In August , I toured the place to send my toddler to. I decided to send my daughter there and asked them for two discovery days before I enroll and they accepted. Next week, we had a sudden trip so I had to push the start date later. By the time we got back in town, the new Delta variant was roaring so I asked them to postpone our start date. They chose to use my information from enrollment packet and charge me $170 for two hours of discovery! When I complained and asked for management, they gave me an email address. Upon following up, I only heard once they're going to get back to me and radio silence afterwards. My concern more than the unjust money is their attitude in trying to nickel and dime people as well as no one being responsive to parents inquiries. This whole situation and their attitude in stealing my money clarified to me their priorities. My girl is never going there! read more

When we enrolled our daughter in 2021 we were so excited to join the Parker Chase family. We chose this preschool over others because of it's NAEYC accreditation. Unfortunately, our last few months at Parker Chase were absolutely appalling. Staff turnover was constant and MULTIPLE teachers who had been at the school for many years decided to leave as well. Communication was extremely poor. When a teacher would quit/be separated from my child's class, I only heard through other parents. No formal communication from the school or its leadership. Updates in my daughter's ProCare app were almost nonexistent. Another parent and I attempted to partner with the Endeavor School's senior leadership to raise our concerns and understand what the go forward plan was for our kid's classroom. When asked, there didn't seem to be any type of long-term plan. We decided at the beginning of this month to withdraw our daughter and enroll her in another preschool. At least 6 families have also followed suit. I can't imagine they keep their NAEYC accreditation. read more

If you had asked me last year, I would have rated this school a 5, but there has been quite a lot that has changed in the past few months with the introduction of a new School Leader (Preschool Director). It was hard to determine if the changes were part of growing pains or a decline in the quality of the school. In the end, we decided for ourselves that it was a significant decline with no hope for improvement. Most all of the teachers of color were edged out and the professionalism and communication nonexistent. Children were grouped together across several age ranges like cattle and many changes were made to the classroom, schedule, and/or routine, without notifiying parents. When asking about the changes and what we can expect for stability, the answers received were unapologetic and unrelated to the questions asked. If you are searching for a new preschool, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The cost of the program in relation to the negative quality received will be disappointing. read more

When signing up our daughter a little over a year ago we were excited to have found a great school for her. However at the end 2022, the director left and the new director went in a direction that created confusion and distress. We decided a month ago to take our kids and find another school. It was fairly disappointing to hear a so called professional speak so poorly of the teachers that took care of our daughter for the time she was there. It was also concerning that there was no stability in who the teachers were and where our daughter would be at a certain time of day. I would in no way recommend the school under this leadership. read more

I am a teacher at this faculty. I have been there for almost two years. Ms Thristina and Ms Eryana are the best bosses. We had a director Ms. Michelle she left to be with family. We haven't had to shut down or close. We have the best teachers, kids, and parents. This is the best place that I have ever worked. They put us first and keep us safe and make sure that we have what we need. They are always there to chat if you need anything. The kids are so loving and come from amazing families. During this time it has been hard to see my parents, but we communicate all the time. You have co teachers, so you have a supporter in the room with you for support. I highly recommend this place for families or people to work. read more

