We had a great experience at Two Guys Pizza Pies! We ordered a cheese pizza and a BBQ chicken pizza through the Facebook menu. There was a small technology issue with the online ordering and when we arrived to pick up our pizzas, the staff hadn't prepared one pizza because they wanted to clarify a minor ingredient that could have been included or left off. They attempted to call me back several times but unfortunately my phone had no signal. Even though we had to wait about 15 extra minutes upon arriveal for pickup, I really appreciated that they took the time to confirm the order rather than making assumptions. That level of care is important especially for customers who may have food allergies or dietary restrictions. The customer service was excellent and the pizzas were absolutely delicious. Hard working and nice crew in the back, I like how you can see the team prepping and cooking and working hard. Our whole family and friends loved both the cheese and BBQ chicken pizzas. We stopped by after a long day of hiking Half Dome at Yosemite, and didn't want to wait for the Curry Village pizza :3 We ordered an XL Meat Combo pizza. The pizza was cooked quickly and tasted great. The amount of toppings was insane, but I loved it. The dining area is spacious and the outdoor seating is great. We were calling a bunch of restaurants in Groveland to check for egg allergy accommodations and Two Guys Pizza Pies confirmed none of their dishes contain egg! We ordered the 10 piece bread stix and a large Vegorama pizza over the phone for dine-in and were told it would be ready in about 20-25 minutes. We arrived around 1pm and it was not too busy. Our food was ready right on time! Someone in our group also ordered a single house salad from the salad bar. The bread sticks were perfectly soft and the pizza was delicious. It was loaded with vegetables and usually I don't pay much attention to the toppings but these were actually tasty and flavorful! The meal was very filling as well - we split the pizza amongst 4 and still had some slices leftover I appreciated how the ranch was complimentary - I ended up taking some to go because it complimented the bread sticks and pizza well, and the employee said he makes it from scratch daily which was great to hear. Overall, amazing food and service. We will definitely stop by again on our next trip to Yosemite read more

Ah one of the best veggie pizzas I've had and it's in Groveland, CA. I'm pleasantly surprised but also not, given the reviews. We got take out and it took about 30 mins for the pizza to be ready. Pick up was a little slower than I expected because there was only one counter to place orders and pick up your take out order, so it was hard to know if you need to stand in the same line (which was moving very slowly). While we did take out, it seemed like a nice place to eat in, charm of a wooden cabin. Food-wise, great pizza. Good ratio of toppings to dough, flavorful, not salty like pizza chains, and it even reheated well in the microwave. So good that I ate the last two slices for breakfast the next day! read more

I reached out to Two Guys Pizza Pies to inquire about bringing my 30-person wedding party here for a post-ceremony dinner and was connected with Jim, who I think is either the manager or owner of this establishment. He was very helpful in working with my budget and offered recommendations on what would be an appropriate amount of food for my party, as well as what items to get. I was able to customize everything to my liking and he was kind of enough to even over a sizable discount for my order to help fit it into my budget! Come day of, we were greeted by Jessica who was our main point of contact and she was AWESOME. She accommodated our every request, and constantly checked in with us to ensure we were still doing ok. She even gave us a free pitcher of beer! We ordered several pizzas, wings, bread sticks, and got salad from the salad bar, and everything was really tasty. I really don't have any complaints about the food to be honest. My wife's parents are normally hard to please when it comes to food and they had nothing but good things to say about this place! The breadsticks were absolutely delish, I could eat a whole bag by myself. However, the pizza wasn't my favorite, we got a large and ended up not eating the leftovers (I love leftover pizza). The restaurant itself had a wood cabin vibe and offered outdoor seating. It felt so cozy that I almost wish I could have eaten there. The pizza itself was so good. They pile on the toppings. Personally, not our favorite style of pizza. It's very unpretentious and hearty (greasy with lots of cheese). I can see why some folks really like it. Definitely not what we're used to. I was unimpressed with the pizza here. we tried the meat pizza and the pepperonis were overdone and slightly burnt. We also got the garlic chicken with artichoke pizza, and I kind of felt like there was just too many toppings on it - overwhelming flavors and it just didn't come together well. I suspect we should've stuck with just a plain old pepperoni here. You get a pretty good size pizza for the price would just recommend sticking with simple pepperoni pizza here. read more

