The washers and dryers either stain your clothes, don't work, or someone steals from you. They've been raising our rent $50 every year for the past several years. During the 10 months I lived here, I had my gas siphoned, a SWAT team break down a neighbor's door during a hostage situation, and another neighboring unit where a drug-addicted couple had frequent violent altercations. The situation became so bad that I had to call the police over a dozen times during my short time living there. The most frustrating part is that management has received complaints about these issues for years. They will tell you they care and that they are addressing the situation, but nothing actually changes. The responses often feel dismissive and unhelpful. What ultimately pushed me to write this review, however, was how my move-out was handled. Although I moved out before my lease ended, I made every effort to leave the apartment in excellent condition. I had the unit professionally cleaned, including the carpets, and had all holes patched and painted. After the pre-move-out inspection, I even provided management with the invoices for these services. Despite this, I was still charged nearly $500 in additional cleaning and painting fees. I was also charged an incorrect $450 rent balance, even though management had previously confirmed that I had paid the remaining rent and utilities owed. Even after explaining this and providing documentation, they still refused to return my full security deposit. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. For the price you pay to live here, there are far better and better-managed options in the area. I strongly encourage prospective renters to carefully consider other properties before signing a lease here.
