It'd be great to know why their appliances are low in cost. If I had to guess, possibly returns,…read morefloor models or refurbs. Some appliances had visible scuffs & dents. Nothing major, surface level scuffs that could be buffed out. Their pricing on some models is unique because you won't find that in big box stores. Many appliances were SS, fewer of either black or white. Pricing. For example an LG electric stove with air fryer tech for half the regular price is unheard of. That model easily sells for clear over $1200. I'm curious whether the original warranty is still valid or this shop offers extended warranties. You're wondering why I didn't get this info from a salesman? Me too. There was a person there but he was on the phone for the duration of my visit. I asked a few questions about appliances, sizes and what they have available. He was less than helpful and his body language gave me the impression he wasn't interested in selling today. Used appliance shops can be like this, but this was different. If he was more outgoing and provided details, I may have purchased an appliance on the spot. Pricing seemed too good to be true. Details matter though.. However small are needed. Delivery cost? Install cost? It's the delivery charges & installation costs that can be over the top in used appliance shops. They offer big brands and many were up to 50% off. I'll have to wait to see reviews and then circle back in the future.

We had great experience coordinating with FUSE to repair the ice maker on our Viking refrigerator…read more They were very responsive to my initial request for a quote, including a call from a supervisor to hear more about the issue and try to issue a more informed estimate. (Ultimately unsuccessful, but I appreciated the effort.) The technician, Bek, was on time, courteous, and very open about explaining everything he inspected. In just under an hour, he was able to diagnose the problem and replace our ice maker, which he had on hand. One small critique-- it caught me a little off guard to see a tip option on screen when making my payment, but in this case I obliged, considering how well the whole appointment went. I guess that's just tipping culture these days! ‍

Vlad, the…read moretechnician, found out that he needed to order an additional part to fix it and would need to make an additional trip. I assumed he would charge for the follow-up visit, but there were no additional charges; I really appreciated his honesty. Recently, I had a text dialog with Russ and found out that Fuse service's HVAC systems as well. I agreed to an annual maintenance plan, but didn't plan on having them out until fall. A few weeks later, while I was out of town in July, I got a message from my Ecobee thermostat indicating that the A/C wasn't working. I texted Russ about this and he showed up after 6PM on a Saturday, the same day I texted him about the issue! He figured out what was wrong right away and just folded the service call into my annual service plan which was, as before with the dishwasher, very generous and much appreciated. I'm literally excited to have Fuse Service as my go to place for appliance repair and HVAC maintenance. I'm used to businesses asking me to write positive Yelp reviews and I don't mind that. But, Fuse did not ask me to write my review.

So, that seemed a little outrageous. Contacted nick and from the onset knew that this would be a different experience. Let the glazing begin! Cannot say enough about nick and the business that he runs. Was a pleasure to work with him diagnosing the issue (he took a look at the photo l, asked me to retrieve the model number on the stove/griddle and saved me that absurd 210 fee) - gave me variable pricing between generic and OEM parts, and was quick to schedule service rather than having a lead time of weeks out like the other companies were requesting. On top of that, he went out of his way to take a look at my dishwasher as a courtesy as it was giving us an error just before he left our home. People like nick remind me that there remain honest and hard-working service people out there. Super glad that I found his company and would not hesitate to have him out again to perform any repair as needed. Thanks again, nick!
