Tony and Alfonso helped install a ring floodlight that we wanted almost 20 ft high and were incredibly helpful, creative and flexible in finding a way to meet my vision. We had received estimates from a couple other of the big store companies and they were not as competitive nor were they even able to accomplish the original ask due to the position of where we wanted it installed. We were so impressed. the guys were personable and on time, and manged to complete the instal in an hour. They also helped us fix a ring doorbell that had too short of wires and did a thorough job at finding alternatives for us to trouble shoot issues related to that. You'll pay over $200 even if they fix nothing. I hired Black Sheep Electric to fix a tripping breaker issue. The electrician completely misdiagnosed the problem, claiming not enough current was coming into the condo unit. They told me I needed to contact Seattle City Light for a resolution. It turned out the voltage coming in was exactly right, condo/apartment buildings usually have lower voltage than homes yet this professional electrician somehow didn't know this. They also replaced the breaker but the new breaker was tripping again later the same day. I objected to being charged for a new breaker that didn't fix the issue so they told me they'd refund it if they could take back their new one and put the old one back in, I agreed. Then they tried to bill me for this return visit that they insisted on making! They did reverse that charge after I wrote in to complain. I still had to pay over $200 for the initial visit that solved absolutely nothing. This is a far cry from the getting the job done right the first time you'd expect from highly paid professionals. Do yourself a favor and find an electrician that only charges if they can fix your issue! read more

I got a Gen 3 Tesla Wall Connector installed on 7/10/2020. These guys made everything really simple. I used their online tool to submit my request to them. Was in touch with Aaron and Ryan throughout the process. After I got the quote, I scheduled a date using their online bid system. The technicians Tony & Ian, showed up on the day of (in masks) and were in and out in a couple of hours. Everyone in their company I spoke with was very nice and still to the point. The techs mentioned they had installed a few chargers before, and also were kind of enough asked me if I had a preference for where I wanted it mounted. I got a receipt from Toni within minutes. We hired Black Sheep Electric to replace our old 1977 electrical panel. We have used Black Sheep Electrical for some other projects, and they have always been on time, on budget, extremely experienced and professional, and just really good people. Their estimate for replacing the panel was literally one half of the estimates we got from other companies. Tony and Kaleb came out to do the job, and they were absolutely great. Tony is a perfectionist, and at every step of the project he made sure that everything was done right. Kaleb worked in sync with Tony and together they were an awesome tandem. Even though we had some challenging aspects of our 1977 house, Tony and Kaleb were able to quickly work through those challenges, and they finished the project in one day. We needed to have 4 bathroom ceiling fans, and a bathroom lighting fixture replaced throughout the house. Ian can out and did an excellent job. He was very courteous, professional and capable. They didn't try to upsell me to a new panel, they were very responsive (I mostly talked with Tiffany for scheduling), and everyone I interacted with was respectful (not always the case when contractors work with women). I have used them multiple times now. AC outlet installation, new outlets and security cameras. Among the three companies I have used, these guys know exactly what they are doing and have a much better understanding of the local code. Their price is very reasonable. In my case they also took time to find a way to do the work without needing drywall repairs. Don't want to ding a star for this but scheduling is not as easy with them as others. You have to use the online website, I could never get an actual person on the phone. So I have never been able to get them to come for an urgent call. We bought a new house last year and needed several things done: * Upgrade an existing circuit for EV charging so that the wiring is rated properly for the outlet * Add another circuit for EV charging * Add outlets in the kitchen * Add circuit and outlets to bathrooms for washlet (bidet) power * Upgrade circuit for kitchen range They were (and probably still are) extremely busy but they still found the time to come by to give an estimate for the kitchen range, which was urgent since we had a new one being delivered. And they were able to upgrade it as needed before the range came. Outstanding work scheduling that and getting it done while they were super busy. And they came back not too long after that for the rest of the work. The crew was professional, friendly, and definitely went above and beyond getting the job done - they ended up rewiring a lot of the breaker box because it was in bad condition, and even replaced a whole bunch of breakers. They ended up working a bit later than anticipated, but I was happy to have them do so since they were working really hard to leave the breaker box in a much better state than how they found it. They also scheduled inspection after the work was done, and that inspection was shockingly quick (pun intended) and it passed, with the inspector also remarking that they did good work. I was in a time crunch (house going on market soon) and they were the only place that had availability soon and visible online. Aaron contacted me to confirm if the one hour appointment I scheduled would be enough time for the tasks needed. There were two electricians that arrived, Kameron and I can't recall the other's name but he was tall enough not to use a ladder when replacing the ceiling smoke/carbon monoxide detector. They kept me in loop about their arrival time through texts as I had requested since I had to meet them there. Both had masks on. They got all work completed in an hour, including waiting for us to bring a new fixture to replace. This is after they gave us several options after discovering the original fixture was broken (terrible track lights). They even cleaned up after too (brought a vacuum). It leaves one hanging for days not knowing whether to call someone else or not. It's just common decency, not to mention professionalism. Reply to Ryan: I did not leave a message. I spoke directly to Tiffany by phone and then made a follow up email a few days later when I did not hear back. She did leave me a message yesterday, but still had not asked you about my question. The *next day*, 2 professional and skilled electricians showed up promptly at the scheduled time. They made quick work of the job (upgrading a 3-prong dryer outlet to 4-prong). There was needful drywall removal, but they did it in such a manner that it was easy to repair. Their pricing was very reasonable (lower than other quotes I was offered).
