Let me just say, I'm a bit of a donut snob. While there are a lot of donuts "out there" imho there aren't a lot of GOOD donuts out there. These aren't the kinda donuts you just get after stumbling home at 2am, they are special donuts that you put down your phone for. The apple fritter was hands-down my favorite. Soft in the center without being undercooked and crispy edges perfectly drenched in a generous icing bath. The others were also amazing but I didn't realize until after I ordered my custard filled donut that you can actually choose from several flavors Next time I'll definitely be getting a chocolate filled chocolate. The only thing I would change was that the coffee situation didn't look amazing so I opted to slum over to the Weigel's next door. read more

This is a new donut shop in Karns! I'm excited since it's close to the house and they also sell boba tea. I ordered a Jalapeño Kolache and Apple Fritter (for my husband). Excellent customer service- I've never met anyone with such a huge smile. So many choices I was lost - she was able to get me just the right ones. If you like your donuts filled, I was really amazed that she filled them when you ordered. I had one jelly filled and one cream filled and both were overflowing with filling and super fresh. Hands down some of the freshest doughnuts I've ever had. Originally we went for the kolaches, which were really bready, but picked up some doughnuts in case. They filled them right there in front of you, which I had never seen before. I did get there right when they opened, so everything was super fresh.
