Parkview today I had a great experience with your ER staff. I came in as a follow up to a stab wound due to a fishing accident and your staff was very friendly. I also want to let you know that my initial visit the previous week with that doctor was great too, on my way out today your security guard was extremely friendly today along with your front guest staff. My mom needed ER services and we were in the area, we decided to stop here for her to get seen. I talked to the receptionist and got my mom in, she was super nice and helpful. Everyone that took care of my mom was excellent and very helpful. They communicated very well with me and she was in and out in less than 3 hours (normally it's about 5 hours minimum) there wasn't too many people in the waiting area so we got lucky on that part. All the tests she needed were done promptly and everything was smooth and easy! We've been to other ER's here this area and this one was one of the top ones! read more

Type of care is terrible! I get it's an ER and they are usually busy but for someone to be in so much pain that they're bent over or a CHILD with such a high fever that her mom was wetting her with her WATER BOTTLE and STILL sitting in the waiting area is mind blowing. The waiting room was also very dirty and smelled terrible. The waiting area is not a huge deal but the sick people are. Please do better tending to those who are in such a huge need. read more

This hospital was amazing! Three nurses helped my grandpa and supported him through his surgery. One was named Nurse Berta and two other nurses (a male and a female who I forgot their names). Overall they were patient, answered every question, and Dr. Lien was soo sweet. She helped my grandpa through his surgery and checked him daily to see if he was okay. Month of June 2025 WHATS happen to parkview hospital !! SERIOUSLY. It has always been top of the charts but the experience this week is like no other. I went to emergency room with chest pain. back pain. had a CT scan with dye and blood work Was told my blood pressure was high and my A1C was over 200. They didn't take into count that they checked my blood after they feed me a high carb meal of surgery and starchy items. They decided to treat me for the A1C reading and a nurse was instructed to give me a shot of insulin. Best part is I am not on diabetic medications and they didn't care to consult with my family doctor. I test my blood at home and do blood test for A1C regularly and I know not to eat high surgery or starchy foods especially when testing. I had my tester brought in and it was in the 150's not 200's which was still close to a meal reading. I refused further shots. A heart test that was suppose to happen Friday as I got there Thursday evening due to pain never happened. It was the reason I was requested to stay. When the heart doctor came to my room on Saturday was told they did not do this test on weekend. I told him that test had been done on at an imaging place I go to on another prior occasion and to just me give me an order sheet and I would go there after seeing my doctor on Monday. I could not see paying two more days of hospital fees since they did not uphold doing the procedure on Friday and weren't even treating me like it mattered. He said that was fine and left to fill one out. My husband left after hearing the doctor confirm I would be released to go home. As my son arrived and offered to give me a ride home. Then the Doctor who was over the staff came in and said I would not be leaving he wanted me to stay till Monday and have the test. I told him the Cardiologist authorized me to leave. He said he sent him home and I was staying due to some reading in my chart. My son handles insurance and report's so he asked to see the chart by a head nurse. In viewing nothing matched what this doctor implied. No telling who's chart he was looking at. I let them know I was leaving and they could not force me to stay. They said I had to sign a form and they would not give me any papers of my stay information. Went to my doctor Monday who is affiliated with this hospital and he shook his head and said he would get the paperwork. The test they wanted me to have was not necessary. Won't be returning there. read more

