I had one chiropractic adjustment and 5 massages with this company. I paid out-of-pocket for each service. I made it clear. I did not want to use my insurance. However, my insurance got billed in addition to the out-of-pocket chiropractic adjustment, and my insurance paid them. I have now also received two bills asking me to pay AGAIN for two of the massages. All of my treatments were over a period of one month, six months ago. I have contacted this business on five different occasions, coming into their office with all of my receipts and asking for this to be sorted out. Every single time I've been promised that they would look into it and they would get back to me, however, I have not received a single phone call. I keep receiving bills, however. This company is a scam, do not deal with them. I am about to contact a lawyer over this, as I keep getting strong along over period of six months. Nobody will deal with this and fix the problem, and I keep getting told they will call me back. This is a horrible business model. Being a healthcare, professional myself, I find this absolutely unacceptable. Save yourself the headache, go somewhere else for your treatment. read more

The receptionist was pleasant and so was the doctor. His interaction with my friend was thorough and he answered her questions with answers that we could understand. My only complaint is parking. I've been seeing Aaron and his amazing staff for years. Originally, I was having issues with the right (dominant) side of my back near my shoulder blade. I thought it was sore muscles from overuse. It got so bad, it was hard to drive a vehicle. When I arrived for my apt, I explained to Dr. Aaron what was going on. Aaron took one look at my back and put his finger on the exact location of where my issues were coming from. Is that the spot? Yes! That's it! He explained that one of my ribs was out of place. I was amazed! I didn't fall or have any accident, thats why the diagnosis was perplexing. During the appointment, Aaron spent his time warming the area of concern and giving manual massage before popping the rib into place (it wasn't painful) seemed like a very small correction. Once the procedure was over I felt 80% better. Then over the next 24 hours I was out of pain. I've been seeing him and his amazing massage staff (Melissa has some amazing techniques for adhered muscles ((cupping and Gua sha)) for years. I'm so glad to have found a trusted Dr. and team. Aaron is, by far, one of the most warm, respectful and polite people I know. And the office is very modern clean and peaceful filled with plants and natural lighting... stunning fountain. The massages I received were very good. However making the appointments and getting my insurance sorted out was terrible! First appointment ever: took 3 phone calls to get the appointment (with the front desk people calling me twice about confusion on their part). The day before the appointment I receive a call saying it was cancelled. That same day before the appointment received a second call saying it "was back on". Day of the first appointment: turns out the they now don't take my insurance but wait to tell me after the fact. The receptionist said the massage was "on the house". Great. They then ask about a second appointment with one of their specialists that DOES take my insurance. So I make the appointment. Second appointment comes two weeks later. Again massage was great! I go to checkout and it turns out again there was some confusion and my insurance and it cannot be taken. So I pay full price for the massage and oh wait... they charge me for the first appointment too! WTF. This was all the same receptionist I was dealing with with all the calls and insurance talk just two weeks before. So I know she didn't just forget... she's incredibly unorganized. Three weeks later after paying full price for two massages that weren't covered by my insurance, my Cigna receipt comes in the mail... they ended up charging my insurance. One star and would not recommend all because of the receptionist and people running the front desk. Just terrible! read more

I decided to return to working in education so have been doing that for the past 2 years. Great customer service from the very first moment that I called in. I wanted to see what my insurance would cover for an adjustment, one of the staff took my information and told me she would get back to me when she finds out about my benefit eligibility. I received a call back the same day. After finding time to see my PCP and getting a referral, they had available appointment times within a couple days. I saw the newer associate at the practice, Dr. Dan Suppnick, D.C. He was easy to talk with and super friendly. He is articulate at explaining what's going on with your bones, joints, and muscles based on the information he gathered from the health history and chief compliant. I am always asked if I am comfort or doing alright. Very professional. When he works on the areas that are tender, it hurts in a good way. Okay, sometimes its painful when inflamed but its necessary overall. The first day that I walked out of the clinic after an adjustment, I seem to be walking more evenly and didn't feel like I was compensated as I did before. Initially, I was suppose to come twice a week but it didn't work out with my schedule and I ended up going weekly. My insurance had a hefty co-pay for the visits and they saved me some money by charging me a follow-up fee instead of billing my insurance--thank you for bringing that to my attention. I look forward to the weekly visits after a straining week at work. Its getting better now so I'll be coming every other week, I don't know if that is good or bad thing because the adjustments feel so awesome afterwards. read more

