We heard about Parlor through a friend and tried them for ourselves. Just gotta say they are DELICIOUS. We got a dozen just to try as many as we could. The doughnuts are full of flavor and the texture is soft and flaky. We were not disappointed and we loved them so much we went back the next weekend. The coffee is equally amazing and made with care. It rivals (and exceeds Starbucks). Incredible flavors that make your taste buds stand up and salute. The visits were complete with the friendly staff welcoming us and seeing us off with a smile. Never ever buy these delectable confectionary sorcerers concoctions. They are highly addictive and have the perfect blend of soft fluffy layers of croissant style texture mixed with a outer crunch layer or something I can't really describe. And when you top it with the maple, or caramel (liquid drug butter sauce/ icing) you will be hooked. And then you try to figure out when they are the freshest, but since they make them throughout the day, odds are they will have all the flavors. And did you know that they have an original LAMARZOCCO Espresso machine?!!! The ones Starbucks got rid of over 10 years ago. So, yes they have the top notch coffee drinks as well. Not for the kids. HELLO CRONUT! Had no idea this place had cronuts until we arrived. Based on the photos, I assumed gourmet donuts but these were great! My girlfriend and I got the strawberry shortcake, raspberry pistachio, maple bacon, and their seasonal mint chocolate cronuts to share. Wage also got a hot latte and I got the matcha iced latte with a splash of chai. Out of the four cronuts, the mint chocolate was our least favorite. Doesn't mean it wasn't great! We were just expecting a different cronut and were given this one. There's a chocolate filling and amazing whipped cream on top. 7/10 Strawberry shortcake was my favorite! The slices of strawberry on top gave it a nice tang to balance out all the sweet. I don't think the flavor ratio matched how big the cronut was but I would get this again 9/10 Maple bacon was my girlfriends favorite! There was a nice balance of sweet and salty. You can tell these were baked the same day. I saw the raspberry pistachio online and came highly recommended. Though I really loved the flavor, there wasn't enough frosting for me. Again these Cronuts are thick and dense, so I felt the ratio was a bit off. However I loved the texture from the pistachio. 8/10 I was disappointed in the matcha latte because it really looked so tasty. Unfortunately I couldn't taste the matcha at all. I felt like it tasted more liked flavored milk minus the flavor. 4/10 Overall I would recommend this spot and would come back again! Just not for the matcha. read more

Not your typical donut shop! They have a wide selection of CRONUTS, coffee, and even matcha! Located in South lake next to a breakfast joint and juice bar. We got the classic cinnamon sugar mini donuts, strawberry shortcake, maple bacon, and french toast. The classic mini donuts come with a side of glaze dip & you can choose from vanilla, chocolate, or maple. The strawberry shortcake is personally my go to now, it's not too sweet & soooo fluffy and delicious. The maple bacon is perfect if you're looking for sweet & savory, the bacon isn't too overpowering yet had a sweet maple finish. Their matcha drinks looked good but I didn't get a chance to try them yet, definitely will be back to order those. The strawberry matcha is what's catching my eye! Pleasant ambiance, the decor was cute. Gold brass fixtures, floor design, and stanchion really make the place seem like a "parlor". Staff was friendly and helpful. read more

So good!!! I MUCH prefer the texture and croissant like consistency of these donuts to your typical donut shop kind. So soft and moist. I got the coconut cream today and it was absolutely delectable. My husband doesn't even like coconut and he went crazy over it. We got a 6 pk for $26 after tax, so these are not cheap. BUT they're so delicious I really do not mind the price. It's well worth it and they're fairly large. The French toast flavor is really great too, and the sandy beach. If you miss the cinnamon twists that Starbucks used to carry and then discontinued back in the day- you'll get your nostalgia fix with the sandy beach donut. We've always gotten a dozen donuts for special occasions, birthday mornings and such, and we've always driven to Ft Worth to get Hurts but I think we're going to be switching to Parlor now. The inside of the shop is also super adorable and they serve different types of coffee. It seems like it'd be a great place to meet up with someone for a coffee date. read more