THE BEST PRESCHOOL IN PLANO! My son started at Parker-Chase just about a year ago and I could not be happier with the level of attention, love and support he has received since day one. We began in the Toddler One class with Ms. Sara and knew instantly that this was the school for us. We have since moved to the Toddler Two class with Ms. Kaylan and Ms. Emily and our experience has been absolutely fantastic. Here are just a few things I like about Parker-Chase: 1. It is a NAEYC accredited preschool with a strong focus on education. 2. The Director, Ms. Sherry is a wonderful person with great integrity who truly cares for her students and their families. 3. THE TEACHERS! They are energetic, educated and loving. They know what they are doing and are not afraid to crawl around on the floor with their students if it means inspiring their natural creativity and curiosity. 4. They have an in-house chef that prepares daily nutritious meals for the kids (no chicken fingers and french fries). 5. I am constantly running out of room on my fridge because my son works on an art project just about every day. *Plus, every Friday the whole school gets together to sing songs and discuss what they have learned for the week. I'd like to take a second to address the three other reviews posted on this site. I can honestly say that I wholeheartedly disagree with what they posted and would venture to say that every single other parent I have ever met at Parker-Chase would disagree as well. In fact, many of the other parents I've talked to at Parker-Chase have been there for years and would never consider sending their children anywhere else. Just this month, a Parker-Chase mom who was featured in this month's edition of Dallas Child Magazine stated she also considers Parker-Chase to be "the best preschool in Plano". As a mother, I would like to challenge any other mother who is looking for a GREAT preschool in the area to come and visit Parker-Chase. Nothing but great experiences here at Parker Chase for my 2 wonderful children who went all the way from the baby room though Pre-K. Every teacher was always engaged in their activities and growth as well as creating a relationship that felt like family from start to finish. My son has been here since he was 7 weeks old. He's 10 months now & has just moved from Infant 1 to Infant 2. The teachers in both classes seriously LOVE the babies so much. They work together & have extra staff step in when they need an extra pair of eyes or hands. I have never left my children with anyone where I have felt complete peace of mind, but I have complete faith and trust in the staff at Parker Chase. My son is loved & nurtured, exposed to music, crafts, activities & food that he would not be even if I were a SAHM, & he is thriving - socially, physically & emotionally. I'm even updated with pics of my son from the teachers when they have the time to do so! One of my favorite perks is the meal plan & I've included a photo of this week's menu - well balanced & nutritious - they have a full time chef on staff! We currently have our second child at Parker Chase and our kids have been attending for a total of 8 years! We have been so pleased with the teachers and leadership at PC. I remember visiting preschools when I was pregnant with my first child and it was so hard knowing I was going to have to leave my baby with strangers when I went back to work. I even broke into tears after visiting the first school. But Parker Chase felt different from the moment we walked in. I was vetting schools with my Mom, a retired elementary school principal, and after spending 20 minutes with Sherry Hall, we knew this was the place. My family moved to Allen when my second child was 6 months old and because the drive across to Plano seemed too long, we switched our kiddos to a preschool in Allen. We lasted a month! Deciding to bring my kids back to Parker Chase felt right and we haven't regretted it once. We now drive 20 minutes each way every day, even though our oldest child is in an elementary school in Allen. One of the things I have noticed most about the teachers at Parker Chase is that they are not afraid to try messy activities! Over the years, our kids have painted with shaving cream, colored ice cubes, and all kinds of other food! They have participated in all kinds of messy and fun outdoor activities as well. My kids have loved every minute of it! And I believe those kinds of things teach kids to be creative, out-of-the-box thinkers. My oldest child went to elementary school totally ready for kindergarten and already knowing how to work well with other classmates in group projects. I can't say enough about what this school has meant to our family. Our second child is entering her last year at Parker Chase and I know there will be tears (mine, mostly!) when it is time to move on. read more

I wish that I was able to give 6 stars out of 5. Parker chase is truly top notch. Our daughter has just finished her 5th year, which truly was a sad day. She begs me to go visit sherry and all of her old teachers when we pick up our son who is two. We are thankful that he has 3 years left. The staff at Parker chase has been more like a family to us than a daycare. In 5 years we have only had one minor issue that we sat down with sherry and it was addressed the next morning. I highly recommend visiting and checking it out for yourself. Shopping for a daycare online is a start but do yourself the favor of visiting and meeting the staff. After all your children will be going there. For five years we have seen the same smiling faces with very little change. We have watched children grow up with our son and daughter including some of the teachers own children. It speaks volumes to me that the teachers have been there so long and some chose to have their own kids go there. Parker chase may not be for everyone, but it sure is home for us. again looking online is a good start but remember most people online feel that they have an axe to grind. Go visit the school and see the happy and smiling people that intrust their families to the staff and teachers day in and day out. read more

