French Toast, Banana Pudding and Blueberry Hill. With Banana Pudding Latte
    Lindsey D.

This location is super cute. Very clean and has a modern take on an old school style. The donuts were on displayed and we had a hard time choosing our top 3. The French toast was said to be the top seller and I would rate it 8/10. The banana pudding was a 7/10 but the blueberry hill was 10/10. We should've tried the strawberry shortcake but I will be back to try it. This is our second time and we were able to come in. We ordered from this location before and they were so accommodating to our nut allergy. We also got the banana pudding coffee with almond milk, delicious!

This unique cafe is a must stop! They have tons of unique sweet and savory donuts to choose from and the decor is on point all throughout the cafe. The staff were friendly and attentive and the sausage and egg with fig jam breakfast donut was incredible!

Parlor is incredible . I visit weekly 2-3 times. I was told about this gem from a co-worker. I can't stop returning. I always get an assortment of croissant donuts and will have breakfast tacos- everything is incredible. The coffees , donuts and breakfast. The team providing service are great people and go out of the way to see your satisfied. This is my top donut stop across the nation during all of my travels! Highly recommended!!

The so is in a great location and a perfect stop after visit the farmers market on Saturday mornings. I ended up choosing the Coconut Cream Filled Donut and my husband got the Cookies 'n Cream layered donut. We waited to eat our donuts upon arriving home. Sadly mine tasted burnt and my husband says that his did had some chocolate flavor to it, but really didn't get cream or cookie. I hate it experience wasn't better.

Delicious donuts, snacks, and drinks just off the main strip of downtown Lakeland. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating with an upscale ambiance. Very busy on Saturday but the line moves pretty quickly. The restrooms are a little confusing to find as they are out the rear exit and down a back hallway.

This is a must stop and try place. Im not from Lakeland but for the past 2 years of visiting due to an event, I make sure to stop buy and buy delicious Doughnuts and coffee. Great staff and hot food to start your day.

THANK YOU Parlor Doughnuts for coming to downtown Lakeland! This is a fantastic donut spot that will surely keep busy for years to come. Parlor Doughnuts is originally out of Indiana I believe, so it was very interesting to hear they were expanding to Lakeland- and that first day open was insane. I saw pictures of the line literally out the door, down the street and around the block. Now, after going to try it, I understand and think it's worth the wait. Okay, maybe not that extreme of a wait but 10-15 minutes like when I went was totally fine. The donuts here are a little different in that none of them have holes. They're big pieces of dough with various toppings and some with fillings. But they're also kind of crunchy on the outside while still being soft on the inside and it is a marvelous combination of textures and tasty goodness. I tried the maple bacon, which I'm not sure why because I'm normally never a maple bacon fan. But this was easily one of the best versions of that donut I've ever had. It's literally made me look differently at maple bacon flavors now. The bacon was in smaller, crispier bits and the maple frosting was melty perfection. They have a decent selection of coffees as well, both basic and more complex like cold brews, lattes, etc. We all enjoyed our coffees a lot. Between that and the donuts it was an excellent trip. But they not only serve donuts, if you wanted something else besides the sweets. They do have some breakfast sandwiches/ savory breakfast items on the menu. I tried the breakfast tacos and they were very simple but that made them absolutely delicious and not a crumb was left behind. Lastly, I really love the theme and style Parlor Doughnuts has going on, it's really well done. From the cool tiled floor with all the gold accents and big hanging lamps, it almost feels like this place should be in the midst of NYC or some big city. Very impressed with this place!

Keto...made to order. Dense but yummy.

Absolutely adorable place. The inside has lots of seating and a nice flow. We had some keto donuts (which is what brought us there to begin with) and they were awesome as a treat. My diabetic father liked the cherry and we got cinnamon sugar and cinnamon swirl. The keto are more like little Bundt cakes but still great. Then we got cinnamon swirl and honey glazed regular donuts and they were delicious. They are crispy like a fritter and the light and flakey. We got a coffee too and it was great. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back to try more flavors.

The donuts were amazing! Nice and crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. My favorite was the one pictured the maple bacon. My husband and son both enjoyed the French toast. My husband had the lucky latte and I had the honey cinnamon espresso. Everything was delightful. There was no wait and we got our food and drinks quickly. The dining area was very modern and clean. Lots of seating available including high chairs for littles. The only parking available is street parking or a lot behind the restaurant. We will be back!

All the hype in downtown is all about Parlor Doughnuts. Naturally there was a line, but it moved rather quickly. It looked they had about a dozen or so different kinds of doughnuts. They also have coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I got a maple bacon and a box of cinnamon and sugar holes. The maple bacon had good texture and was fluffy. Not your typical doughnut texture. Almost bread-like. Still tasty. There was a balanced sweet and savory flavor. Personally I would like a thicker cut of bacon and cut into pieces instead of one strip. The cinnamon sugar was really good and fluffy as well. I really didn't have much time to hang out. But from the looks of it, it was decorated nice. I really liked the stark white with black graphics. When I have more time I'll try out the coffee and vibe. Parlor is a great addition to downtown Lakeland. Check it out.

