Parkside Market is a staple... a hidden gem that is unknown outside the East County area. The market is a market with probably an over abundance of variety. The real nugget is in the back, beyond the narrow aisles is the Deli! My family has been grilling sausage coils from here for over 20 years. Uncle Gerry always had these since he lived string there corner, for every family gathering, from birthdays to super bowl parties! A nice addition in the pinch when the deli is closed you can still get some of the goods in the freezer section. Go to check it out.

Disrespect I asked for lettuce, onion tomato look what they slid me tho

a local staple here in Pittsburg, i started first coming here over 10 years ago, after a great day in Pittsburg High School. although i would go for chips, snacks and candies, this market also has a deli and also serves as a liquor store. ambiance stays busy, especially afternoons, after school

Turkey sandwich with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, onion, jalapeño and pickles all on a sesame french roll.

Great sandwiches with fresh ingredients and amazing service. This family greets everyone that walks up to their counter and treats them like family. Great value for a delicious sandwich with an amazing experience. This is the spot for great sandwiches.

I love/hate this place. First, hate? Because it's so damn far away from my hometown. Second, love? Because the sausages are that darn good. Happened to be passing by this area (still had to detour about 20 miles) but all we could think about was the sausages. Went in for some of their Italian Sausage. Now, we've gotten some of the spicy when it is SUPER spicy. This time it was just right spicy. AMAZING. It comes in a coil that the Mr cut up after he bbq'd it and my 13 year old even couldn't help himself & went back for a second piece. It will be a while before we have it again but it's like falling in love all over again each time. Def recommend.

I visited this store once a few years ago, so I do not remember much, but I never recalled them installing security gates at that time, so imagine my surprise when I found out they ended up installing security gates. The location in Antioch has them too. The layout is different than the other location too. The Pharmacy is at the front of the store next to the flowers, the Produce section is wide, the Butcher Counter is in the back, and there is even a Wells Fargo bank inside. The other location does not have that. I think my biggest problem is the fact that they don't announce when check stands are closing. I went to one in the Cosmetics section (which was in an enclosed area, similar to what Walmart does) as I needed to get something there. Since I was only getting a few things I decided to pay for them in the Cosmetics section. A customer in front of me told me this register was closing. I responded with "Okay, thanks!". And then I ended up going to Self Checkout. Now why didn't the person at the register told me they were closing? Anywho, I paid for my stuff, and left (after I scanned my receipt at the Checkstand). Nothing as bad as everyone else made it seem like, but it could have been better.

I was a big water spill near floral that employees just walked past constantly. I literally had to go find a worker to tell them to put cones out with signs! This store lacks common sense, customer service, good management and cashiers. Then not to mention the armed guards, good grief it's ruff here.

I saw that they had Hennessey on sale. So, you already know I had to get a bottle. This store has been around for years. When you live in Pittsburg you have limited options to get groceries. Foodsco is conveniently located midtown. They send out weekly ads and offer low prices. The only thing I dislike is that the variety is limited. I would much rather have lower prices then a huge variety and I am fine with that. In addition to groceries you can get other times. They have household goods, toiletries, etc. Let's not neglect the hot foods area. Fresh rotisserie chickens ready to eat. Potato wedges, fried chicken, wings and more! Yum. All served fresh and priced generously.

Welcome to Pittsburg where you can't bring in reusable grocery bags and pull them out of your purse because you will be accused of stealing from the security guard. While I was shopping on my own time minding my own business and bringing in reusable shopping bags because I refuse to use their nasty broke down carts or pay for cheap bags I was accused of stealing. I went to the manager and complained about it and they had an attitude like it was no big deal like I am supposed to just accept that I am being called a thief when I'm not. People of a different race is coming in that store with big backpacks, large oversize hoodies on 100 degrees day and I have a small purse and I am the one being accused of stealing. SMH, this security needs to go back to training with her ignorant self!

Having this location closer saves so much time and makes grocery shopping a lot more convenient. The store itself is clean, spacious, and very well organized. All of the items are properly stocked, clearly labeled, and easy to find, which makes the overall shopping experience stress-free, even during busy hours. They have an excellent seafood selection with a variety of fresh fish and shellfish to choose from, which is one of the main reasons I enjoy shopping here. Everything looks fresh and well maintained. In addition to seafood, they also carry a wide range of Filipino and Asian groceries, from pantry staples to snacks and frozen items, so it's easy to get everything you need in one trip. One of my favorite parts of the store is the hot food section. It's perfect when you're hungry and don't want to cook or make another stop.
