I had a good experience here. I arrived on time. They gave me a COVID questionnaire and took my temperature outside of the lobby before I was even admitted. I had pre-filled all my medical history online before arrival and they had everything, so all they had to do was take a copy of my ID and my insurance card. There were about six of us in the waiting room at 6:30 AM. I was the last to be called back at about 7:30 AM. I was fasting and hadn't had any water for three hours, so I was a little irritated at that. But I understand that they can't take everyone at once. I was there for my first colonoscopy, as I turned 50 last year and now is the time for such things. The pre-admittance nurse, Audrey, was very thorough and helpful and answered all my questions. Once I was back in the surgical preparation area everything went smoothly. They took my blood pressure and blood sugar and everything was normal, so I was ready to get my IV and be prepped for surgery. I was wheeled into the OR at about 8:15 AM and woke up in recovery at 8:35 AM. Everything went smoothly there were no abnormalities. I was very impressed with the doctor, nurses and anesthesiologist. I will definitely return here for a surgical needs in the future. They couldn't have been nicer or more professional!

My husband had surgery here with Dr Tait and everything went as expected, actually better than expected. The entire staff was great, from the check-in to the nurses to the physical therapist. He stayed overnight in one of their beautiful surgical suites and I was free to stay with him but I didn't. They provided restaurant style meals for breakfast lunch and dinner for the both of us. When he would press a call light they would come in within 60 seconds, absolutely so attentive! The staff is professional, patient, friendly and efficient in everything they do. Great place to have surgery and convalesce.

Not long ago my GI doc scheduled me for my second round of EGDs to be done and well with any type of procedure you just pray your heart out cause anything is possible, good or bad. 2nd time around I'm greeted by Natalie who is Dr Mokuolus nurse assistant I find out some time later... her also being a nurse here just showcases her talents and abilities, her great people skills and awesome energy transition really well and make everything that much better. EDG all done it's 2 weeks later and she's who goes over my results with me, safe to say THIS PLACE and Desert Gastroenterology on Wigwam is in good hands with Natalie being around. Clean facility, kinda tricky to find and is located inside another building. Process is fast if you register AT LEAST 3-4 days ahead of your procedure. All the docs and nurses here are extremely helpful and whatever your there for things couldn't be done by a better team of nurses and doctors. Follow anaesthesia rules, no food 8 hours and drinks within 3-4 hrs. 10/10 stars from me. Dr Moku, Natalie, Shay And Ronell THANK YOU LADIES!!!

On Monday I had to complete a manipulation under anesthesia for a knee replacement done a few months back. This was my first visit to this office, I've been to their other office in the valley and had a good experience. Upon arrival, you will check in with a nurse to get your temperature checked and fill out a COVID questionnaire. At that point you enter the office and compete your check in. Soon after my pre op nurses came and took me into the pre op area. They were really nice, here I met with my surgeon, anesthesiologist and the operation room nurses. Once my IV and nerve block was set, they took me into the OR. The OR was spacious and comfortable. I was not awake long. From what I saw the room was modern and seemed nice. In post op, my nurse was pretty amazing ensure any pain was under control and that I was comfortable and alert before discharge. The cool thing was you get a gourmet cookie in post op which was awesome!!!! All in all a very friendly staff!!! Very caring and compassionate so please treat your nurses well. I would recommend this location if your doctor works out of here.

Thank you note from the staff! Love y'all beautiful amazing women!

