This place is horrible! They over charged me and my daughter. Dr. Sugiano told me I needed I don't know how many crowns when in reality I didn't. I originally went there because I needed a root canal and when he was doing it, he was talking about me to the dentist assistant as if I wasn't there. I don't remember the conversation exactly because it has been a while since I was there, but I thought he was very rude. I felt that they were charging me way too much and now that I see the reviews I was right. The worst thing was that my daughter went to that office and they told her that she needed a crown and now I'm thinking that she probably didn't. They keep on calling me to go back to finish my treatment and I just ignored them. I went to another dentist and he told me I didn't need any crowns. I was so mad. Find another dental office. Looking for a new dentist...trying to find a good one after our last provider stopped taking our insurance. I went initially and met with Dr. Sugiano and had my initial and cleaning appointments. My wife visited the office today. She is very apprehensive about new dentists. The people could not access the x-rays from our previous dentist because the office manager was out today. In the chair, when my wife asked if the light could not be right in her eyes, got this reaction from Dr. Sugiano, "Oh that's not in your eyes, THIS is right in your eyes," and proceeded to shine the overhead light directly in her eyes. My wife has epilepsy and this could have triggered seizures. He was unapologetic, unprofessional, and caused by wife extreme discomfort. She exited the chair, removed the bib, grabbed her purse, and left. Dr. Sugiano came recommended to us from a friend, but I doubt any of us will be returning. read more

Dr. Hawkins made me feel extremely uncomfortable at times (talking to me while keeping fingers in my mouth or talking to assistants while fingers are still in my mouth for over a minute not looking at my teeth?!) it took WAY too long to get my dental records to switch to another dentist when I had moved across the country (I had called multiple times and was told that they would call me back in regards to transferring my ortho records but never got a call back, then they mailed them to my precious address where I no longer lived ((meaning strangers could have access to my records) then was told it would be easier if my new ortho called them just for my new ortho to tell me they tried but got a rude response from them?!) *I had also just had an extremely invasive jaw surgery that they should've helped me through. overall I have been with riverside dental my entire life but this experience has made me extremely disappointed and trying to convince fam and friends to no longer come here any more. read more

They plan accordingly to give him plenty of time he might need to work through his issues but most importantly they have one of the best assistants (Melissa) I have ever seen. On the phone I called about tooth extractions and they said it would be between $200 - $400. They did not want to do a tooth extraction with out an implant and wasted $194 dollars for them to do some X-rays. The doctor refused to just do the tooth extraction. On top of that they wanted to do a root canal to try and save the tooth and have a price of $4000. I just wanted my tooth out to not be in pain. Thanks doc. read more

I'm usually a nervous wreck when visiting the dentist. I came here to take all 4 wisdoms teeth out. Dr. Morreta was amazing! He was really caring and took good care of the way he removed my wisdoms. Dr Krall the anesthesiologist called me a couple of days before surgery to go over what would happen and what to do before coming in for surgery. He as well was very nice and informative. I just really love the amazing friendly staff that was there to greet and help me answer any questions that I had. When I went in for a cleaning they cleaned only half my mouth, and now my dental insurance won't cover another cleaning for another two more years because they already did a cleaning. Then when I tried to schedule my wisdom teeth to be taken out they wanted to charge me $1,400 for TWO impacted wisdom teeth! Which is ridiculously over charging. I went somewhere else and was charged only $400 for all four impacted wisdom teeth. DONT GO HERE. Check your other dental companies first! read more

We were proud patience of Hospitality Dental Group which sold there practice to Riverside Dental Group since the Hygienist who we been with for decades stayed we decided to give them a shot since they said nothing going to change with our insurance coverage, well after getting charged a copay for cleaning & wanting to change $1000 for a crown I insisted we never had to pay this much & they insist this is what we've been paying all along, so I called my insurance & told them about the charges right away they told me that there not in my coverage but network!! After a year of telling me nothing has changed it turns out it was a lie!! My insurance pays in network 100% for cleaning no copy & Crowns at 80% in network & 20% out of network, I have nothing bad to say about the dentist he was actually a professional but don't trust what the front desk tells you please check with your provider first before making an appointment read more

The Pediatric Department of the Riverside Dental Group is absolutely amazing. Albert has been so wonderful helping me get appointments for my granddaughter. He is the best front office person for this department with his calm demeanor and great attitude. I can't say enough about Dr. Muller and her staff. Beautiful, calming waiting area and friendly staff! I HATE HATE coming to the dentist but the carpet and cozy couches in the waiting area make you feel warm and homey. The staff is very friendly. I recently switched dental groups due to a variety of reasons and I had my first appointment at the Riverside Dental Group. There was a persuasive feeling of care and support which began as I was warmly greeted by the receptionists. I was assigned Dr. Harris and he was extremely kind, caring and patient throughout my procedure. I just received a letter today in the mail from their office and it was a card to welcome me to their practice, even signed by the staff. That absolutely made my day! My husband and I have been going her for about 10 years now. The Receptionists, Hygienists, Dentists, and Dental Assistants are all very friendly, I am also surprised of how much they remember me personally with 6 month interval visits. I love that they call or send texts to remind me about appointments, because I forget often. The location is close to where I live and arriving, parking, leaving is convenient and the waiting room is comfortable. The large windows give a relax feeling when siting in the dental chair, awaiting a procedure that may be a bit painful. I think it is great that this is a dental group of more than one doctor. Although I am assigned to one doctor, in a time of an emergency my doctor was not available. But, another doctor (my husband's dentist) was able to see me. This review is based on treatment I received back in December 2020. I had a crown replaced by their recommendation. I specifically asked at the time of service what our financial responsibility would be seeing that we had dual coverage through the end of the year. They gave me a number, I paid no problem. Then I received a large bill months later stating insurance ended up not covering what they had already stated. We called said insurance (which by the way we no longer have due to my husband losing his job due to pandemic) and they have zero record of them contacting regarding billing. I repeatedly asked them to verify the cost of this replacement due to money being tight. They screwed us over big time and have made no effort to right this wrong. We will not be returning due to their lack of communication with us. Oh and by the way, I have gone in to have them adjust my crown because the placement was rushed the first time around (they left me in the waiting room for 45 minutes then had the audacity to let me know that the doctor doesn't like working over) and 5 months later I am still having trouble with it. It really felt like an end of year money grab because my crown was literally not giving me any problems until I went to this place. 0/10 would NOT recommend. During a global pandemic you would think they would be more diligent in providing great care but they left a lot to be desired. Unprofessional & careless. read more

I've been here three times so far and am extremely satisfied with the services I've received. I've had a cleaning and root canal done and honestly couldn't recommend them more. The hygienist was nice and gentle. The dental assistants are kind and so helpful they made sure I was comfortable. The dentist was as gentle as I imagine he could be while performing the root canal. The office is very nice and clean, plenty of space so you don't feel crowded in a tiny office. I've also taken my kids to the pediatric dentist in the same office and it was such a pleasant experience for my toddler who had never been to the dentist before.
