I've never had pistachios as a pizza topping before but the combination of crunchy pistachios, salty Parmesan, crispy wild rosemary and buttery caramelized onions was something special. Since this is a mobile establishment be sure to check the calendar on their website to make sure you know where they will be on any given day. If you're in the area you'd be hard pressed to find better pizza.

Highly recommend this place if you are driving by or need to refuel after a long day of hiking.

I asked for a credit for the inconvenience of leaving the bar still hungry and very unhappy now and she offered a single drink credit. Avoid this place like the plague. Mistakes happen but they're easily overcome with just a slight touch of customer service of which this establishment sorely lacks.

That's completely understandable, so I asked how long the wait would be. Instead of giving us an estimate, we were immediately encouraged to just get our desserts to go. It left us feeling like our business wasn't welcome because we weren't ordering a full dinner. We're not tourists passing through--we're locals who support this restaurant year-round, including during the slower times. Every customer should feel welcome, whether they're ordering a full meal or just stopping in for dessert and drinks. Unfortunately, after this experience, we'll be taking our business elsewhere. Mariposa has plenty of great places that make every guest feel appreciated.

The experience got off to a rough start when we waited five minutes before anyone acknowledged us or told us where to sit. Once seated, we waited an hour for our food. During that time, we learned that multiple menu items were unavailable. Given the long wait, we expected the food to be worth it, but when it finally arrived, much of it was poor quality and not edible. The most upsetting part of the evening was that our children were already tired and hungry from the long wait, and the overall atmosphere became increasingly uncomfortable. Nearby diners began making negative comments about our children, which left everyone feeling upset and unwelcome. After waiting so long and having such a poor experience, we were surprised that we were still charged for food that was largely left uneaten. I understand that restaurants can have difficult nights, staffing shortages, or unexpected issues. It was clear that the staff were going through a hard time. However, between the lack of service, long wait, unavailable menu items, disappointing food, and uncomfortable atmosphere, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences our family has had in a long time. After leaving, we ate at another restaurant in town and mentioned our experience to a local resident who said she had lived in Mariposa for more than 30 years and had repeatedly had negative experiences at Miners'. Hearing that made us feel like our experience may not have been an isolated incident. I hope management takes steps to improve both the customer experience and food quality going forward.

I ordered the Pork Sliders and was able to substitute the JoJo Potatoes with the Street Corn Riblets. Those Street Corn Riblets were delicious, and the pork sliders were juicy! They also provide their different sauces on the side. I loved the variety they had (House BBQ, Spicy Vinegar, Posa Gold, and Cali White). I was able to sample all of them, and they all tasted yummy. Will definitely be back if I ever make a trip to Yosemite again!

We waited in line patiently for quite a while, and by the time it was our turn, we were the last people waiting to order. Instead of helping us, the cashier skipped over us and took another customer's order first. We were already caught off guard by that, but what happened afterward was worse. Once he finished helping that customer, he still did not come back to us, acknowledge that we had been waiting, apologize, or even ask what we wanted to order. He simply turned around and went back into the kitchen as if we were not there. We were the only Latino family in the restaurant at the time, while the other customers around us were white. I cannot speak to what was in the cashier's mind, but I can absolutely speak to how we were treated, and it made us feel singled out, unwelcome, and discriminated against. Ultimately, we ended up walking out without ordering because at that point the message felt very clear: our business was not important enough to even acknowledge. What makes this even more upsetting is that this area has very limited food options. We had already been traveling for hours, had a child with us, and were simply trying to stop somewhere to eat. Because of this experience, we had to continue driving and did not get food 4 hours later. Being skipped can happen. What is not acceptable is skipping a family, finishing with the next customer, and then completely ignoring the people who had been standing there waiting without so much as a "sorry" or "I'll be right with you." That was disrespectful, humiliating, and completely unacceptable customer service. We left feeling incredibly uncomfortable and disappointed. Do better. Every customer deserves to be acknowledged and treated with basic respect.

The grilled cheese was nothing too special on its own, but it paired so well with the soup, especially to warm you up in the cold. The combination is classic comfort food executed beautifully, and you really can't go wrong with this order. The Grove House is absolutely worth planning your Yosemite trip around! It's the perfect stop to fuel up before heading into the park or to unwind after a day of hiking. The combination of good food, welcoming atmosphere, and that small-town charm makes it a must-visit when you're in Mariposa. I would definitely recommend trying this place out - it seems like one of the best restaurants in the area on the way to Yosemite. One thing that puzzled us a tiny bit was the "specials" appeared to be identical to menu options, but no harm, no foul. The service was very friendly, knowledgable and very well executed. It was accurate and reasonably quick. The food was outstanding. We started with very nice small dinner salads, and the garlic bread brought to the table was well done. We had Chicken Alfredo with Feta, and the Rib Eye Steak. Both were sensational (the chicken benefitted from a squeeze of lemon). The portions were large, and the preparation was perfect. The steak was exactly as ordered, and was the best steak we've had in some time. The chicken was cooked well and the pasta was perfect. The vegetables were great, seasoned and steamed, retaining a bit of crunch. Desert was an event! We had the cheesecake, which was very good, and the chocolate mocha ice cream pie. Oh, my goodness! That pie! It was at least 5" high, and covered a desert plate edge to edge, and it was a coffee and chocolate fantasy with a toffee crust! Out of this world! Simply epic. The only photo we managed was the salad. Everything else we were too busy digging in to! If you're in (or passing through) Mariposa, by all means, go! We certainly will be back.

Just a burrito Bad portion of ingredients and the tortilla was thick which i did not like. Id rather taste quality ingredients. This is located inside curry village at yosemite valley. If you're hungry go for it otherwise you're better off getting a ready made sandwich inside the little gift shop next door or a simple slice of pizza at the deck.

We ordered 3 salads and 3 sodas and 90 minutes later we were still waiting for our food. We asked for our food to go at the 60 minute mark and they weren't able or willing to do that. At the end when I asked for a refund, I received no apology or explanation and the bartender still charged me for the drinks. I asked for a credit for the inconvenience of leaving the bar still hungry and very unhappy now and she offered a single drink credit. Avoid this place like the plague. Mistakes happen but they're easily overcome with just a slight touch of customer service of which this establishment sorely lacks.
