My mom needed ER services and we were in the area, we decided to stop here for her to get seen. I talked to the receptionist and got my mom in, she was super nice and helpful. Everyone that took care of my mom was excellent and very helpful. They communicated very well with me and she was in and out in less than 3 hours (normally it's about 5 hours minimum) there wasn't too many people in the waiting area so we got lucky on that part. All the tests she needed were done promptly and everything was smooth and easy! We've been to other ER's here this area and this one was one of the top ones!

I had the best hospital experience I've ever had. Early August-- I had to get gallbladder surgery. The emergency department was so considerate of all my needs as a postpartum nursing mom. The medsurge and recovery floors were so kind and helpful. They took such great care of me. I'm so grateful!

After 29 years living in beautiful Riverside,I had an emergency and was sent to this hospital to check my hypertension, headache and double vision. It was so great to be with the amazing team in there. Thank you park view!

I cannot thank Nurse Jennifer and enough for keeping me safe and comfortable. Her vigilant care and attention to detail made all the difference in my recovery. Jennifer consistently anticipated my needs. Her professionalism is above par.

I've been here twice (2019 for Labor and Delivery & 2026 ER) and both experiences were great. During my ER visit, I was seen quick despite of the amount of people there. In the waiting section once inside, they have reclining hospital chairs for comfort. During my Labor and Delivery time, I was seen and assisted real quick. Doctors and nurses very caring and supportive.

After surgery- was curious to see my tummy lol Looks good to me ‍

I had an unexpected emergency surgery because my appendix was leaking, and I was in a lot of pain when I came in. I did have to wait a little, but from my perspective, everyone was doing their best to get me help as quickly as possible. I'm not someone who works in a hospital, so I don't know exactly how every part of the process works, but I could genuinely tell that the staff was trying to get me my pain medication as soon as they could, and I really appreciate that. Everyone I interacted with was so kind, attentive, and genuine--from the lady outside to the team who woke me up after the OR, to my recovery nurses. Every person I came across made me feel cared for. That meant so much to me during such a scary and painful experience. I honestly feel like this hospital is a little gem in our community that not enough people appreciate. The kindness here did not feel fake or forced. It truly felt like the staff worked well together and cared about each other, which made such a difference in the way I felt as a patient. I did notice one small moment of tension between staff toward the end of my stay,( morning shift was different) but nothing is perfect, and it was not alarming. Overall, the environment still felt warm, respectful, and genuine. My sister is about to graduate into nursing, and I even told her she should apply here because work environment matters so much for nurses and doctors. From what I saw, this seemed like the kind of place where people would be happy to work. I'm very thankful to Parkview Community staff. You all are amazing, and your kindness was not overlooked. Thank you for giving the kind of hospitality and care we need more of in our community hospitals. May God bless you all.

To being happy and working on staying healthy.