I've been here twice (2019 for Labor and Delivery & 2026 ER) and both experiences were great. During my ER visit, I was seen quick despite of the amount of people there. In the waiting section once inside, they have reclining hospital chairs for comfort. During my Labor and Delivery time, I was seen and assisted real quick. I had an unexpected emergency surgery because my appendix was leaking, and I was in a lot of pain when I came in. I did have to wait a little, but from my perspective, everyone was doing their best to get me help as quickly as possible. I'm not someone who works in a hospital, so I don't know exactly how every part of the process works, but I could genuinely tell that the staff was trying to get me my pain medication as soon as they could, and I really appreciate that. Everyone I interacted with was so kind, attentive, and genuine--from the lady outside to the team who woke me up after the OR, to my recovery nurses. Every person I came across made me feel cared for. That meant so much to me during such a scary and painful experience. I honestly feel like this hospital is a little gem in our community that not enough people appreciate. The kindness here did not feel fake or forced. It truly felt like the staff worked well together and cared about each other, which made such a difference in the way I felt as a patient. I did notice one small moment of tension between staff toward the end of my stay,( morning shift was different) but nothing is perfect, and it was not alarming. Overall, the environment still felt warm, respectful, and genuine. My sister is about to graduate into nursing, and I even told her she should apply here because work environment matters so much for nurses and doctors. From what I saw, this seemed like the kind of place where people would be happy to work. I'm very thankful to Parkview Community staff. You all are amazing, and your kindness was not overlooked. We had a wonderful experience at Parkview Hospital while bringing our son in, and I can't say enough positive things about the care we received. Dr. Sawchuck was absolutely fantastic--knowledgeable, patient, and truly caring. The nurses, Xochi and Joanna, went above and beyond to make sure our son was comfortable, calm, and well cared for every step of the way. They were attentive, kind, and always took the time to explain what was happening, which meant so much to us as parents. Our CNA, Emalyn, was also amazing--gentle, compassionate, and incredibly attentive to our son's needs. The entire team worked seamlessly together and treated us with genuine kindness and respect. I gave birth at Parkview about a week ago. I had a long labor and every L&D shift that treated me during my stay was AMAZING, PATIENT, and KIND. I'm most a regular here in the ER.. The Older short doctor (I think she is a doctor) needs to help patients and spot harassing people. Every time in here I just see her walking (never doing anything). One time she kicked me out of my daughters room (only 1 adult with patient) and security and doctor told me "No, you can stay". Tonight 1/2/26 ER tec, EKG tec and doctor said I could stay with my son and after being there an hour with him she came by and kicked me out of room. Giving me some WTH sorry of having a little girl who needed her mom back here and I said "what does that have to do with me". then she asked my son his age and then got rude with me.. I got up and left but wth.. this places isn't busy and we aren't in the way or hurting anyone but for no reason at all (and awful excuse) she just decided to kicked me out... I see her do stuff like this to people every time I'm here.. How about help patients and stop harassing people who are here worried and trying to support our loved ones... when she walked up I knew it was coming.. Her alone would be the reason I stopped coming here, I'm tired of being harassed by her or watching her harasse people every time I'm here. Another note: My son sat there and watched this gentlemen constantly asking for help and a glass water (guess he had injury to jaw) and finally after the 4th person he asked helped him.. everyone said ok but never came back.. my son almost got up to get him help and someone finally came back.. if staff is going to ignore patient then maybe should allow 1 guest so they can look out for patient wellbeing. I've worked in hospitals and it makes me sad how some staff ignores patients, at least act like you care. I know how busy it is but that person needs you, maybe hire more CNA's to show the TLC. read more

I went to Parkview hospital and was there in er for 9 hours. They did all kinds of test. Then they came in and told me I had gallstones. They sent me home and told me not to come back to that hospital again. Told me not to call 911. I am in worse health then what I was when J went there. I felt hurt about it. They did give me medicine but it didn't help at all. I'm in worse pain than what I was when I went there. I fell I was mistreated. Nothing went well read more

I was seen there this morning and was treated very kind which made me feel very comfortable during my visit and the Care quality was excellent the RN Lakesha did a very good job Wrapping my sprained ankle & was very kind and caring about how I felt about what she was doing. I work for Hoag Irvine, Hospital, but living in Riverside, so I really didn't wanna make the trip to Irvine. I hesitantly went to Parkview Hospital instead-- especially when I haven't always heard the best things about the hospital, but to my surprise, they were amazing. I brought my husband in on 12/4/25 who had a knee injury. Registration was patient and tolerant with me, even though I wasn't fully paying attention to what she was asking-- she was great. Triage was also great: quick,kind and professional. Then we met to Demiko (did I spell that right?) He was a tall, bubbly, funny, black guy. A radiology tech who did my husband's x-ray. He had a great sense of humor, and even though he was clearly super busy it did not take away from his personality at all. He made the experience much better.. Overall, the nurses doctors and staff did an amazing job. Thank you for treating my husband and getting this out on a three hour mark! That's better than most hospitals! Truly impressed read more