My adult daughter and I reported to Parkway Surgery Center at 10:00 am for her upper endoscopy. Upon arriving at the location of the surgery center, it's located inside a large building in a suite; we had to locate a parking space as it was filled up with cars. We entered the building and found it to be in a suite on the first floor right inside the doors. My daughter signed in and was handed paperwork to sign and initial as she had already previously preregistered the day before online. The waiting room was clean, brightly lit with plenty of reading material and a t.v. The staff that handles the registration were friendly and helpful The nurse who came out to bring my daughter back was pleasant and kind. She came back for me after she helped my daughter get ready and started the I.V. While my daughter and I waited for her turn, the anesthesiologist stopped by, introduced himself and asked my daughter some questions. He was very good, l reassuring to my daughter who was nervous and anxious. The nurse who would be accompanying my daughter to the procedure room came by and introduced herself. She was friendly and professional. When it came time for my daughter to go back, I left and returned to the waiting room. About 45 minutes later, I was brought back to the recovery area where my daughter was. The RN taking care of her post op was excellent. She removed the I.V. and gave my daughter forms to sign with discharge instructions. I was instructed to go get the car and drive up the door where my daughter would be waiting for me. Picking her up was easy and we left to return home. If or when I have anymore procedures done, I will choose Parkway Surgery Center. This center is one of the most efficient centers I've been too. I also feel that this group of professionals are the most knowledgeable. I trust them with my family's care. I recommend Parkway Surgery Center.

Got my IV put in in ONE shot! Roxie sure knows what she's doing!

Upon entering Dr. Vogels office, one can see immediately what kind of a doctor he and his wife are…read more Literally every square inch of the walls and plexiglass partitions are covered with "DON'T DO THIS" and "DON'T DO THAT". Threats everywhere. I walked in for neuralgia issues on my face, massive scabs covering most of my face, and severe pain. The first question? "Have you tried a TENS unit on your face and head?" um..."where would I attach the pads? The pads won't stick to the scabs nor the hair..." These insipid, irrelevant questions were asked AFTER we'd sat in the waiting room for two hours. Vogel is always overbooked, and his waiting room can't hold everyone. It smells very bad, like it's never been cleaned. Butt sweat and foot odor occupy the room like a pall of pollution. Vogel's arrogance supercedes his knowledge by a fair amount. He put me on questionable meds, and when I questioned them, he lost his temper and practically threw me out of the room. I explained the meds were causing prostate issues and he claimed that was "impossible." He unnecessarily referred me to a urologist who barely did anything except hit us with a large bill. His response to my issue? "When you stop that med, the issue will go away. I cannot speak poorly of another doctor, but I'll tell you you're correct and he's wrong." Vogel on the other hand, trashed the urologist. He insisted the medication wasn't causing the secondary problem, and told me to get used to the med, because "You'll likely be on this for the rest of your life." (I've been off it for three months now, no issues). His office claimed one day, that they'd called me to move my appointment. We showed up on time and were told they'd called. I had received no call, and the call log on my cell proved it. His office essentially called me a liar, and indicated MY PHONE call logs were wrong. Vogel made some smart-ass comment about "if you'd answer your phone, you'd know what time to show up." He also was dishonest from the jump about the meds. I'd had enough of his Swiss-German BS arrogance and narcissism, so looked for another doctor. Meanwhile, his office called and said they again had to move my upcoming appointment. They actually reached my phone, but the date they left had occurred three days previously. We called several times, but were unable to secure an appointment after they canceled one. Turns out, Vogel had "fired us" as patients, because of my complaint about the two hour wait times, and the obnoxiousness of the staff. Vogal may have received the title of "DOCTOR," but he's closer to Dr. Suess in ability, and closer to Dr. NO in terms of human decency. BTW, my urology issues cleared as soon as i stopped the questionable medication Vogel put me on. I did not need to continue the medication, and I'm now entirely medication-free, something Vogel insisted several times, that I could not do. This guy is not trustworthy in my opinion. In my opinion, he belongs in Eastern Europe, where bedside manner, talent, and human decency matter less than here in America. Why pay a doctor to treat you like you're the scum on the bottom of his shoe? Trust Jason N and SS I's reviews. The others are likely paid reviews.

