I tried their pancake sampler, with cinnamon, Caribbean and banana bread pancakes. They were all good, fluffy, airy and flavorful. Banana bread with their maple syrup, Caribbean with cinnamon. But, their cinnamon pancakes were amazing!! Those were definitely the winner!!! Best pancakes I've ever had. Their three pig omelette was pretty bomb as well. I got some of their sausage gravy on the side, to douse the omelette and that was definitely the move there. I think this is the first time I didn't need to use cholula for flavoring. The location is centralized, set up nicely, with huge open indoor space with plenty of seating outside. The service was great as well. Attentive and fast. All in all, I wish I had the time to come here yesterday, so I could try something different today. But, I took the place for everything it had and it definitely delivered. Look at my picture. The pancakes are small, they don't even fill the plate. It's not worth going out of your way to eat here. It's definitely not worth the hype or a long wait. The breakfast at Cracker Barrel is better and you get more for you money. If you're ever in Kansas City stop in at the Big Biscuit. That's how breakfast is supposed to be.

Another person came out and I asked if she was the owner .... she was. Such a nice and friendly person. We chatted a few minutes before she went back in. She let us know they were open and we ordered. I tried the chicken and waffles with a peach mimosa. Delicious!!! It came with scrambled eggs and they were nice and fluffy. The chicken strips were nicely seasoned. The waffles were amazing. Soft but didn't break or get mushy when you put syrup on them. Light, airy and good. No complaints. We didn't need to add salt or anything else to the meal. They are located a few minutes from downtown. Give them a try.

It was late in the evening on a Sunday, but they were surprisingly busy though it did not take long to get served once we ordered. I sent all the saffron and pistachio ice cream and immediately that's what I wanted. Luckily before I made my decision I noticed that they had a Gulab option with that ice cream. Gulab jamun is one of my all-time favorite desserts so this was a must for me. All I can say is if you come here and you don't get that I'm extremely disappointed in you. This is a must visit if you're in the area. I know they have a new location at Lost and Found over in East Nashville as well so hopefully they have the full menu offering there. They are super nice and this is a different kind of ice cream experience that I would recommend over any of the ice creams available in 12 south or in most parts of the town.

The strawberry, mango, butterscotch and Indian coffee were all damn good! My kid enjoyed playing Jenga while he devoured his ice cream. If you are looking for a nice coffee/dessert spot - this has to be on your list.
