Key Lime Pie doughnut and Reimagined Strawberry Shortcake doughnut
    Stepfanie W.

I've stopped into Parlor Doughnuts in College Park several times and I've never been disappointed! I've never had a doughnut that didn't taste anything less than incredible and fresh. Doughnuts taste kind of like a croissant doughnut. The service here is always great too, employees are happy to answer any questions and make recommendations. Stopped in today and so excited to try some of the summer flavors!

We heard good things about Parlor Doughnuts, so while we were in the area we decided to give them a try. The staff was nice and very attentive. They made my coffee just the way I like it. However, I absolutely hated the donuts. They're not your traditional texture, they were more flaky...like croissants. I was extremely disappointed, not my thing at all. Good coffee, terrible donuts.

First time here, and it was way better than expected. I loved the entire vibe! I came a little later in the day but the donuts were still nice and fresh. Perfectly soft and delicious. I got the summer seasonal donuts and I highly recommend the Key Lime Donut! Plus the Banana Pudding Latte was so so good! And of course I couldn't leave without getting a Dog Donut for my little guy at home. It came in the cutest little bag! I definitely be coming back!

So first of all, service here is rude. For spending $16 on 2 donuts and 2 sodas, I'm not impressed. Pretty much all of the people working were standoffish and asking for anything was like I was asking for the world. I saw this place recommended for Vegan Donuts and the donuts themselves were terrible, I'm assuming bc they are also gluten free. They just fell all over the place and were super dense. Definitely would not recommend.

The inside is very clean and welcoming. There are like 5 million options to choose from which was really fun. These donuts are massive so make sure you plan ahead (I didn't eat for a week). Honestly though, they are delicious. Big, layered, sugary! The service was sick too.

In my many years on this earth I have eaten many things, and its rare for a food as common as a donut to make me stop and have to slow down and experience it like this layered doughnut made pause. We saw these savory doughnuts on Instagram and had to try them. Let me tell you , you need to try them. The chicken bacon ranch is so delicious, creamy crunchy, noticeable chicken and bacon on every bite. The little parmesan bites and dipping sauce are a great side. The peperoni are good as well but peperoni is just very standard and hard to mess up, if that's your thing you will enjoy it. We were going to order to go but the place was so inviting and clean we decided to stay. The only thing that did bother me was the wobbly tables, I'm particularly bothered by wobbly tables. So if you feel the same be warned. The savory stuff was so good we couldn't help but sample the sweet ones. They were fluffy and crunchy and not overly sweet. I really loved the Lemon one and my nephew loved the campfire! The staff was so nice and patient, I'm sure they deal with undecisive people like me all the time because all the doughnuts look so good. They smiled we joked and laughed, in the end I had to buy a pin and will definitely be back for another treat next time we are in the area.

I finally stopped by to get two larger donuts and a small few ones to share with my parents. I went with a raspberry pistachio, another with crushed pistachio atop it and some minis. My Mom is not a fan of donuts so my father and I ate these. There are some parking spots in front but it is a pain when people decide to linger, talking out front when one is trying to get a spot to quickly hop in and get an order. My order was $10 and they were all very tasty. The service was quick and friendly.

First time trying these...really good. I tried the raspberry pistachio one. It reminded me of a croissant doughnut. I did feel like it was missing something though...almost like jelly in the middle. The other donuts look great! Everyone enjoyed them. I loved that they put the flavors of the donuts on the inside of the box

Wow these are a winner! Omg! The donuts are amazing! The veriaty of flavors from sweet to savory! What a great idea to have a choice of sweet or savory. The ladies behind the counter working were very sweet. And the orders came out fairly quick. We started off with savory combos each. I got the pepperoni combo with the parmesan minis and marinara sauce. My husband ordered the chicken bacon ranch combo with the parmesan minis as well but with the beer cheese. Both were delicious! But I personally feel that the chicken bacon ranch one was more flavorful obviously because it had more topping on it. The savory donut itselves were like biting into a croissant. Soft but flacky yet crunchy in every bite all at once. What an awakening tasty surprise! Something I would have never though of but it perfectly works well together. A win for the savory! After that we decided to have dessert. We ended up ordering the box of 6. Lemon bar , honey glazed, regular classic glazed, s'more, churro and turtle cheesecake! I have yet to try them a few. But so far we ate the classic glazed and the lemon. Omg! What a treat! The classic glazed was perfection ! Not to overbearingly sweet. The lemon bar was fantabulous! Again not too sweet. A hint of crunchiness with the soft pillowy center. The lemon flavor was perfect without the acidity. The others have yet to be tasted. Half of one or one is enough for me personally. They are big enough to keep you satisfied! Yet your eyes keep looking back at the box every so often and you hear it calling your name and saying, eat me! But not everyone is strong enough to resist the urge. I'm looking forward to going back soon and trying different flavors.

