Though Parlor Doughnuts locations are available across the country - including my hometown of Houston, Texas - I'd never been until a recent work trip to the Valley. We needed a handful of coffees (and perhaps a few pastries) before a work event, so we ordered online and they were available within minutes for pickup: churro donuts paired with hot and iced coffees... Note that if you arrive in the afternoon near closing time, they'll be out of many donut options. So go early!

Parlor Doughnuts offers a different kind of donut. I expected your typical donuts but this place has a unique variety of flavors and the donuts are made crispy on the outside, but fluffy on the inside. The store reminded me of a diner like theme. Kind of cozy with the loveseat and chair section. Very clean on the inside. This is a great place for vegan/gluten friendly, and a keto friendly doughnuts. I was so hungry and thought I would get a doughnut, but to my surprise they also had a breakfast menu. I tried the breafast sandwich on an unglazed donut. It was pretty tastey. I didn't order a doughnut when I ordered the breakfast sandwich to dine-in and had planned to order one to-go. By the time I was done, the line to order was almost out the door, so I have to go back for a doughnut another time.

Came here actually on Thanksgiving but was closed (should have assumed that) however we were out and about and decided to pop in on our way home. My wife has been to the Oceanside location in Cali so she was pretty impressed. Coffee is good, although I had to ask if they could heat my Americano in the microwave as it was luke warm only. Got the maple bacon and bourbon caramel donuts. They tased good but the dough was a little chewy - May have been yesterday's bake! Overall the coffee is very nice (Che k your preferred temps tho). Service was good and quick, and the girls on the counter are very nice. Place was quiet as we were the only ones there at the time. Definitely will be back to try a few other options.

These are good! Maybe not the magical experience I was expecting but I'm realistically I think my expectations may have been a bit too high. I bet they would be amazing first thing in the morning. Our favorites were the French toast, sandy beach, and strawberry cheesecake. Fluffier than a regular donut.

Cute place nearby asu and great place to study as it's so spacious! The doughnut dough was very fluffy however the frosting is very sweet ( French toast is sweeter than the sandy beach). However the coffee isn't the best and tastes a bit watered down to me but overall a nice place.

The Doughnuts at Parlor Doughnuts are creative, delicious and addictive. I tried the French Toast, Churro, and Blueberry Hill Doughnuts on a recent trip to Tempe. The French Toast Doughnut was airy and flakey with a creamy sweet cinnamon glaze and fluffy powdered sugar. The Churro Doughnut was flakey and covered in rich chocolate and powdered cinnamon. Finally, the Blueberry Hill Doughnut was nicely dense and savory with a rich blueberry flavor and filled with a sweet jam layer. Overall, these were phenomenal doughnuts and a must try.

This spot is so good! I had been wanting to try them when they were in CA and so happy they're here in AZ now! Located in Tempe this spot is cute, clean and plenty of spots for sitting and enjoying your food. The employee was super friendly and patient while we decided what we wanted to order. We ordered 5 doughnuts, coffee, breakfast taco and breakfast sandwich. These are essentially Cronuts (croissant donuts) and the BEST things on my mind right now. There is so many different flavors and they are all amazing in their own right. The breakfast taco I got with bacon and it's on a corn tortilla, so simple and good. The breakfast sandwich was simple and great as well, soft little biscuit and delicious. The coffee was okay, maybe a bit of burned beans but I'm pretty picky with my coffee. Overall, AMAZING and cannot wait to come back for more!

Holiday flavor (I believe eggnog) so good! The other is a sandy beach ( my favorite)

This is such a great place! The best doughnuts! Super fresh doughnuts. Love the sandy beach the best. The chocolate is good as well. Also tried the sausage biscuit one occasion and it was delicious. Had a little sweetness from the jam ( not too much) and it was the perfect balance of a little sweet and savory. They also have savory options offered as well. I really enjoy their single origin coffee. I have also tried a brown sugar maple latte which was good too. Definitely recommend. Super friendly service the few times I have been to this location. Has great space to relax and enjoy too.

If you're looking to elevate your donut experience, Parlor Donuts is a must-visit. I expected something along the lines of Voodoo or Pink's, but Parlor is in a league of its own. Is it a donut, a pastry, a cake, or a pie? Maybe all of the above! What I do know is that every bite took my palate on a magical journey--layers of flaky softness and satisfying crunch, just the right amount of sweetness, and decadent cream that left me craving more. The cozy, inviting atmosphere makes it even better. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even making us two vegan donuts upon request.

Stopped in for the first time and was amazed! The staff is super friendly, the doughnuts all look amazing. The music was vibing too. I got the bourbon caramel doughnut and it was everything I could have hoped for. It has thus incredible crunch with a soft and fluffy center, so good!