My mom was admitted to the hospital and Emalyn took care of my mom. She has such a good personality and was very helpful and friendly. She continued to check on mom and I to make sure we was comfortable. Also, Dr. Vincent Lee was my mom's doctor when she was here with covid. He has a good bedside manner. I have not experienced such a caring physician in years. I was so happy he was for my mother. We need more doctors like Dr. Lee. We really appreciated everything he did for my mom. Grateful. Been here a lot with my mom the last few months. The er is great but the hospital is horrible. They miss diagnosed my mom. She got worse going here. Unfortunately we had no say so because of her condition they had to take her to the closest hospital and this is it. Think when you move somewhere make sure the hospital is good that's by you. Worst hospital ever this place needs to either shutdown or get new staff. I brought my daughter in cause she had a 103 fever since 1pm and no medicine helped at home we got there around 6:20pm and after vitals were taken and temperature too they sent us back out and called us in 15-20mins later to give her Tylenol and covid test too 10-15mins after we were called again for an Xray after that we went back to the waiting room at around 7:20. She was in her diaper since we got there which i understand is necessary to bring the fever down (she also had a bag in her diaper to collect urine samples). We were there for 4 hours without anyone telling us her results (I got her Covid results online which came out negative thankfully) but since we couldn't get a urine sample we couldn't go and to make things worse she still had a fever the entire time we were either. I told an ER Tech about the situation and how her fever isn't getting better and he told Dr Roy which in response he looked towards us and rolled his eyes and both left again. Since no one was helping us we left the ER and went to a different one who was much more helpful and much more compassionate about my daughter's condition. Today I called back to ask for the results of her Xray which I was told by the front desk that she apparently had no tests or X-ray done which was a complete lie and I'm sure she know cause I told her I have a screenshots of the Covid test with the date and time from yesterday which I proceeded to talk to someone else who can tell me more information (I'm not the type of person to ask to talk to higher ups but when it comes to my kid) before I was transferred she confirmed that they did do Covid test and X-ray but told me that i couldn't get the X-ray results over the phone which she said no after I was transferred to someone working the er I was told by a male nurse that if I wanted the results I had to go request the information at the medical records office since their system didn't save the X-ray results since their system erases or blocks when patients leave without being discharged but they were able to see the Covid one with no problems. Which at the end of the call the male nurse told me that he was to busy to talk to me then I explained the situation and he said to not complain since they where busy (i understand that but they leak a lot of sympathy) and that 4 hours was not a long time since some patients "Wait up to 8 hours" I'm quoting exactly what he said. Not only are they extremely unprofessional both in person and over the phone but they also make many MEDICATION ERRORS which thankfully my husband and I catch on time or our amazing pharmacist does. Save your time, money, patients, and go somewhere else that's not going to treat you like a live cash cow and will treat you with respect and care that you need!!! read more

I have been going here most of my life, and was even born here myself. I had my first/last son here. WORST experience every time I came here for anything, specifically for my labor and delivery. The staff seemed inexperienced, and quality of care was very low. We both nearly lost our lives here, and I'm extremely blessed to have walked out of here with my baby alive. My son is severely disabled to this day because of what we went through...after he was born we never went back here. Also after all these years they never documented my son's vaccines in the hospital, even though I gave permission and signed for them. There's not even a denial/approval on file...no medical record mysteriously, so you can imagine how hard it was trying to get him signed up for school later on. Very suspicious, given the circumstances and what we went through and how our lives changed forever because of this place. I don't recommend coming here, no quality of care for patients and extremely unprofessional! I would go anywhere else before I ever come back here again. I would give zero stars if I could. And if you're considering coming here or having a baby here, please save yourselves and go somewhere else. read more

Went to park view Hospital today worst experience and service ever! Staff lady in the front desk was rude. My son had a wheezing cough they took an x-ray and said it could be bronchitis but even knowing that they still had us waiting in the waiting room for 5 hours. Guest that walked in when I walked in and even after me were seen before us. I don't understand how they can think that adults are way more important than a child!!! I ended up leaving without them doing anything for my son. They tested my son for Covid and the flu when it was quite obvious that it was not that.
