They did a bunch of my rewiring and installation in 2019 (after another contractor made a mess) and I've called them for various other projects over the years. The electrician who came to my home was very nice, understanding, and helpful. My only disappointment was the charge. I thought I was paying $89 for a diagnostic. When I received the bill, it was much higher. He ordered a part I would need and said he would come back to install it but when I saw the invoice for that projected job, I had to decline. Excellent marks across the board for this company. I needed a general inspection for a house we had bought, and to troubleshoot some areas of concern. I found them to exceed my expectations across the board. Professional, timely (were even able to show up early!), personable and knowledgeable. I'm not very experienced in this area and had concerns that this might be taken advantage of. This was far from the case. I was presented with a diagnosis, given ranges of reasonable options and never nickel and dimed. The entire staff were awesome. From Sydney on the phone, Nathan doing the original inspection and estimate to Daniel and Marshall who did the work on time, on budget and with transparency. It's difficult to write this review because the more people know about how great these guys are, the tougher scheduling will be for my future electrical projects. But, I won't be selfish... I called Parker Bros for a full kitchen remodel re-wiring project and 30 new recessed/canned lighting fixtures. They put me on the schedule and showed up on time the day of the first appt. Although there was no email or confirmation from Parker Bros of the appointment in any way, I had noted it on my work calendar so I wouldn't forget. Adam and Ryan are probably two of the nicest 'contractors' I've worked with. I needed to find a place for 30 new canned lights and they helped through that process. They covered furniture with plastic (I provided sheeting from a prior project) when drilling/cutting, and took the time to clean up any debris afterwards. My project isn't even finished, but I'm already looking forward to working with Parker Bros on the next one. read more

I unfortunately paid for an estimate to occur on my home, thinking that it would be worth it, but in order for me to even receive a cost estimate I had to call 3 times for it, and it took 2 weeks to get. Knowing this, I will not be going with them. If they wanted my business they would have contacted me sooner and if they had outstanding customer service they would have offered a discount for all the calls I had to do. Trying to utilize home warranty for appliances and the company made me find my own electrician and I ended up going with Parker Bros frankly because they answered their phone. Friendly helpful electrician came to our home evaluated some of the appliances from our claim and included additional things he was interested to repair in estimate I received after I paid the $200 for his visit. He mentioned having the knob we needed to be able to control one rooms wall heater, sounds great right? Also, he assured my other half that he works with our home warranty company "all the time". About after a week, I called Parker Brod to inquire if they had sent the estimate to the warranty company because I only had two weeks before my claim was closed. I also mentioned that we needed to make sure the estimate sent to them pertained the the appliances in my claim. More time passed and I realized that nothing was going to be accomplished unless I acted as the middle man. Warranty company told me that they had to communicate with Parker Bros for more information. Next thing I heard was that Parker Brothers told them that my appliances were damaged and so both my claim and coverage was dropped for each of those appliances under I buy new ones and have them professionally installed. This whole situation was an enormous waste of my time and money. If you have a knowledgeable buddy and/or YouTube, just do it yourself. The lack of professionalism and inability to follow instructions makes Parker Bros a very poor choice. Oh and by the way, the quoted price for 1 replacement knob from them costs $245... read more

I called Parker Bros Electric because of their high reviews. I scheduled an appointment for all of my tenants a month out. A week before the initial appointment, they called to let me know they had to reschedule due to jobs being pushed out. No big deal, it happens. We scheduled it for the following week. I didn't get a confirmation call or email, so I called them on the day of our appointment to confirm they were coming. The receptionist told me that they couldn't and needed to reschedule AGAIN another week out! My tenants have taken off work to accommodate the appointment not once, but twice! This is unacceptable!! I pushed for her to honor our appointment. She calls the electrician, and calls me back to let me know that they have an availability within the hour. Ummm... no. My tenants are at work and they can't just leave at a moments notice. After pushing harder, she then had the audacity to tell me that I need to be more flexible and this is just how business is done. No lady. That's NOT how business is done. Not successful ones anyway. You make an appointment with a 2 hour time window for exactly this reason! Time windows ARE showing flexibility. I've taken my business elsewhere - where my time is honored and respected. read more

Nate came out to do my electrical job. I had a short & he was very nice & professional & thorough in finding the problem. The problem seemed to right itself when he pulled out the outlet - so he explained the problem was still there even if it seemed to fix itself, so he checked all possible causes & did a couple things where it went out again - because he didn't want the problem to occur once he left. Nate really has (had) my confidence in eradicating problem without overcharging me in the process. I think the electrician is very knowledge. The GFCI switches are not working in the bathroom, even after reset. We had a handyman over he wasn't able to fix them. The electrician was able to fix the issue and also fix the incorrect wiring for them. read more

Parker Bros is an outstanding organization! I had bought a doublewide in which the electrical work can be fairly tricky. In fact I had called other places previously, no one answered, and they never returned my call. The previous owners had done all sorts of funky stuff, a crazy looking breaker box, outlets with masses of wires hanging out of them, no way to access the junction boxes without cutting a hole in the ceiling. It wasn't a problem for Parker Bros at all. They came out quick, handled it all within two hours, and the fee was extremely reasonable. When there was a follow up issue they came right back out and fixed it in no time. In a world filled to the brim with swindlers and scammers it was really nice to work with people as professional, reasonable, and effective as the Parker Bros. We had a new build and with all good things come some "tweaking" and challenges. We have learned that not all LED fixtures are created equal, smart switches aren't as dumb as you think, neutrals are important, outlet holes and drywall don't always play nicely, and so many other things that these professionals have helped us learn the "easy" way. On top of this knowledge base that Parker Bros. has, they brought strong work ethic, we made some changes, adding exterior lights, changing layouts, and even replacing/reinstalling fixtures. Without skipping a beat they pull out a shovel or climb a ladder to get the job done. My experience in the past has not always been so positive with other companies saying "you need to do this or that, we will just connect the power", but not these guys! The latest positive thing has been that my wife came to me and said, "I think there is something wrong with the generator, it's running and we had a power surge." Well our power did "surge", the whole neighborhood went down, but our generator was set up for nearly no delay and it worked like a champ. So here I am, writing a review in generator power with only one worry, "how much does gas power cost?". I am a satisfied customer. read more

My smoke detectors have been beeping even after battery changes. I had another handyman come take a look but he was not a certified electrician so he did not feel qualified to assess the problem. I tried a different professional matching service that never showed up. (Do not recommend that process BTW unreliable or professional.) They came today, called half hour before they came as promised. Marshall and his partner (forgot his name sorry!) were both very professional, nice and fast.
