There's an outdoor restroom (2) and 2 porto potty as well. They're good for parties. They accommodated my sister in law for her daughter's birthday. There's lots of tables and chairs and benches. We had a big tent all to ourselves because no one else reserved. We had the tent for 2 hours and came 30 minutes to set up. There's lots of people but not crowded at all. You don't have to make reservation and just look for empty benches and set up there too if you'd like. You can bring your own drinks and food. There's lots of parking and their location is close to a lot of restaurants. It was very cold so I suggest to bundle up.

I have patronized other local skating rinks and have never been treated with such disrespect. I took a large group to the rink to in order to support my city and give my group an opportunity to experience an activity that many had never experienced. The overall experience was changed from positive to negative when one of the members in our group was told that she had two different sized skates and they would not return her shoes until she could produce the other set of mismatched skates. This person is very shy and unable to advocate for herself so I intervened. The manager and employee insisted that we must have the other pair of mismatched skates even after we checked and told them everyone else in our group had returned their skates. Then suggested this person sat by someone and they had put on the wrong size skate even though the person seated next to them was someone in our group. The manager and employee were unwilling to budge and demanded we pay for a new pair of skates ($125) if we could not produce the other mismatched skates. They were very rigid and unwilling to consider that they may have made a mistake when they gave out the skates. After about 30 minutes, I was finally able to locate another patron (they cleared the ice and asked people to approach counter if they wore that size shoe but I had to go around and ask total strangers) who also was mystified by the mix up. They never appologized or acknowledged the error. Because of this mix up we were late getting everyone to the next location where parents were waiting for their kids. My advice to you check the bottom of the skates before skating or risk paying for a new pair of skates. Tip for this owner don't always assume someone is trying to cheat you. Back in the day the customer was always right or at least given the benefit of the doubt.

My first experience with Tonya (Aspire Pilates) and the venue, Haramara was beyond my expectations…read more I've never been to this part of the Mexican Riviera and was quickly enchanted with this little piece of natural beauty, sea, flora, and fauna. My rest was peaceful and accommodations, while rustic, were in accord with the environment and in good working order. I chose the dormitory and had terrific dorm mates that are now my new continental friends! The staff was engaging and friendly. The cuisine was appealing, scrumptious, and nourishing. Fresh whole foods and meals were thoughtfully prepared and lacked nothing in taste - savory and delectable! The venue procures a cadre of wellness therapists from all over the world that provides an array of spa treatments at additional competitive costs. Tonya's daily pilates classes were nurturing and uplifting. Taking a walk around the center's ground could be a meditative or extreme aerobic experience depending on your energy level. The payoff for your efforts can be capped off by the sea or a long relaxing lounge at the infinity pool. Whether you are pilates veteran or novice, you will not be disappointed in this experience. It is yummy yummy healthy), getting stronger and really relaxing all at the same time. Only then. Tonya is amazing; I have never been able to say enough about what an amazing, warm, and brilliant person she is. There is no one better to teach Pilates and just generally show you how to get stronger while treating your body right. She can look at you and tell you if you are using the right muscles or not, and how to correct! The body awareness she's helped me develop is something I carry with me everywhere, even now that I live in Boston and attend classes in another studio. And it's completely true that the Pilates on this trip is appropriate for all levels. We had years-long students working out alongside first-timers, and the way Tonya tailors the exercises meant that everyone was getting challenged plenty. You could tell from the complaints. All good-natured of course! The retreat location is just like the other reviews say - beautiful beyond belief, and luxurious too! Yes the casitas are open air, but they are beautifully maintained too - it's not like a hiking hut or anything like that. Trust me - I'm not a camping girl and I loved this. I even came to love hearing our little gecko friends chirping as they wandered across our room at night! (Though I did keep my mosquito net closed so they wouldn't wander across my face.) After a week of twice daily pilates classes, excellent food, plenty of exercise hiking up and down the paths to our casitas and the spa (oh and don't even get me started on the top-quality massage therapists here!), I felt so thoroughly good. This retreat is an escape from all your daily stresses, a place to feel comfortable in your own skin and a way to get really healthy while still feeling only like a beautiful vacation. Thanks Tonya for setting the perfect tone!
