I loved the selection of doughnuts available. Sometimes the speciality shops don't offer enough variety but parlor doughnuts had a great selection. I stopped in on a Saturday morning, the staff was friendly and answered a few Questions I had about the doughnuts. The shop was small, so there isn't much room to sit but it was kept nice and clean. If you haven't been here yet it's definitely worth the visit!

This place was right across the street from the place we were staying, The Burnham. It is only open 7-3 and everything smelled so good. We should have stopped in earlier as by the afternoon all they had left was the coconut cream filled minis. We were not disappointed and the cashier tossed in an extra one as they were running out for the day. They even have savory layered doughnuts that i'd love to try.

This is worth a visit just know you are best going on a day with a lot of planned movement to benefit from the sugar high you will experience. This is the kind of place where you walk in order & are handed a box with your purchase. While some folks were standing around eating it was not an eat-in spot. They supply you a small box so you don't have eat it immediately but isn't it always a little better as fresh as possible? The doughnut is a yeast one (opposed to a cake). It had some croissant feel to it as well which I enjoyed and seemed to result in less yeast taste which is my usual issue with this type of doughnut. They come with several topping options. I tried the maple bacon and hubs got the carnival one. The sugar frost on top can be a little much and I do wish the maple taste was a little more prominent on mine. They also had warm beverages but I felt like the doughnuts had enough sugar. I would visit again (& we may before we leave town).

Hands down these are the BEST donuts in the world! I've had them in SC. I was in town for the weekend and noticed this location right by my hotel last night. Lucky for me, they opened at 6:30 Sunday morning and I was able to get some before heading the airport! SO DAMN GOOD!

Super cute place with unique donuts. Loved my pepperoni pizza donut. The individual who took and prepared my order was also a fellow Sox fan from MA. Loved the decor. Very close to the Music City Center and arena if you're in the area.

Walked over to parlor for our first official breakfast on vacay. The line wasn't too bad and it always helps when you're standing in the most heavenly smell of freshly baked donuts. They were not your average donut and they had the most amazing variety. We went with French toast and lemon. Omg amazing. Both were moan worthy. I preferred the lemon because (and I hate that I'm writing this) the other was too sweet. Pair it with a black coffee though and you've found perfection.

Great variety of donuts, friendly staff, good location, minimal seating inside. I got French Toast and Strawberry Shortcake. Both great but I liked strawberry one more. French Toast basically just Maple flavor so I may as well have gotten Maple Bacon. I went around 10:30am. I kinda wish the donuts were a little warm. Seemed slightly cold/hard. I would def go back to try more though

Wow, what can I say about this maple bacon doughnut that the photo doesn't say. I have to say it's one of the best donuts I've ever had and the best maple bacon donuts I've ever had. It's more like a breakfast cake that gives you a fix for your sweets for the entire day. Nice job parlor donuts.

I ordered the mini doughnut special ahead of time of pick up, but alas they were sold out when I got there. HOWEVER, manager on duty was super apologetic about it and allowed me to choose any other doughnut in the store as a replacement, AS WELL AS gave us an additional one for the inconvenience. The yummies are delicious and despite it not being their fault (this joint is first come first serve as everything is baked fresh daily), they went out of their way to "Make it right", when honestly -- I ordered at 9:30a on a Saturday with both the Preds and Titans playing that weekend, so clearly there were a ton of people in town and visiting their location. 10/10. Appreciated the kindness, smiles and delicious treats!

Amazing selection of donuts if you get there in time. Depending on the time of day you may have to wait a bit in line but it's worth it!

Absolutely delicious. So fresh. The line was long but absolutely worth the wait. Cute little spot and very convenient easy to get to. Just finished it and already craving more!!

Best donuts in the USA! Parlor Doughnuts simply cannot be beat; they boast every flavor from rich dark chocolate to fruity and cinnamony. I have had the privilege of trying many different kinds and they are all amazing. These really truly do melt in your mouth. I have no idea how they do it, but Parlor doughnuts are a mix between the best fried donut and the best croissant you have ever had. The glazes are magnificent and taste just as they are described. Unlike other donuts these stay fresh for a few days which is nice when you want an ongoing tasty treat. This location is small but packs a punch with their inventory and flavors per usual. The store itself is small and the inside doesn't have much room, so take them to go. There is a huge American flag that screams that parlor is proud to be an American (one of the many things to love about Nashville), and the place has a heavenly aroma. The prices are astronomical; not cheap! However, its worth every penny. You get what you pay for, and it this case it's damn good donuts! The service at this location was a bit disgruntled the day we visited, but maybe it was a bad day? He still got us what we wanted and we were happy. If you like donuts at all (if you don't, I don't know you), you have to make your way to Parlor Doughnuts, they are the best around!

    Campfire, Maple Bacon, French Toast

Doughnuts are quite solid - excellent balance of crispy and chewy. They are sweet but the texture was the best part. French Toast lives up to the name and Maple Bacon is a nice balance with not too much bacon flavor. Campfire was a favorite of my daughter. Coffee decent, though would love a darker roast option.

He had them on a previous trip a couple years ago and they obviously were so memorable it was his only request. On our last day before heading home to NC we got out early to be there shortly after they opened so we could have the best selection. Wow! I remember when the cronut became a huge thing and I took a trip to NYC to try them from Dominque Ansel Bakery. They are delicious. These from Five Daughters truly are so so good too! Plus they have more variety and I don't need a plane ticket! The service is very friendly and they didn't rush me making my choices. The interior is bright and welcoming and although they don't have any indoor seating there are some tables outside to sit and enjoy your treats. 10/10 I'll be back when I'm in Nashville or near any other Five Daughters locations again.
