Ordered a breakfast sandwich and coffee and it took 25 mins to get after asking for a refund. When I got to work the sandwich had a refrigerated egg and Gouda cheese that was so old the edges were hard. And it was cold never heated. I guess they need to stick to donuts only. read more

Brand new donut and coffee shop in Farragut. Great location. Plenty of parking. Even though the line was around the building it moved fast and they had plenty of stock. Coffee was warm and yummy. This was our first trip to Parlor Doughnuts and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The shop itself is very cute inside and was surprisingly spacious. We got there around 930 (along with every other Knoxville family with small children, it seemed) and there were still an ample amount of doughnut flavors to choose from so that was a plus. We settled on the turtle cheesecake, peanut butter, campfire, maple-bacon, bourbon-caramel, and raspberry-pistachio. All were FANTASTIC (and didn't last long). Their doughnuts are unlike any I have ever had- more like a croissant; light and airy inside but decadent with the extravagant toppings. My family and I have visited this location together or individually at least 20 and have never received anything but superior food & service...until today. Today's food (and especially service) was SO bad that I don't know if we'll return...certainly not if this afternoon's staff is working. Teenagers are never happy to work so that's all I'll say about the workers. The donuts are giant and pretty good; nothing outstanding. The coffee was cold and bitter. I asked for a fresh cup and the girl really didn't want to make any and I didn't push her. I asked her to take the coffee off my bill and the 2 girls working did not know how to do that. Instead they rang up my order a second time and then voided it, insisting that's how they do refunds. I decided not go back the next day to try to get my money back. The place was dead, even though school was out and it's right across from the school. Not a good sign. read more