Not impressed. I found this place through an Instagram video and was excited to try it but was dissapointed when I walked in. The employees weren't that welcoming or excited. The place is cute and decorated nicely. A good amount of the doughnut flavors were already sold out at 9 am on a Wednesday morning. I tried the churro and carnival doughnuts. They were too sugary and too much frosting. I didn't think the texture of the doughnut was good, definitely not worth the price. The bacon, egg, and cheese was also bland and not worth it.

Love this location! So many fun and delicious flavors to choose from. Today we got lemon and coconut. Cute inside, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Easy parking in and out.

The waiter and bartender were attentive and knowledgeable. The menu wasn't huge but it was a great variety of options. Table had some salads, flatbreads, burgers and a round of butter cake desserts. Each was really, really good. Way more sophisticated plates than expected. Also had a bunch of craft cocktails, unique and well made. Sometimes the best experiences are unplanned. I am a HUGE fan of pistachio and gin so immediately I had to get his drink but it was beyond mediocre. Are we drinking only syrup??? My last complaint is the coconut tres leches dessert.... Do we actually know how to make tres leches or we just naming desserts however we want? Just curious. It came out super hot, steaming more like a molten cake. As a Hispanic woman, I was expecting a creamy moist cake to celebrate my graduation but this was not it as well. Last but not least if the bald manager with the orange shirt wants to eat in the back of the kitchen, not the problem I get it (I work at restaurants) HOWEVER shoving your two index fingers into your mouth to get your debris out was my last straw. Like I said I like this restaurant and never had problems but today felt like a fever dream there.

While the ambience is fairly simple, the overall experience is a positive one, especially once the food arrives. I ordered the lox and bagel and was impressed by how substantial the portion was. The lox was generously layered, with a large amount of arugula on top. The arugula appeared to be lightly dressed with olive oil, which added great flavor. While it did not fully align with my personal dietary preferences, it was well executed, and I would be happy to return to see if it can be adjusted. The dirty chai was another highlight in terms of flavor. It was well spiced and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Although it was described as very hot when delivered, it arrived closer to lukewarm, but the taste itself was enjoyable. Service was efficient and attentive. The check was dropped off relatively early, which initially felt a bit quick, but our server continued to check in on us throughout the meal, creating a balanced and courteous experience. The fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent, and everything we ordered was well prepared. Parking in the area can be challenging, though the nearby parking structure behind Pedalhaus makes it more manageable. To be fair, it was busy, but there also seemed to be plenty of wait staff, so I'm not exactly sure where the disconnect was. Food-wise: the spinach artichoke dip was definitely the table favorite. They serve salads, bowls, sandwiches, all-day breakfast, protein shakes, fresh juices, and other healthy, fast-casual eats for dine-in or take-away. My kind of place! This is one of those spots that I'd frequent if I lived nearby (ChopShop, want to open in Northern California?!). I stumbled upon this spot after a little self-guided tour of ASU campus on a sleepy Sunday morning (everyone must have been asleep after the big football game the day before). I'd forgotten about this spot and it was such a happy surprise to find it again and to see that they survived the pandemic and are still thriving. First visit I ordered: -Cheat Day Wrap: scrambled egg, bacon, white cheddar, smashed avocado, tomato, brown rice (I ordered without rice), and turkey or ham (I skipped these too) *DELISH on a whole wheat wrap!!! Full of flavor and super easy to eat. This hearty breakfast sando fueled my active morning of hiking "A" Mountain (Hayden Butte Preserve) the running around the the IronMan course to spectate (30,000+ steps as a spectator!). We couldn't leave town without another trip. I took my guy and we enjoyed a salad, another breakfast wrap, and: -Chicken + Prosciutto Sandwich: grilled chicken, prosciutto, fontina, arugula, fig mostarda, dijon (no dijon for us), on a house bun. But my first experience was not that great. They had plenty of places to sit, whether you like to sit indoors or outdoors. I decided to try the "Glow Up Shake," which is their protein shake. The shake was okay; it didn't blow me away. Considering that it has banana, pineapple, dates, etc., I was hoping it would melt in my mouth with a galaxy of flavor--darn, no such luck. But like I said, it was an okay drink that I think others might like. Now, as for the $3 pre-wrapped Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie? The first cookie they brought me was hard as a diamond. I asked if they could heat it up to soften it a bit like they do at Starbucks, but he said they can't? Wow, I didn't realize that heating a Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie was so complex that it can't be done by some places. Anyway, the minor good news was he brought me a different cookie that was soft enough to bend and break off a piece and chew without worrying about breaking a tooth. But the big question is, will I be back? Of course I will; the place has a plethora of healthy food which I like. And I'm sure when I order something other than a diamond-hard Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie, my experience will be somewhat better. This place does have a fantastic Wi-Fi. That's a plus.
