Don't go to this office. They try to rob or rip off clients with over the top charges. I was appalled at the highway robbery. My insurance covers and extraction for a max of $110 and today I was asked to pay $575. And they asked for $700 to clean teeth. Unbelievable. My insurance covers teeth cleaning at no charge. They refused to clean the teeth. That should be 100% covered by my Delta Dental HMO. I will be reporting this office to the better business bureau. We have now been referred to an honest dentist. I would never recommend this office. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Completely preying on people in an emergency. My son has a broken tooth. They said to me... just get a loan for $3,200. I will never go there again. There were even other clients yelling about getting ripped off while we there. Unreal. I am disappointed that this office was even recommended to me by my insurance. I have been going to this dental office for a couple of years. They are always, always friendly and helpful with welcoming smiles on their faces. They always know what to do with my teeth and are very professional. I am usually in and out in no time, and when it takes a while, they always let me know how long its going to take and sorta countdown so I am in sync with them (I usually have a babysitter at home). I am very pleased with their work and have a lot of trust in their opinion/diagnosis. Dr. Sam usually helps me along with Tiffany who both are just a blessing. 1 star solely based on the business side not dental treatment. I've been taking my family here for 2 years and I'm just now finding out from the receptionist Laura that they are "auditing their accounts" and I was informed of and "outstanding balance" of $150 for services rendered in May of 2017. I'm am so upset because I just switched my dental plan from Delta HMO to Delta PPO and it is now that this issue arises. Not once did I receive an invoice nor a verbal concern that I had an outstanding balance. I told Laura that this is bad business and I'm sure the company already wrote off the loss and they are now attempting to make a "first time collection" 2 years later which is very upsetting since I have been a loyal customer. Since 2017 we have continued to use Parkview Dental and paid every single time services are rendered. I asked to have my account issue escalated and that is when she said "I will ask management if they want to bill you or waive your account". I don't understand how an established business can keep their finances in order and makes me wonder how many other people are going to get surprise bills. read more

I just had the best dental treatment ever! From the greeting of the front desk to the gentle care of the doctor, the service was very friendly and warm. Love the high tech experience of park view. Dr. Sam is easy on the eyes and friendly as well as his staff. I love that you can see everything going on in front of you on a computer screen (X-rays, graphs). They are paperless as well so everything is signed on an iPad. I had a dental emergency (my crown broke in half) and needed a dentist that could squeeze me in. I work across the street at Parkview Community Hospital and this office was recommended to me. They were able to squeeze me in at noon. The office was easy to find. There was ample parking including street parking right out front. The office is very nicely decorated. I was greeted warmly and rushed to the back. Everyone that I dealt with was pleasant and professional. Dr. Sam greeted me and went right to work. I had a temp crown in place and was out the door within 1 hour. I would love to come back and have all of my dental services done here. Nice establishment & some friendly, playful people. Clean your room for you before you enter & if you are running late it will be okay (no more than 30 min was my tardiness). Listerine in the bathroom to wash your mouth out, sanitizer on entry, & everyone wears a mask. I had no insurance & paid more than 60% of my total so they gave me an in-house payment plan. I needed an emergency root canal & I got one same day, plus the temporary crown. I got my teeth cleaned as well, though they would have skipped that part if I didn't have enough for that at the time. Other places would've made that mandatory when you might only have money for the root canal & crown. The ONLY thing that bothered me a bit would be after I got everything done & permanent crowns in the doctor shaved a bit off the top molar which was fine so the crown would fit right. My teeth are great now & everything's good. However, not asking me for permission, especially for teeth that didn't need it, bothered me. I'm paying you in cash so if you have to keep re-sizing well so be it keep doing it. Don't shave a tooth that doesn't need it to make my crown fit. Be patient doctor. I know you want to go home too. All in all I will still be going here for further work. read more

I was referred to Dr. Saesim by my friend who worked as a Case Manager at Parkview Hospital. It's been about one year now I've been going to Dr. Sam as everyone calls him.....he is the most awesome dentist, he's patient, gentle, kind, caring and most of all extremely talented at what he does!! Not once has he ever caused me any discomfort during the many extractions and treatments I've had! That is saying "A lot" from a person like me.....because I am the Biggest Dental Phobe in the world, have had "Horrifically" bad experiences at the hands of dentists all my life, stuff that you wouldn't believe!!! So....when I got to Dr. Sam needless to say my mouth was a total mess, I was a stress case and yet due to his soothing demeanor and talents I am now Amalgam Free, and almost the proud owner of a beautiful, new, smile and without having to get full dentures!!! It hasn't been quick or cheap but..... they offer credit for the kind of extensive work I needed coupled with my Dental Insurance it was manageable!!! Dr. Sam does good job I have no problem with him, but this one hygienist lady( Charlene?) needs to be careful what she is talking behind patients back, she may smile at you but she talks crap behind your back. So as other stuff too. Ladies, if you call yourself professional , keep your mouth shut till you go home . Whispering and gossip around attitude are not professional at all. Your fake greeting doesn't help if you are talking crap about patients or some personal things. And also I agree with other review that insurance lady is not trustworthy at all , makes too many mistakes , and at the end she tries to get away what she she did. Horrible. I needed an emergency tooth extraction and they wouldn't do it . They tried to convince me to pay for a 3,000$ procedure to replace my broken tooth. I applied for the cosmetic dentistry grant program and Parkview was the office in their network that I had to go through. Upon my exam I was told I needed a cleaning which they were going to charge 500 dollars for. The receptionist tried to convince me that the grant program paid half which was was not true. They also was setting me up with another appointment which would cost me another 250 dollars. I told them I would wait to see what my insurance covered. I was called 2 months later and was asked to give them another chance and to come in and see the doctor again free of charge. I went and the doctor told me what he could do for me and I was excited to get started. That's where the nightmare began. The office manager comes into the exam room with paperwork and tells me that the work would cost 6000 dollars and I needed to fill out paperwork to get it financed. They stated the grant program would pay 1200 and the rest was on me. I stated that I had insurance and I wanted to see what they covered. The office manager stated they will not cover any cosmetic. I Told her I would look into this myself. She then wanted to set another appointment for a cleaning and told me it would be $300Upon checking my insurance I found out they were not in my dental care network and a provider in my network would do the cleaning for nothing at all when I question the office manager about why it was costing so much with the cleaning she did not want to tell me that they were not in my HMO network. Upon contacting a Dennis in my network all the work that I needed to have done was covered they were not trying to tell me this at Parkview dental and they knew it. This place is all about money and the grant program is really nothing more than a advertising board for them please do your homework before you go to this place they will try to rush you to commit to them it's all about the money and they are not truthful proceed with caution read more

After reading all the outstanding reviews I was more than a bit surprised with my first visit. While the x-rays and talk with the dentist went well enough, when it came to the billing it became a different story. I admit I need some work done but I did not expect the quote to include a cleaning for $580.00 (and no they didn't offer to do the old fashion regular cleaning), plus $1.250.00 worth cosmetic options, which I didn't realize were included until I got home and went through the quote (and no again I wasn't told they were options). I did call and expressed my concerns, and the next business day they did call back and were willing to excluded the $580.00 cleaning and do the free cleaning my insurance pays for, they were also willing to exclude the cosmetic work, BUT they built in an additional lab fee for $350.00. One thing I have learned is I should have gone into making dental crowns because when you factor in $195.00 for the crown and $350.00 for the lab fee that should result in a nice profit for the lab and the dental office. read more