Expensive but this place is clean, tasty and has great service! Great for coffee and a unique donut unlike any other in the area. The ambiance of the indoor and outdoor seating is really great.

Parlor Doughnuts had me giggling and kicking my feet over a pastry. I got the maple bacon and carnival doughnut--both straight up elite. The glaze and texture was super nice, light but still got that oomph, not a dense brick like some spots. Staff was nice and helpful. Ambiance is giving Thomas Jefferson had jeans and a Harley but I feel proud to be an American here. 10/10 would risk unbuttoning my jeans again.

Can't believe I forgot to take a picture of the donuts when we got home LOL. We visited a Parlor Doughnuts when we were in Nashville and were SO excited that lakeland got one too. I'd never had a croissant-like donut in Florida before Nashville. It was just as good as their Nashville location. Donuts were fresh and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. The inside was decorated just like the Nashville location. Will definitely be back.

If you can find a way to get here though you absolutely should. I've been here a couple times and had people bring me things from here and I'm always very happy. My favorite thing I ever had here was a chocolate peanut butter pie, which was mind blowingly good. However, everything I've had from here has been pretty spectacular. I highly recommend the cookies here. I really love cookies, but their brown butter cookie is incredible. The pastries are really good too. I really enjoy the glazed croissant and I recently had a lemon twist that was very good. Finally, the sandwiches that I've had from here are both really good as well. I've only had the breakfast sandwiches, but I enjoyed the hot honey sausage biscuit and the bacon breakfast sandwich. 5 stars.

We weren't sure we should eat in our car or the bake shop, but are very glad we decided to eat in the shop. The sandwiches were the most messy sandwiches we have ever eaten. There was so much mayonnaise tasting sauce. The crust was too hard to eat, but the bread itself was great. The sandwiches aren't cut, which made eating even more difficult as it was near impossible to bite through the crust. We ended up with a pile of soup/sauce on the napkins we had to put on the table under where we were eating. No plates are available. If I ordered a sandwich again, I would ask for minimal or no sauce. The cruffin was great, but again, very messy to eat. Ordering is at the counter (or online) and when the screen is flipped around, the screen shows a suggested tip over 20%. This is before even receiving your food. I couldn't find the no tip option and chose the lowest amount which was 15% or more. My total was over $40. If I stopped by again, I may buy a loaf to go and a chocolate croissant (to enjoy at home).

Appetizer of fried green tomatoes was marred by slices of tomato that were so thick that the knives on the table were incapable of cutting them. This same issue carried over to the green tomato blt, which was almost impossible to eat bc of bread that was also too thick. The bacon was so overcooked as to be dry sticks that shattered into tiny bits when you tried to eat the sandwich. The fries were allegedly hand cut, but looked & tasted like (cold) seasoned frozen steak fries. The FSKB chicken salad croissant was just a soggy mess. And the eggs Benedict featured "Canadian Bacon", which is a US marketing term for round slices of bacon, not Back Bacon or Peameal Bacon that is actually served in Canada. We opted not to order a main course due to eating just a couple hours prior but I knew right then and there that I'd be back to try other selections from the menu. Pricing seems to be below average with "happy hour" pricing at specified times daily. Highly Recommended!

The vibe is awesome with brick walls, tasteful decor, and pleasant music, and just what I look for in a local coffee shop. Prices are fairly reasonable with many drink and food options. Although there was a bit of line when I visited, it moved quickly and staff was efficient in getting ordered items out to guests. I went with a white mocha frappe (5/5), asking for it to be made less sweet. It's not something I ordinarily see on the menu at local coffee shops, so was delighted at how good it was, with just the right amount of sweetness to it. It's shame that there's nothing like it at coffee shops close to where I live, as it's something that'd be in my regular rotation of caffeinated drinks I'd order. As my friends and I enjoyed our experience here, I'd definitely return to Black & Brew, and would recommend them to others looking for a quality coffee shop in Lakeland.

So many options. A long buffet of salad. A long buffet of hot foods and plenty of side dishes. Desserts Yum. I started off with the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn casserole, macaroni and cheese, chicken and dumpling soup and a soft sweet roll. And that was just plate number one. I'm not gonna go over every single thing I ate, but let's just say I truly think that this place is a must go to for dinner, lunch or breakfast. We enjoyed our dinner so much tonight that we are actually going back again tomorrow to do this again. The menu rotates and changes daily so there's plenty of food options and it is all you can eat. So my advice is simple. Go to this restaurant and go hungry and be ready to meet some really nice people and have a really good time.