From day one when my son entered Mrs. Michelle's class he was welcomed with open arms and has enjoyed each and every day since. From the initial early mornings working with Mrs. Eileen where he has become her morning helper throughout his fun busy day with his other teachers. It's not easy being away from your child so many hours a week but seeing just how loved he is at Parker Chase is special to me. He doesn't have much family but when he walks through the doors at Parker Chase that all changes. He instantly has that love, tenderness and caring which, I have the Parker Chase family to thank for that. The activities you plan, the dynamic way you deliver lessons and encourage participation, the room you decorate, the friendships you help foster-- it's all astonishing and simply amazing, and it's helping my son understand that school is fun, which is extremely important. The teachers at Parker-Chase are knowledgeable, patient, enthusiastic and kind. They manage all this in the face of students who often don't want to be taught, have fragile emotions or are simply just being a kid. Thank you for your hard work and the sacrifices that you make, not because you're looking for accolades, but because you simply love teaching. Parker - Chase is the most amazing place for your child. My son has gone here since he was 8 weeks old and he is almost 10 months now, the Infant I teachers are WONDERFUL and the Infant II teachers whom I have met are just as amazing! I was terrified when I was looking around at childcare at the thought of leaving my baby with someone else but when I walked into Parker-Chase I just KNEW this place was wonderful! The director, the teachers, the staff are all so professional and are truly there for the children. In an earlier review it said that the Infant I teachers were overwhelmed by the teacher: baby ratio... since my being there in 10 months I have NEVER experienced that! They are so enthusiastic and always attentive to each child! I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that this is the BEST daycare for any child, I looked at several in the area and NOTHING even comes close to Parker Chase. When I first signed up my daughter, I was delighted about this school. They have good/nutritious meals for the kids, time to play outside (weather permitting), and the teachers/staff were friendly. The director changed a few weeks after I signed my child up and I never received any kind of notice about this. This seemed odd to me. Once the director changed, things started to go wrong. My daughter came home one weekend with a diaper rash. I figured, okay... no big deal, right... this happens. The problem was that it happened again only a few weeks later. I also had a problem where the teachers were not wiping her clean when changing her, and she would have stuff left on her behind. I wrote an email to the director and about 2 weeks later she told me she talked to the staff. Yes, the staff talked to me about my issue, but my problem with everything was that I never received a phone call or a response to my email from the director. AND I waited for her to talk with me until 2 weeks later? This is my baby we are talking about! Not acceptable. The last straw was yet ANOTHER diaper rash. This time it was so bad that my daughter would scream and cry when anyone would touch her or when she would sit. Prior to this daycare my daughter had 1 diaper rash in 9 months. When we got here, she had 3 within 10 weeks. UNACCEPTABLE! I do NOT recommend this place. read more

My son went here for about 6 months until February 2015. He was kicked out for spitting. We were told of the issue on a Thursday and he was kicked out on the following Tuesday morning. Rather than waiting to tell my wife face to face, the director called my wife over the phone, which is very unprofessional on the director's part. My son is 2 1/2 years old and spitting is normal for toddlers. I think the school could of worked with him a a little longer since they are NAEYC accredited and all. I have since filed a complaint with NAEYC for the school giving up on my child. We were told that younger kids moved up into his class recently and that's when the spitting began. We were also told that all the kids were spitting, however my son was the only one to spit in the director's face. The teacher's son was also placed in the class and I think many of the kids were acting out because her son was getting more attention. Anyways, the place is very nice, but I do not believe it is ran properly and I believe my son was kicked out more because the director had someone ready to fill his seat and not for spitting. read more

My child has been here since 3 months old and I will say that their Infant 2, Toddler 1 and Toddler 2 classes are amazing! Their teachers are fantastic and my child has loved it so far. I will have to say though, STAY AWAY from their Infant 1 class. We had the worst experience here. The teachers are overwhelmed with the 4:1 ratio. The class is overcrowded and the teachers don't have it under control. There are always babies unattended for and crying there. I would definitely make sure no child of mine ever has to go through that again. read more

First off, I just want to say that it is a school where they actually have a curriculum for children. I do like the teachers and they work with the children, but it is the behind the scene activity that I think could use the improvement and therefore I am giving it 1 start. The director on more than one occasion while my child went there had said employees should be fired. This is very unprofessional and something that should not be said to a parent. I think all of those matters should stay internal. You never want to hear that the caretaker of your child should be canned. Also, second of all they switch teachers and there is no consistency. They also claim all teachers have degrees. That may be true. Maybe they have associate degrees from the local college. Bottom line, it needs better management. read more

