Kiss coffee is an adorable little coffee shop located in a neighborhood, it was only a couple blocks' walk from where I was staying. They have a walk-up window to order and you can sit in the small indoor space or the couple of tables outside, or take it to-go. Service was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I ordered a cinnamon latte and the bagel breakfast sandwich, both were absolutely incredible and 10/10. If I lived in this neighborhood I would be here all the time! read more

Great neighborhood coffee spot, they do close early tho at 1-2 pm. They've got some outdoor tables when the weathers nice and tho the inside is a bit sparse for seating they still have some tables and outlets for computer work. Lovely latte gem in NE and near the new U of O campus (Concordia ). Also, Mon - Fri at the campus library they have kiss, coffee, check the business hours. It's a lovely campus and overall woodsy area walking around with my dog. I haven't had any of the food yet, but the latte hit the spot per usual I have no complaints. Definitely a hidden little treasure! I've visited Kiss Coffee twice now and really enjoy the calmness and welcoming environment this shop has. They have a little ordering window on the outside of the shop and an indoor seating area to enjoy your treats. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was pretty good. It has a creamy chipotle sauce which I've never had in a breakfast burrito! Although I wish I would have tried a sandwich because my neighbors sandwich looked delish. Coffee is also good! I really enjoyed my vanilla bean latte on my first visit but it lacked some sweetness on the second visit.. so I guess it just depends on the barista! Overall cute place to sit and work. read more

I LOVE this spot. Great food, coffee, and service. And they're located in the cutest neighborhood! You can walk up to their outdoor stand to order from one of their employees, and choose to dine inside or outside. The inside area is smaller, but definitely not bad for a quick breakfast. They have a few larger tables with shade covers outside as well. Definitely recommend stopping here for some morning fuel if you're in the area. cuuuuuuuuuuuuuute! Kiss Coffee is just as adorable as it sounds. Right off 30th and Ainsworth, it's in a fairly residential area and as such it feels perfectly homey. Right now ( Thanks, COVID) they serve directly from a makeshift counter at their front door, but honestly I loved the setup. With all of the lush foliage spilling over the rooftop, it was charming AF, like a cute little coffee cottage. I adored it. Most importantly, our coffees were great. Yes, we just got two iced coffees, but they really hit the spot and had the perfect level of acidity. I drink a LOT of coffee and am probably slowly giving myself an ulcer, but this was smooth and easy drinking and I loved it. If you want to drink something a bit more adventurous, they have you covered. They serve a good number of seasonal and handmade syrups and have you covered for all of your more fancy coffee drink needs. When we went, we learned that they were participating in some sort of "pay it forward" coffee exchange. That definitely goes in line with the good vibes I got off of this shop and the owners. A very sweet, homey little mom-and-pop operation located in the middle of a sleepy neighborhood. The building is shared with an art gallery that I look forward to checking out once quarantine is over. I'm pretty sure I saw it written somewhere that their name "KISS" was supposed to stand for something like "Keep It Sweet and Simple", and I couldn't think of a better way to describe the place. The word "simple" might have a negative connotation to some, but certainly not to me. As an artist, I believe that there is always intricacy to be found in simplicity, and this place is no exception. I really hope this doesn't come off as a backhanded compliment, because it is legitimately a huge plus for me. They aren't trying to be super over-the-top, pretentious, and "artisanal" like a lot of the other coffee shops you see in Portland, and there's something sincere about that that resonated with me and made me come back. It's not that their coffee isn't made from quality ingredients, because it most certainly was (the coffee was amazing, actually) -- I just appreciated that the place didn't seem to "put on airs" like a lot of other places. I had a mediocre latte from this establishment a few weeks ago, which typically I would rank 3 stars. Latte was too milky and could not even taste a hint of espresso. They did have a delicious sandwhich my wife wanted to get the other day. The one star off is because we wanted to order the sandwich and pick it up. When we realized there's no menu online and no phone anywhere. Impossible to place an order or call. I don't know how they're surviving in COVID. read more

My partner likes to get the PDX panini which is a delicious portabella veggie sandwich. This was my second time at this lovely little coffee shop. The first time I had the biscuits and mushroom gravy. The side of home fries were perfectly cooked. This time I tried the breakfast burrito. Flavor was great however the potatoes were undercooked and somewhat hard. This is what drops my rating to 4 stars instead of 5. Service was a 5 last time and this time as well.