It is my understanding that Loma Linda University Medical Center is a teaching hospital. Teaching…read morehospitals can be wonderful, and my experiences with UCI, another teaching hospital, have for the most part involved elevated, quality care. Unfortunately, our experience at Loma Linda was very different. On Friday night, I took my daughter in for a gastric-related emergency while she was in her first trimester of pregnancy. We were directed from the ER to the Labor & Delivery/Maternity area. I understand there are limitations on what can safely be done during early pregnancy, so this review is not about the medical care that was or was not provided. My concern is the astonishing lack of communication between staff and what felt like a notable absence of experienced supervision. My daughter needed to be evaluated by Gastroenterology. Having spent more time in hospitals with her than I ever would have wanted, I completely understand that specialty teams round when they can. Waiting for GI was not the problem. Eventually, a GI doctor came into the room, spoke with us, and after discussing the options, we decided not to proceed with an endoscopy. Fine. Then apparently he activated stealth mode. Five additional hours passed, and staff still seemed to be waiting for a procedure that we had already declined. During that time, we told three different nurses that GI had already been there and that we were not proceeding with the endoscopy. Yet somehow that information apparently traveled nowhere. By this point, we had been there approximately 15 1/2 hours, during which my daughter had labs, one bag of IV fluids, an ultrasound, and a great deal of waiting. Eventually, after we became increasingly frustrated and pushed for answers, another doctor came in and told us she was waiting for the procedure orders. That was the moment our patience finally evaporated. We explained, again, that GI had already seen my daughter and there was not going to be a procedure. At that point, I genuinely wondered: Does anyone here actually talk to anyone else? The discharge conversation didn't improve matters. The doctor explained signs of gastric bleeding that should prompt my daughter to return. I said that I had spoken with my daughter about letting me know immediately if those symptoms occurred so I could bring her back. The doctor then looked directly at my daughter and said, "You know, you don't have to tell her anything. You can come to the hospital on your own as well." She followed that by saying that if my daughter didn't tell anyone or didn't come to the hospital, she would be assuming that risk herself. She then looked at me and added, "No offense." It was an incredibly strange and unnecessary response to a mother saying she would bring her pregnant daughter back to the hospital if she began showing signs of another gastric bleed. I found the implication uncomfortable and inappropriate. After approximately 15 1/2 hours, my daughter was finally discharged. Loma Linda, if you're reading this: do better. A teaching hospital should be teaching more than medicine. Communication between physicians, nurses, specialty teams, and patients is part of patient care. When three nurses are told that a procedure has been declined, yet hours later a physician is still waiting for orders for that procedure, something in the system has broken down. And while I understand that teaching hospitals rely heavily on residents and physicians in training, patients also deserve to feel that appropriate supervision and experienced medical leadership are present and accessible. We didn't expect instant answers or VIP treatment. We expected communication, coordination, and confidence in the people caring for a medically complicated pregnant patient. On this visit, unfortunately, we didn't get that.

They will give you unclear information on why you…read moreare even there and when u are getting out and keep extending the days to their advantage. nurses were weird and u helpful and only came around to scan ankle bracelet otherwise u would be ignored. you dont speak with a doctor often unless its on a zoom or maybe once un person definitely no help besides that unless you want to color or watch tv. they will continue to ask if u want to go on medication but not give u any other information besides that. everyone i saw that took medication from here lost their minds and became insane and completely lost themselves. being in a plain creepy blood splatter ceilings and floors with lubes evey where and cant go outside unless once or twice a day for 30 mins in a black cube while the maintain the grounds outside of it but not inside for some reason is guaranteed to make u feel worse and sick. I was in a room by myself and their were bugs and blood stains everywhere when i took a shower their was black mild coming from the soap dispenser and they dont give u soap just the moldy shampoo. and a tiny bit of conditioner since theres no real hair brushes and food was definitely has smthg in it couldn't stop shitting stomach hurt so bad and they would come in every 15 mins to leave your door open where insane people can walk in as they please. when i left i have been sick with a fever since bc probably it was so cold and lack of hygiene when i walked into the kitchen i gagged from the smell of stale idek what and there was only one kind of nice nurse there. i genuinely give if u work here your desperate and have no human empathy and the whole situation is just fake and so unhelpful. the staff were rude and would make fun of patients and never ask u for anything unless u begged them. cant get water unless u go to the front desk and they give u a small ass cup so u have to keep going back and they get annoyed like. literally had ants crawling on my head bc theres no real trashcan to dispose of food just paper bags. When I left i have been sick with a fever I think and completely regret ever going to the emergency room for a panic attack again. also when i tried to leave and told the doctor that i dont live with my family after they had drove me 3 hrs away from where i live he said well goodluck getting home idk and left and was some ugly ass idian that was retarded anyway my room was so creepy anx i had really weird dreams from the sleeimg meds they gave me to sleep and woke me up at 6am eveyday to draw blood and take vitals and the doctor dropped the blood container on me and said can u hand me that after i was already in pain like all nonchalant literally so weird and he didnt know what he was doing also rude kept asking me ant my last name and where it was from excessively anyways definitely haunted and all the patients there are also weird idk why they even sent me there for a less severe panic attack and dizzyness agyer the er told my boyfriend and family i would just be staying for the night and strapped me to a hands and feet to streacher and had me like that in the ambulance the whole time.