We ordered a large meat lovers and a medium cheese pizza with black olives for our Italian exchange student we brought along. The ultimate test of how good a pizza is comes from a native Italian. As a frequent visitor to Groveland, I have been looking forward to trying this place for a long time. Finally had the chance and honestly I was very underwhelmed. We ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza, Garlic Chicken pizza and an order of wings. The chicken they used for the topping was very salty - thinking it may have been Foster Farms prepackaged grilled chicken strips as the look, taste, and texture seemed identical. So salty that I had to remove the pieces from the pizza altogether. The BBQ Chicken pizza was the better of the two. The Garlic Chicken pizza was very salty (I think it was the sauce), even after removing the chicken from the pizza. Crust was cooked nicely and had a neutral flavor but the pizzas could have benefitted from a few more minutes cooking time as the toppings looked like they needed more time. Chicken wings were large and meaty - the only win of the whole meal. I am thinking a safer bet than the pizzas we ordered would have been to stick with traditional styles - plain cheese or cheese and pepperoni. I understand options in Groveland are limited and in cases like this I try to keep my expectations really low. But folks have been raving about this place for a long time. Perhaps because there isn't a better option but that shouldn't be an excuse for mediocre food. Would also like to see an actual website with menu and not be directed to Facebook for menu and info on the restaurant. Next time I am in Groveland and want quick pizza I will skip this place and go to Mar-Val to get frozen pizzas and cook them myself. read more

They said it would take a few minutes but it ended up taking much longer! When we finally flagged them down to ask about it, they said they had run out of bell peppers so they were trying to figure out what to do. I guess it was very late on a very busy summer day for the restaurant! We told them to just give it to us without the bell peppers. They put a ton of mushrooms to substitute the bell peppers. An honest mistake but turns out it had just been sitting in the shelf ready but they'd forgotten to bring it out to us. We're from NYC and have had some pretty good pizza and the garlic chicken pizza was up there! The crust could have used a bit more char and could have been a bit thinner but the garlic sauce was delicious and the vegetable toppings were fresh. We got the BBQ chicken, combo, pesto veggie (has artichokes), and regular veggie (vegorama) pizzas. I only tried the pesto veggie and vegorama pizzas. The pizzas were just so-so, I feel it would've been better with stronger cheese and/or more spices to make them more flavorful. I will add the caveat that I didn't have a big appetite at the time of eating, though. The fries that came with the chicken tenders also tasted plain, so similarly could've used more salt or other spices on them. The salads were alright, but really the sauce, and to some extent the raw onion slices and croutons, were really carrying the flavor. read more

After visiting Yosemite, I decided to stop here with my boyfriend to grab lunch. I was here a few years back and remembered I liked this spot so I decided to come back. This spot is located in Groveland, which is close to Yosemite. We ordered a small pizza and split the pizzas in half: Meat combo and Garlic Chicken. We also ordered the Four Topper Calzone and added Sausage, mushrooms, Pepperoni, and Artichoke. Pizza was a 10/10. When you take a bite into that pizza, you can really see how cheesy the cheese was and the crust was spot on crunchy. I liked the Meat Combo more while my boyfriend liked the Garlic Chicken more. The Calzone was a 8/10. It was packed with the toppings that we ordered, which I like but I prefer the pizzas more. This spot feels very cozy when you walk in and it makes you feel instantly comfortable. I would highly recommend coming here if you are in the area or visiting Yosemite! read more

Pretty cool pizza place in the middle of Groveland - you can stop by after visiting Yosemite which is just 30 minutes away. We were here to grab a bite as we were staying at an Airbnb nearby to make a trip to Yosemite. Food - Quality wise - just OK. It was filling, the salad is very simple. But for AYCE pizza for 12$ - not bad! I had a Hawaiian slice that only had 3 pieces of pineapple. The supreme was not bad, but the pepperoni was definitely my favorite. Service - When we arrived, there was a party of 12 that came through after doing a tour at Yosemite. They ran out of pizza FAST. But they also came through with more pizza FAST! They actually came to our table, where we were sitting outside, to bring us supreme slices because they knew that the party of 12 would have probably gotten most of it again. Ambiance - Pretty cozy pizza place! Plenty of indoor seating and they do have outdoor seating which is super cool. We were able to come here with our doggo which was lovely. The area where we pay and get our pizza is a pretty tight space but it was honestly probably because we arrived with the party of 12. I'm sure if there was 5 of us there, it would have felt fine. 4 stars for the friendly and awesome service, decent pizza with an amazing price. Stopped by this pizza location otw back from Yosemite and it was pretty decent pizza! I'm prefer my east coast pizza but this pizza was not bad for the location. I order a Small half meat combo and garlic chicken pizza which was cheesy, crunchy and flavorful. We also order a small Four topper calzone which was okay but for the amount of food you get it's pretty good! The inside was a typical pizza decal with a family owned vibes. The service was great! Only reason it didn't get 5/5 was because the pizza is the thin crust east coast pizza that I liked and the sauce could be a tad bit more flavorful. Overall a great spot to spot by on the way to or back from Yosemite! read more

The pizza was amazing first of all, and in a pizza place that's what's most important, but more than that, when I first got here I asked the man behind the counter (who was wearing a giants hat) if he could turn on the giants game on one of the tvs inside. I had forgotten that once you leave the Bay Area the tv market for the games becomes limited. He tried to find it but let me know his tv package didn't cover it. I tried to tell him it wasn't necessary but he got me another beer on the house. Turned out he was one of the '2guys'. I recommend this spot to anyone. read more
