Greta neighborhood coffee shop. They use holy kakow syrups which are organic, local to Portland, and taste AMAZING. the staff are kind. Prices are a little high. Seating inside is cozy.

Outdoor patio area with lots of room to play and space to find a covered seating spot, chairs or picnic tables.

Amazing local spot near the Portland airport. Coffee is tasty and it's a great spot for young kids! They have an inside kids kitchen area as well as a large back patio with a little play set in some bark and concrete area with lots of little bikes and trikes. Kids can play with chalk that is provided too! Lots of picnic tables with umbrellas and covered seating outside. Visiting from out of town with a 6 and 3 year old. We happened to find the place near our hotel and went 2 days in a row before adventuring off in the city. Staff was super friendly! Will come back here whenever we're in the PDX / airport area for sure!

When the news broke in our local community Facebook group of a new coffee shop opening nearby, I viewed it as (another) sign of positive change in Parkrose. Every since moving here five years ago, I've been paying keen attention to this neighborhood's transformation; with a few outliers, most of it has been positive, and proof that things are headed, for the most part, in the right direction. Despite being shut out on opening day due to crazy long lines and wait times, I returned a week later to grab an iced matcha and a croissant for my wife, while out running errands, and I was pleased to confirm that my initial suspicions were correct: this place is great, and a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! Fantastic beverages, excellent pastries, warm and friendly (if a little green) service, and a literal stone's throw away from our house - no more driving over to 122nd to grab her a coffee on the weekends, when Barista Brew is closed! With plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor, including a surprisingly large patio/paved lot, perfect for seasonal events, when the weather cooperates), a small play place for the littles, and all the perks (get it?!) mentioned above, Parkrose Coffee Shop is everything this neglected part of Portland needs more of, and more! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Cute little coffee shop with lots of stuff for small children. This would be a great place for a mom meet up and have kids play outside or they have a cut setup inside with books, and little play kitchen and tables. I ordered a lavender iced latte and it wasn't very good. Kind of bummed me out when I was driving away but I was on my way out of town and needed coffww. I'm sure they make up for it with other items but this missed the mark for me.

Sweet little spot for coffee and pastries. I love the mix of art on the walls. Nice vibe!

I'm so happy that there is a walkable coffee shop in Parkrose now! The coffee is amazing. The owner Lily is very friendly and kind. We've gone here 3 times and we will continue to be regulars. There's lots of outdoor seating and indoor seating inside. My favorite drinks I've tried are the Parkrose Latte and The Bronco

This is one of my favorite coffee spots. Owner is spectacular and the entire staff is extremely friendly. Can't go wrong with their baked goods and atmosphere. Dog friendly! Kid-friendly!

    So cute inside

Love our new neighborhood coffee shop! Right down the street and went for their soft opening. The coffee is amazing and smooth! So good. Many assorted pasteries and we tried several. The croissants were super flakey, the coffee cake was super moist and they have the cutest personalized shortbread cookies! Kid friendly, clean with lots of outdoor seating in their courtyard in back. We absolutely love this place. Come and support our hood's local business! The service given and the owners are wonderful!

After drooling over their Instagram, I knew I had to go. To my dismay I arrived at something that…read moredidn't look like it was a cafe or even opened. I wasn't even sure I was at the right place, thought they were still transitioning from one location to another. Until someone who shared the kitchen popped out. I was told that I should order online and come by for pick up, and was strongly urged to do so because these cheesecakes were really good. When I saw that they were doing a contactless store front, I knew I had to go. This was my opportunity to try it. I texted the owner to ask if the flavor I had my eye on was available. I was halfway there before the owner responded that they had one slice of pandan cheesecake left. There are multiple forms of payment with a card reader, and various apps to pay with online which made this a breeze. The owner Kiana, even popped to introduce herself which I thought was so nice! The flavors here aren't your typical strawberry, chocolate, peanut butter cheesecakes, even though she does offer some variation of them. There's pandan, ube, lemongrass, ginger mango, passionfruit, matcha, guava, pineapple raspberry, and I heard she even cooks up something with the pickle brine from the other business that operates in that kitchen. I thought this would be one of those situations where the food won't look like the picture. The pictures are obviously styled, they look stunning. Nope! The food looked just like what was on Instagram. I am a long time lover of cheesecake, dare I say it's my favorite of the cakes. The condensed milk ube mirror glaze was a lot thicker than I thought it would be and held its form. It wasn't runny and goopy. Loved that it wasn't a sticky mess. The crust was very very thick, I've always wanted more crust on other cheesecakes. On the description, it says it's "jasmine scented almond shortbread cookie crust" slightly saltier than most crusts I've had, but still very enjoyable. I've only had the traditional graham cracker crust and I'm afraid this almond shortbread crust has ruined all other cheesecake crusts for me. I have been disappointed at a lot of places using pandan, because the flavor just wasn't there, not Muse cheesecakes though. Pandan was present indeed. I would have loved if it was a little stronger, but I think that would have overpowered the cheesecake. Each component of the cheesecake are so different and complex on its own. They come together in delicious harmony to make this beautiful slice. I grew up with a lot of Vietnamese food and pandan has a very special place in my stomach.. heart! I've never seen jasmine used outside of tea and condensed milk outside of Vietnamese iced coffee. Kiana definitely has a way with these ingredients and she's a cheesecake goddess! I really can't wait to try the calamansi, Ube, and whatever else is getting cooked up in this delicious kitchen.

Durian cheesecake!!!! I am Vietnamese-Cambodian and durian is my jam. I love its pungent goodness in all forms -- pure and un-doctored straight from the prickly shell, ice cream, smoothie, topping on mashed avocado dessert and now.. CHEESECAKE! ohhh my goodness. My heart. I have returned so many times and buying extra slices (possibly buying out her supply for the week...) to share with my family and friends, who have all raved about the cheesecake from here. Durian isn't her only flavor though. She has so many creative flavors and I've noticed she's had comfort flavors from different cultures. To top it off, the owner, Kiana, is a wonderful lady. She is a one woman team and is kicking butt at her game from what I've gathered in the short time I've known her. She could be dead tired, but always has a smile on her face. I almost forgot to rave about her TARO BURGER on a vegan bun. I don't know how frequently she makes them, but if you see it being offered, do yourself a favor and get it. The portion is quite large so be prepared for leftovers. Unfortunately for me, my carnivorous sister gobbled the other portion of my burger right up and didn't even miss her meat. It comes with a vegan mac salad on the side. I am not one to enjoy mac salads usually, I think it's due to the mayo (not a mayo fan), but I actually liked this version. I forgot to take a picture of the burger before it all got inhaled. Sad face.

But let's talk about their quiche. We got the corn pepper quiche and it was one of the best quiche I have had in awhile. Similar in texture to quiche from Coyles in Seattle but the floor was so good. Pie crust is buttery without being greasy. We also had the tomato dill purse which my partner loved - dill forward but you could taste the used a farmers market tomato. Pie wise we got the ginger plum streusel, whiskey peach and Marionberry. All delicious but Marionberry was the standout. I particularly recommend their chocolate, strawberry shortcake, and key lime pies. S'mores is also a solid choice. All of their pies have a great crust: flakey, thick, and excellent when dipped in coffee. I wasn't fond of the whiskey peach because it had a strong whiskey flavor, but this pie would be great for whiskey-lovers. Although the prices are pretty high, the pies are so good, and they are definitely worth trying! All of the workers are very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has plenty of seating. It can be hard to find free parking nearby, so I recommend parking in an adjacent neighborhood if you can find a spot.
