortable. She was making up excuses to me. Just because she was upset with me, she didn't have to scare Blosson. Actually she did me a favor, her true colors came out. I told her she could ask my ride, to verify it wasn't true what she said. She refused to talk to him. I am 73 years old and have Bone on Bone arthritis everywhere. She was very rude.

Any experienced groomer should know that shaving a double-coated dog is harmful--it damages their natural heating and cooling system, and the coat may never grow back the same. It's been two months since this happened, and I've since taken her to a different groomer who was just as horrified. They told me that no real professional would ever shave a double coated dog. If they do, they probably never went to grooming school. My golden's beautiful coat may never grow back the way it was, and if it does, it could take years. I am heartbroken. If you love your dog, do not bring your double coated dog here.
