Needing a gluten free alternative my son and I decided to try out Parlor Doughnuts. He ordered half a dozen fancy and I ordered 3 gluten free flavors and 1 doggie donut for the fur boy. We also got two coffees. These are not regular donuts. They are more like a gourmet desert. The gluten free ones tasted like half baked cookie dough, which was pretty good. They were not anything like the regular option but still tasty. Peanut butter/Chocolate was my favorite. Service was excellent. We will definitely try Parlor Doughnuts again in the future. Yall, I wish I could give this place more than just 5 stars.. So my husband and I were in Branson for a conference, and we stayed for 5 days. And 5/5 of those mornings- were spent at Parlor Doughnuts..lol. The atmosphere is clean, quiet, and the employees + owner made our day each morning when we visited! They were the kindest people, knowledgeable, and suggested great options! Let's get real- the doughnuts aren't "traditional" and I swear, that's what makes them superior to other doughnuts. They are unlike anything you've tried. The powdered raspberry filled was easily a favorite! That's tied with the French Toast donut! The coffee was delicious, and the breakfast sandwiches/tacos were on point each morning! I couldn't recommend this place enough. I'm in Memphis, so I can't get my Parlor fix very often. Wow this is a very tough call but I may have found my new favorite donuts of all time. It's not what you expect from a typical donut it has more of a croissant dough but they are not cronuts. The flavors compliment the dough so well from their French toast donut that blew me away to their strawberry shortcake donut, everything is a must try. The vibe in the place is great which lends to a nice spot to come read your book as you chow down your donut and sip your coffee. The staff is very friendly and seem passionate about what they do. Adorable, large open space in a strip center. Charming vibe and friendly service. The donuts are unusual and we loved them. Seasonal Honey Lavender was DIVINE. We also got bourbon caramel, maple bacon, banana cream pie donuts. Oh, and some cinnamon sugar minis and a coconut crème mini. Definitely recommend all. And there were others I wanted to order but I wasn't sure how they would travel back home (a few hours away) bc they had chocolate sauce on them (yum!!). Oh well also had breakfast tacos. They were different than I'm used to but were still delicious. They were folded like a crispy taco and had a fried egg round. It's hard to make a breakfast taco I won't like and this one hit the spot. I just found out there's a Parlor about 40 min from my house and I'm so excited about can have these layered croissant like donuts again sooner than my next trip to Branson. Overall the experience was good. We came in at 3pm and there were probably 20 people in the store. They were out of most donuts. We decided to order 6 minis and asked about the free dip.
