This is a pet peeve of mine. We asked to sit outside to have a drink. They seated us and brought tortilla chips and salsa and placed it on the table. We had already eaten lunch and it only come here for a drink, but then they told us if we didn't order we had to pay for the chips and salsa that we did not order and they put on the table. That's a pet peeve of mine We ordered some more chips with a trio of dip and didn't even eat it because we weren't hungry, but I hate to be charged for something I didn't even order. The view is great. The service is pretty good, but I have to say I don't like when a restaurant has to pull up fast one on you when all you wanted to do was have a cold beer and look at the view and that's what we told them when we came in The burger at the table next-door looked good, but I saw that the guy didn't really eat much of it because it looked really raw in the middle and I never saw the waitress come back to his table, but I'm just judging from afar

Excellent snack place and delicious margaritas. We had the tortillas with guacamole, homemade salsa and queso blanco - sooo good! Margaritas were fabulous and so was the view! Thank you for a nice experience at your family owned bistro

You can find Park Street Grille at 1 Park Dr, Rockland, ME 04841. If you use Google Maps it leads you to a street corner - the restaurant is actually in the front of the Maine Lighthouse Museum across the street. There's plenty of street parking or you can park in the lot by the harbor and walk up. I had low expectations of this restaurant from the reviews I perused online - fortunately was pleasantly surprised. We walked in during the week, shortly after tourist season, the place was still very busy but I think we managed to beat the dinner rush since we were seated immediately. The place is large and has some outdoor seating - we chose to sit inside so no wait. The interior wraps around a fairly large bar and from what I could tell, there were quite a few tap handles featuring local craft brews. Out server was also taking care of a large party so some of the other staff took our drink order and brought us glasses of water. Before getting into the food, there were two unusual features in the restaurant - there's stairs in the middle of the floor leading up, and the bathrooms are through doors to the museum - seems they share the same facilities. For drinks we both chose choose: * Baxter Brewing Ice Storm of '98 Hazy IPA 5.8% ABV - 3.3/5 Sweet tropical fruit notes in this easy drinker, a bit of haze in a super light body, finishing hoppy and fairly clean. They brought out chips and salsa - actually many TexMex items on the menu so it made sense. The chips were fresh and not overly thick - the salsa was pretty basic but satisfying. We split a bowl of Spicy Shrimp and Crab Gumbo which we both liked a lot - this is served on rice so be aware. I ordered the Lobster Mac-and-Cheese as I wanted to experience it in Maine - this is a huge portion served in a round plate on a platter that also held my side salad. No complaints here - the Mac was creamy and had a lot of both tail and claw chunks, super rich. My wife ordered the crabcakes which were delicious - plump, large and very moist, served with spicy remoulade and a garden salad. We were both surprised by the large portions - quite the deal compared to what we've tried so far in the area. We finished up with the carrot cake - it was a bit disappointing after the entries and soup. Seemed previously frozen and thawed for service with subdued flavors and flat icing. Service was exceptional - I'm rating this restaurant 4.4/5.

    Mussels borrachos were excellent!

The food was excellent! I had the mussels which were out of this world with flavor. My sister enjoyed the honey chipotle shrimp and a bowl of pazole. The flavors were scrumptious! Above all else, Alyson, our server was exceptional on a very busy night! Enjoyed the whole evening there!

Great food great atmosphere very friendly staff in a nice view Park Street Bar and Grill is some of the best food in town there and the staff is so friendly end of you was quite nice I highly recommend a Park Street Bar and Grill we woke up this beautiful sunrise morning in our hotel in Rockland Maine for our 3rd Anniversary to a beautiful sunrise on the bay and of course we had to go get some coffee LOL firing up the hot tub down in the rec room before we check out today turned out to be okay even though the hotel wasn't the best in the condition under construction but we still had some fun I do highly recommend the Park Street Bar and Grill wonderful place to eat and great atmosphere the lobster wontons were absolutely delicious and so was the crab quesadilla

Having been to the old Park Street Grille Many times over the years, this was our first time in the new location at the Maine Lighthouse Museum, just a building down froM the old location. I really like the new spot, much more open and bright, and with an outdoor deck over the water. Big menu with many Tex-Mex options, so we started with guac, salsa and chips. I had a very good baked stuffed haddock, Kim had chicken fajitas. Food, service and beer was all very good!

I stopped for lunch with my parents (who had previously dined at PSG) in early June. It was a bit past peak lunch hours and outside of prime vacation season so the place was pretty quiet. We were promptly greeted by a friendly host who offered us either a table or a booth in the open concept dining area. Our waitress was just as affable and attentive. Not long after being sat complimentary chips & salsa were delivered to the table (future rounds require you to pay). There are plenty of drink options from non-alcoholic to fruity margaritas. I personally went with the house margarita which I assume to have well tequila; tasty but I wished I had thought to ask about their "award winning margarita" (but really they have award plaques to show off their standing in Knox County). PSG certainly has an interesting menu that is loaded with Tex-Amex options - many seafood inspired. I went with the fish tacos and honestly they were some of the best fish tacos I've had in a long while. Also the cheese quesadilla portion was huge especially paired with the soup special of the day. Certainly worthy of checking out of you are in the area and want a casual place that isn't focused solely on seafood but you'll still be able to catch some water views sitting inside or out on the small deck. 5-star service. Food was great and nothing over the top but way better than any chain restaurant could provide! Also to note: we found free street parking directly out front but other nearby parking options are available. You'll find PSG in adjacent to the lighthouse museum!

This is a great place to go for Mexican and they even have a little variety if that's not quite your thing. The fajitas are a must. If you love margaritas you're at the right place! The service is always great!

Unfortunately this place was average (or below average) for the cost…read more Came here to get lobster bisque due to a glowing review from another Yelper. I asked for it extra hot. Ordered the fried haddock sandwich too. Soup arrived with steam (before the spoons to eat it came) but the soup was actually not that hot when we tasted it. We had to wait for spoons. The bowl of lobster bisque was $34, which was a conscious decision for us to order - because that's expensive. (A cup is$20.) The lobster bisque had no flavor. The salt, pepper and lemon we added ourselves helped but for $34, it should be amazing. It cooled off super quickly and was room temperature within 3 minutes and in 8 minutes or so, cold. Which means it wasn't truly heated through and through to start. We regret ordering it. The fried haddock sandwich had zero flavor. None. Not salt, not pepper. The fries and Heinz ketchup had the most flavor of anything on our table. When the sandwich came we asked for another plate (we were sharing it), which never came. At one point, the waitress came over and asked how everything was. I replied, "Eh, alright." She said "Okay!" and walked away. Disappointing since, budget-wise, we are eating out one meal a day of this trip and that was the experience (and lack of flavor) we had. $66 including tip. Such a waste. Sorry to say....but skip this place.

To start with, this is the same Dry Dock restaurant I reviewed in 2023 - sort of! It is actually…read morethe same owners but in a larger space. We learned of it from locals and decided to give it a try. It was a bit rocky of a start, someone didn't really know that we were there, but when we asked we had service recovery that was off the charts. We had a very nice Chardonnay. and because of our initial wait we received the cajun shrimp appetizer that was absolutely incredible and served with homemade chipotle cocktail sauce - so good and perfect with the wine. I then followed that with an order of chicken wings that came with buffalo sauce and blue cheese, Wayne had the fettuccine Alfredo that was also excellent. Although no longer within the blues festival grounds, we will totally add it to next year's plan!