I am blown away by how rude and confrontational Cara, presumably the manager, was with me on the phone just now. I was returning a phone call I received from her earlier today in regards to scheduling an interview for a front desk position that I had allegedly submitted a resume for. I did NOT submit a resume to Parkside, or any other clinic for that matter. This is actually the second time she has called for the same reason. A few weeks ago I left a voicemail stating that I had not been sending resumes out recently and was curious about how she got mine, asking for her to call me back. No response...until today; and there didn't seem to be any acknowledgement of my previous message. Today, when I told her I hadn't submitted a resume, she immediately became defensive, like I was accusing her of wrong-doing. Sensing this, I said I was simply trying to solve a mystery, not accusing her of anything and was concerned about potential identity theft--even though that seemed unlikely in this situation. In an aggressive tone, she refused to give me any information, then condescendingly asked if I wanted an interview or not. I asked her why she was being so difficult and what if it was her that was suddenly getting phone calls about a job she never applied for, and she said "I have answered all that I'm going to, I cannot give out any information beyond that and am going to disconnect the phone call now--then hung up on me. WTF! What kind of "clinic" is this place? What shady/unethical hiring practices are leading the management to act so confrontational with people simply trying to find out if their personal information is being used without their consent? If they treated me this way...you gotta wonder how they treat their staff, or even clients! And now I guess I'll never know why this woman had my name and phone number to begin with. Never been to many chiropractic providers in my lifetime but Dr. Dan really fixed me up. Been dealing with lower back muscle tears for the better part of 3 months. Acupuncture and massage was helping but not really cutting it so I decided to make an appointment. Met with the chiro and talked about my symptoms. He did a couple gentle adjustments. Mind you- I've always had a fear of becoming paralyzed after going to the chiropractor (don't ask-- it's just me). So in writing this I will say I was fully prepared to be wheelchair bound after this first visit! Well.. not only was I not paralyzed, I actually had immediate pain relief-- pain that was bothering me for 2 months straight was gone in an instant. I remember walking around the rest of the day wondering when it would start hurting again-- it didn't...ever. Fast forward 3 weeks and 3-4 visits later and I'm still pain free. I recently flew off my bike and had some shoulder and back pain so I went to Dr. Dan Suppnick for help. He was very friendly, easy to talk to and seemed to authentically care about helping me. I only had to see him for a few visits, but after the first time I felt a significant difference. I will definitely be going back again if necessary. Having been to more chiropractors than I would like to admit, I have to say this is by far my favorite office. It's not just that the practitioners are so knowledgeable and effective, but the staff there are really well versed and so helpful. I also appreciate that all the people working there are warm and make you feel very comfortable. If you've never been to a chiropractor before and are hesitating because you're not sure if its the way to go, do yourself a favor and talk to the Doctors here. They'll answer all of your questions, never make you feel rushed, and are just plain honest and good people. Rates are very fair, and another thing I personally like a lot is that the Docs are all about the science of chiropractic - they really know their stuff in and out - no spiritual/tribal/shaman etc. stuff here. Just a few words specifically about Dr Aaron: He is awesome! So much knowledge, and yet he's really friendly and easy to talk to, which I find important with any practitioner. I came there for a problem with my back, and I quickly had my Xrays, and was getting adjusted. I like adjustments, but I have to say that some Chiros are really rough. Aaron's method is perfect because he really gets in there and manipulates you wherever needed big time, but he is at the same time gentle - minimizing the discomfort. I've seen Dan Suppnick at Parkside Chiropractic about 10 times in the last two months due to low back injuries/pain. His treatment, including stretching and exercise recommendations, has been very helpful in eliminating the pain and strengthening the general area. Dr. Suppnick comes across as caring and friendly, as well as committed to providing patients with quality healthcare. I've also been fortunate enough to receive two massages from Alexi and she's awesome. I've never had such therapeutic massages before -- they're both relaxing and helpful in working out pain/soreness/tightness in the effected areas. She applies just the right amount of pressure and is skilled in techniques I've never seen another massage therapist use. Finally, all of the women who work the front desk and phones are super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend seeing the staff at Parkside if you're experiencing any back issues. I recently went to see Alexi Hedlund at the Parkside Clinic for a massage to address some back and neck pain. My experience was a very good one. They were able to set up an appointment on the same day and accepted my health insurance as well. The office was clean, calm, and relaxing. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Alexi was professional, personable and provided me with some great advice, a few handouts of recommended stretches, and even walked me through a couple of specific stretches. Over the past several months, I have had several appointments with both chiropractors and most of the massage therapists. The whole office was amazing with scheduling and occasionally rescheduling, working with my insurance company, and providing referrals (attorney, acupuncture, etc.) as needed. Drs.