So, here's the thing. I wish this place had more customers, i really do. The donuts are amazing. The filled ones even better (and the same price!). But there's also things that take away from the experience. Service first. On one of my times there the attendant was inaudible. Not because of loud music (they play none), not because I'm hard of hearing, he was literally mumbling into his shirt! I had to bend over the counter just to have him tell me they didn't have and never had the donut that I had gotten the week before! Two minutes later the manager comes out and corrects him letting me know they do in fact make it. It was absolutely awful having to deal with the kid. The aforementioned donut was their local feature which the manager went on to talk about in welcome detail (banana cream filling) and is something I would recommend to EVERYONE. I mean these donuts are out of this world. They're flaky and cronut-esque but they make sure to correct anyone making the comparison, which at first I didn't get, but after trying I recognize these are unique and in their own category. Have I mentioned the FILLINGS?! Here's a tip, up the price on the filled by a dollar or 2, and fill them up to the brim. Make them heavy. Make them something that you can't help but take pictures of and post on social media. Enable content creation and foodies will be driving here to have one of those "instagram donuts" just like how they line up in New York for circle croissants. Back to the service though, they have a rewards program that gives a free donut or coffee for Signing up. I've come twice since then and none of the staff have been able to redeem my reward nor have I been able to log either of my purchases into the system even after handing them my phone, they just can't figure it out, not with my email or phone number! Don't advertise a system that you can't work! It's not like ohh new system we gotta work the kinks out, it's completely non-functional. I wish this place had more people walking in though, imagine walking in to the beautiful display full of donuts, some hipster in the corner working on their screenplay, the lingering smell of coffee, all that's missing is this ambiance! I hope Parlor steps it's game up because I drive up with high hopes, excited, hungry, wanting to make it a regular spot, but I keep everytime I walk out I'm let down knowing that they could be great but are lacking critically in key areas. read more

Nothing too special. The place was extremely quiet and had no music playing so it was really awkward when trying to decide what to order and waiting for the drinks to come out. This is a good place to come and study but be sure to bring your headphones to avoid the awkward silence.. I got the hot lavender late with oat milk and it was pretty good! Coming from Chicago, I needed a good dose of big fluffy authentic doughnuts! Been missing it for a while until I found this one and got settled with it. I'm not looking for donuts anymore now that I have my precious Parlor. If it were closer to me, I would not be able to resist to not buy more often. Located a bit in the off places, I hope they will open more shops so they can reach wider communities. People need their doughnuts!! The sign outside their shop is not so readable with their font and even their to go box is not clear with the donut brand which is unfortunate if they're trying to be at the top of people's mind. Anyways, the shop is pretty and nice. I wish the donuts were always warm and straight out of the oven but it's not so you may want to heat it up for a few seconds if bringing it home. Today was my fifth visit to Parlor Donuts, and I usually love their fruit tart donut because it's typically loaded with fresh fruit and cream cheese topping. Not today! The fruit was soggy, and my donut had sprinkles and fruit stem remnants. When I asked for more cream cheese, as there was a small amount, the guy at the counter smirked and said," I don't know how I would charge you for a little bit more". I was also told no because each donut has a set amount. Obviously mine did not meet the customary amount! This response came from the assistant manager, who should have addressed the issue directly and asked to see my product. The store was very slow, with only me and one other customer. So it wasn't like she was too busy. I was simply turned away. This experience is not the norm, but please take pride in your product and customer service. Poor service! I won't be back!! Do better, Parlor Doughnuts-Southlake! Please note-The young lady at the counter was AMAZING. The others were careless and snobby! And by the way take the time to clean up your tables after visits! I went there for the 2nd time with my family this morning. The doughnuts were good and I was happy with my choices (along with my kids). Since we we've liked the Doughnuts, we thought we'd be equally happy with the food . . WRONG. Their avocado toast is a joke. It's regular white bread with wholly guacamole on top (along with a nicely sliced hard boiled egg). Completely flavorless and a waste of $9. Huge shout out to Parlor Southlake for being open on New Year's Day. We decided that donuts were an appropriate way to start 2024 and our "other "donut shop was closed. Fortunately for us, parlor was open, and I had been wanting to try it anyway, so this was a perfect occasion. General consensus: wow!! The chocolate doughnut was fantastic, the turtle cheesecake doughnut was outstanding, and my other favorite was the French toast doughnut. Raspberry pistachio doughnut was fine, but not special. Drooling as I think about that chocolate doughnut. Five stars! read more

My daughter and I came by this week for specialty donuts. As far as food taste/quality - excellent! They claim that they make in small batches and we witnessed that. Now, for the service! When we walked in the girl was sitting on the counter where coffee drinks are prepared. She begrudgingly slid off the counter and mumbled something I guessed was "what can I get you?" I paid, tipped and we sat and ate our donuts. My daughter went back to the counter to order a breakfast sandwich. Another girl came from the back (she also looked miserable) and mumbled a couple orders in three different packages. My daughter ordered a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich and walked up stating her sandwich order. The girl hands her a bag and we go to the car where she opens up to find a sausage biscuit. My daughter takes it back to the girl and she mutters " You grabbed the wrong one" (Note - she HANDED my daughter the wrong item). The girl gives her the correct item and then takes the bag with sausage biscuit and handed it to a customer. You don't have to have restaurant/food service experience to know that is NOT the right thing to do. I would give the food a 5 and the service a 1. The girls should consider another line of work...they clearly did not want to be there. read more