Update: So I went back again and tried the Keto and Vegan friendly donuts. As mentioned before I'm not a big fan of doughnuts, I think for me it's the texture and sweetness, so when I got the Keto and Vegan friendly donuts, I was surprised that it tasted like cake! I ended up getting the seasonal Autumn ones and out of all of them I liked the vegan one more only because it had bits of apple on top. While I did like the taste, I felt the price was a bit much for something that is smaller than their regular donuts and something that they probably get in packages. I will say my husband did not like these at all, he said he tasted something off in the icing (he is a doughnut lover though). I think that if you're not used to Keto/Vegan sweets and you like the texture of regular doughnuts, you might not like these. Service was great as always and it wasn't crazy packed like last time which was nice.

These were some of the best doughnuts I've had in a long time . The ambiance was chill there are seats to dine in & you can also get your order to go. The customer service was great and the line was long, but it moved fast . I dined in & ordered Avocado toast , 3 doughnuts and a energy refresher drink . Everything was great. My refresher was a Medium tropical energy refresher. The Avocado toast came on sourdough bread with eggs . The doughnuts I ordered to go & chose French toast, mango parfait, & strawberry shortcake . I love filling stuffed doughnuts so Mango parfait was my fav of the three, but I did love them all and would order them again.

I love Parlor Doughnuts! Anytime that I'm traveling, I hunt down the closest location. This location is small, but all the tables were being utilized by people on their computers. I love a spot where you can work at! The lady behind the counter was nice. I got the cookie n' cream donut and a caramel macchiato. Their donuts are layered or more like the texture of a croissant. When you look at them in the display case they all look super sweet, but it's actually the opposite. They're not too sweet at all. They're also a pretty big donut in size. My husband really liked the maple pecan. I'd highly recommend giving this place a try!

    Victor B.

Good donuts but so sweet and huge! I would split with someone so you can try more flavors We got to go, so don't know about the service of ambiance there!

We tried several of their sandwiches and a tray of donuts. The pork sandwich was decent, I'm not a fan of the bbq sauce, a bit too thin for my liking, not real option for hot either, lot of sweet or vinegar options, which sweet bbq + sweet donut = a bit overkill. Some heat would have been nice. The bbq overall was a 6/10 as there wasn't anything that stood out as a star or that you'd get anywhere else. The donuts were way too sweet for us, they are well done, but if you like super sweet then they'll be right up your alley. There wasn't much for service as we ordered from the counter and sat ourselves at the table. Overall I'd say check them out!

Friends, this place is proof that compromise can be beautiful. Sweet meets spicy meets (meats?) savory. Plan on smelling like a smoky glazed donut the rest of the day. PS. If anyone wants to bring this concept to KC, I'd like to be considered an early investor. Parking wasn't an issue either. As I walked in, I was greeted by who seemed to be the owner and a young woman. Very nice, lovely staff. Everyone was so sweet. My only issue was that they didn't have a good portion of their menu ready and it's mostly because they didn't have the gravy for their dishes. The ones we wanted came with gravy and the staff let us know they were behind on making it. So we pivoted and tried their prime rib smash burger but unfortunately that felt a little disappointing. For the price that it was, you'd think that you'd get a decently portioned burger or some sides with it but it was super tiny. And the bun felt like grocery bread, the type you can get for a home bbq. It was still delicious but rather disappointing at the same time. We ended up having to order a third dish just to feel satisfied and at least it was very good. The bowls are worth it, maybe not the burger but the bowls for sure! I also snagged up a donut and truthfully that is one of the best donuts I've ever had. Another downside to this spot and why I didn't give it a 4 star is because how slow the service was. We watched a whole family get up and leave because it was taking so long, I actually felt bad for the staff and owner. The place has great tasting food, just needs a little shaping up. Maybe someone who can run the kitchen as a head chef. Overall, I still recommend the place but just know that you'll be waiting a while and some things may not be available.
