As I browsed their lengthy menu of sweet delights, he let me know I could choose one of their standard menu drinks or create my own. He then pointed to the menu that gives you options to make your own drink. I opted for their Mango Prickly Pear with Lychee popping boba. The drink was right on the money! Delicious and refreshing, it hit the spot for me. It was reasonably priced, too. They do have the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cup, which I wanted so badly, but I didn't have anyone to share it with and it looked huge, so I passed on it this time. I went with the chocolate peanut butter cup and the dark chocolate, the two really complimenting each other very well. After hearing the backstory of the family that started the business, I would definitely put Cimmino alongside some of the gelato that I tried in Italy. Staff was friendly and while the space is unassuming, it was a perfectly fine place to hang out until venturing out into the desert heat. So why four stars instead of five? They don't do shakes and that's always my favorite way to enjoy gelato.
