There are a few long termers, not a problem for us. No store on premise (I like to get a piece of memorabilia i.e. sticker, t-shirt from parks we visit) we ended up at Walmart in town to replenish some condiments. All in all a very nice welcoming park for us, we look forward to staying at many more times.

They appeared drunk and were singing/yelling to the lyrics. They played music so loud it could be heard through the entire park. They make lots of money renting golf cart which parents allow young children to use. While on a walking after dark we were almost run over by one of the delinquents who was driving with the lights off. They appeared to be having a water gun fights while each golf cart had about 12 kids riding in it. Contacted the office and the behavior continued, it appeared staff had no interest in correcting the problem. This behavior continued the next night and this time when I called staff would answer the phone. I've never been to a resort that if there's a problem, you're left on your own to handle. in my opinion, in the future I better off going to a state camp group where you pay significantly less. We called the office to explain respectfully that we needed to be either moved or we would have to cancel. The owner Karen met up with us and accommodated us and moved us into better spots in our opinion. It was a cheaper spot which we weren't expecting to get a refund but we did. Karen the owner and all the other ladies were very pleasant. Clean and peaceful campground. We will be returning. So long as we aren't next to people who are miserable.

Perched on a hill overlooking the town and the ocean, the park offers some wonderful views--if you're lucky with your site. You might get a beautiful view of the ocean and town, or you might be staring at the side of a neighboring trailer. When booking, you can choose between an ocean view, partial ocean view, or no ocean view--and you'll pay accordingly. Just a short walk to the beach and town. Many restaurants, antique shops, and places to grab a drink. And there is always the beautiful Cayucos dog-friendly beach waiting for you. A solid go-to for us when visiting the central coast.

If you have kids the game room and pool add value. Like other Sun Outdoor locations they operate the daily costs using a hotel reservation system. Laundry and store merchandise are fairly priced. The south mens restroom has one paper towel dispenser that is empty at times. There appears to be an office staff shortage so the Saturday hours are hit and miss, and there are no Sunday hours. Monday through Friday they are often open earlier than advertised and stay until closing.