After waiting 2 long weeks for my TPI appointment, I realized that they had mistakenly set up my appointment with Neil. They only confirmed that when they sent me the reminder notice the day before my appointment. I called and spoke to Lauren at the Henderson office regarding the mistake with my appointment. she tried to resolve it and scheduled my TPI for the following day at the Henderson office with Dr wu. They claimed that Dr Wu refuses to administer my appointment without the first appointment that I had called about in early january. This was pushing off my TPI until the end of the month. After an hour or so, I had Dr Wu's assistant call me to discuss the protocol. I explained again the mistakes that were made. I asked why weren't the tpis being administered by Dr Wu the way he had explained it to me? I also explained that my insurance doesn't require the pre-approval so the reason I have been given previously about why three appointments are necessary for one TPI shot had been a lie. Anyway, I was told that their manager would contact my office. I asked, "If this was the same manager that's over the other locations?" She confirmed that it was. I explained that I've dealt with her before and she is the rudest person I've ever spoken with. I was told that she would call me back anyway. I then received three calls from their office and the person on the phone pretended like they couldn't hear me. Yeah right! This is the only doctor's office that I know that requires three appointments for a TPI. They make you come in for an initial appointment, then the TPI appointment and then a follow-up. I had to follow up with my insurance to see why this office is acting in this manner. I also don't understand why the PA will see me without an initial appointment, however Dr Wu will not! Something is definitely up I would go to any other office other than Innovative pain care. Even if the doctors are good, their administrative staff is absolutely incompetent! What was most upsetting was hearing the practice manager MARY CLYMER say, "We just give pills."…read moreThat statement alone perfectly summarized the experience. We were seeking actual medical evaluation and support for my husband suffering chronic spinal pain and limited mobility, not a rushed prescription visit with no compassion or meaningful assessment. To then be told he could return and pay even more money ($150 to $300) for another evaluation after already spending hundreds of dollars ($350) was incredibly frustrating. Patients are being extorted and demeaned in person and over the phone by admin staff. $350 for 5 minutes is enough to submit my formal complaint to the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners. This office presents itself professionally, but our experience felt cold, dismissive, and heavily focused on collecting payment rather than genuinely helping patients in pain. My husband sought treatment at a pain management office after spine surgery because he lost insurance coverage and now has to pay out of pocket while living on disability income. Unfortunately, our experience with this office was extremely disappointing from start to finish. At the first appointment, almost nothing was accomplished because the office claimed they did not have his medical records. I personally offered the records to the front desk, but there seemed to be little interest in obtaining or reviewing them. As a result, we paid for what felt like a completely unnecessary visit just to be told they could not properly evaluate him. I spoke with the Dr.Sharma directly about this and he stated he would address it with his staff. Before scheduling a second appointment, I specifically contacted the office (disrespectful rep) to ask whether the doctor would complete long-term medical disability update forms, because these appointments cost hundreds of dollars and we could not afford to waste money. I was told they "Normally don't," but that the doctor "sometimes makes exceptions." Based on that information, we scheduled and paid for another visit hoping he would finally receive a proper medical evaluation. Instead, my husband was treated with open irritation by the front desk staff. The woman at reception spoke to him rudely, acted annoyed by basic questions regarding billing, and repeatedly stated she "didn't know" why charges were so high. He was unexpectedly told he owed $350 due to a prior balance we were never informed about. Rather than helping clarify anything, the staff directed him elsewhere and treated him like an inconvenience. A black woman whose name I was not able to obtain was bouncing her leg aggressively to make her annoyance pronounced. The actual medical visit lasted no more than five minutes. He was not properly evaluated for pain management. He was not asked to demonstrate mobility limitations, identify pain areas, discuss restrictions, or explain the severity of his symptoms in any meaningful way. He was simply prescribed medication and sent out the door. Days later, we were informed the doctor would not complete the disability paperwork after all. The explanation given was based on an older follow-up note from another provider stating he "may" be able to return to work in several months. I only provided that previously completed form so the office would have a point of reference when filling it out. The entire reason we paid for the appointment was so this office could conduct their own professional evaluation and determine his current limitations. The form I am referring to was only 1 page long. We believe Dr.Sharma's office is forcing unnecessary visits for financial gain, this is unprofessional conduct facilitated by front desk. There is also an additional $100 random drug testing fee that they may charge you for whenever they see fit. Please read all the reviews before entrusting your care with this facility.