There is high teacher turnover--my daughter had a teacher for less than 3 weeks! She was very upset when her teacher wasn't there anymore. Also, the teachers are allowed to have their own children in their classes, so their child might get special attention and yours will get less. I find communication in the center lacking. read more

We have been here about a year now and couldn't be happier. The time, care and attention the staff devote to our kids is exceptional. I love all of our teachers we have had and they have done a great job helping us work through any behavior challenges along the way. They are very supportive of our family and our individual needs for our son. I know they are teaching my child well and encouraging him to grow each week through their variety of lesson plans. Everyone told me this when we first researched this school but it really does feel like a big family. We highly recommend! read more

I have sent both my children through Parker Chase, something which is common at this school. Families attend Parker Chase - not just a child. Moving from out of state, it was important for me to find a daycare/preschool that was NAEYC accredited, and Parker Chase is one of the few schools in the area that goes through this rigorous accreditation process (with continuous evaluations). This school isn't for everyone. It IS for parents that care about creative play more than technology. A home-like and caring environment over rigid systems. Teachers that take time to speak with you about your child's day over numerous daily and weekly printed evaluations. My child went into kindergarten knowing how to read, but most importantly, he started elementary school with a true LOVE of learning. Parker Chase provides a great curriculum for children, but the focus is always on their emotional development and ensuring that learning - whether it be a science, reading or life lesson on the play ground, is done in a caring environment. They care that your child is happy, honest, respectful more than a top reader. Not all parents share that prioritization, but for those that do, this is a school where like minded families and teachers encourage one another and cheer on children to enjoy learning and being the best person they can be. My daughter has been attending here for about a year and a half and loves it! The teachers she's had thus far have all been so caring, nurturing, and engaging. She is really thriving here due to the positive environment, age appropriate activities, and amazing teachers. Ms. Sherry is a great director who not only has the business side of the center covered, but she also takes the time to get to know each of the children and their families well. My daughter has been at Parker Chase Plano for over a year. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The curriculum is amazing, lots of activities, artwork and outdoor fun. She started in infant 2 and has since moved through toddler 1 and 2. She loves this school, and sometimes gets upset on weekends when there is no school! The staff are extremely professional and helpful. They are genuinely passionate about children and their development. There is a reason that their staff turnover is low, the teachers like working here. And happy teachers = happy school = happy kids. As an example, we had an issue with our daughter becoming aggressive to the other children, but the teachers were right onto it. They worked with us to help her learn other techniques to vent her frustrations. Together we formulated a plan to try role playing with her, and the behavior stopped within days. I cannot tell you how good they were in helping us through a difficult period with our child. They are always communicating with us about our daughter's day, her development and include us in working solutions when needed. With my child at this school I am happy to go to work, confident that she is happy, well cared for, and that I will be informed always, and included when needed. read more

I worked for Parker Chase Plano for over seven years and honestly the only reason I left was to seek personal adventure so I moved to Colorado. I have worked with different schools and had overall about 20 years experience with children and parents. Parker Chase staffs amazing teachers that have a passion about educating, nurturing and loving children. But their job does not stop there. They also care about educating parents on proper nutrition, communication, discipline and education for their children. It is a real community that has sparked many friendships and relationships built to last. Yes there are changes that occur in a school, especially staff changes. But the administration and teachers always have the kids' best interest in mind. I love this school!!! If I actually had children of my own there is no doubt that they would attend here. My experience at Parker Chase made me a wiser and more caring human being. I cannot put a price on what I learned there or the love I was shown. I have two children attending the Parker Chase in Carrollton. I have been very pleased with the school. They have an age appropriate lesson plan for each classroom that includes art, songs, what books they will be reading, and a sensory activity. They do a great job exposing kids to different activities and are not afraid to let them get messy. My son (3) loves to visit the garden where the kids get to help plant and pick vegetables. They get plenty of free play outside (with some shade) to explore, run, and play. The preschool teachers do an excellent job of communicating the lesson for the upcoming week and what developmental steps each activity will be working on. I have found the majority of the staff are very patient and caring. Our best experiences have been with the infant 2, toddler 2, and lower preschool classes. The staff does an great job teaching the kids in a loving supportive environment. read more
