Lisa, Lisa, Lisa!…read more Y'all, if you're looking for an amazing stylist, look no further. I'm someone who has done a lot to my hair over the years. I previously owned a modeling agency, and we were constantly changing hair styles and working with some of the best stylists in the world. After moving to the Sedona area, I had three disappointing experiences in a row--honestly, some of the worst hair I've ever had. I finally decided to make the trip to Scottsdale, where I knew I could find someone who truly cared about their craft. After doing some research, I chose this salon and booked with Lisa. In just one appointment, she completely understood what I wanted and delivered it flawlessly. With over 20 years of experience, she made what seemed impossible look effortless. She not only got me back to where I wanted to be--she exceeded my expectations. What I appreciated most was that she listened. Really listened. Then she combined that understanding with incredible skill and precision. On top of that, she's an absolute delight to spend time with. If you've been struggling to find a stylist you trust, I know how stressful that can be. Great hair makes such a difference, and we all deserve exceptional service and results. Run, don't walk, and book with Lisa. You'll be so glad you did! xoxo

Think twice before you go to this place! I honestly have…read morenever had an experience like this with a haircut, and I'm still incredibly frustrated and upset about it. I showed exactly what I wanted simple face framing and long layers but my hair was cut so unevenly that the layers didn't blend at all. There were random short pieces, completely different lengths, and the back was uneven and had no shape. It genuinely looked like a 5 year old had cut my hair, not a certified professional. Almost everyone who has seen my hair since has asked me the same thing: how could this possibly happen at a professional salon? Yes, I received a full refund, and I appreciate that. But I then had to go somewhere else to try to fix the damage. The second stylist had to take off even more hair, so I lost both the length AND the density of my hair just to make it look somewhat normal again. And even now, there is only so much that can be fixed. I have to wait for it to grow out. What frustrated me even more was how the situation was handled afterward. I asked the manager for their number because I genuinely wanted someone to explain to me HOW this happened. She never responded. I got my money back, but I felt absolutely no real empathy or understanding of what I was dealing with just scripted comments like I would be sad like you too and "Everybody loves this hairstylist. That completely misses the point. This is MY hair. I can't undo what was done. Giving me my money back doesn't give me back the length and density I lost or change how awful I feel every time I look at my hair. I wasn't looking for drama or anything extra from them. I just wanted someone to actually acknowledge how badly this went, take it seriously, and explain how something like this could happen with a professional stylist. I never got that.

I immediately looked them up on Yelp and saw great reviews so I came in. The price seemed a little on the high side but they are in old town Scottsdale which is an expensive area. So I said screw it and let's splurge a little. From my moment I arrived the stylist Nikki noticed my hair needed a special shampoo after she ran her hands through it. The shampoo was called a clarifying shampoo. I'm 40 and no one has ever once used that on me before I didn't even know what it meant. But I really felt like there was attention to detail happening from the moment I walked in. I got a cut from her and she asked my goals and made some immediate recommendations and gave me some options. I picked to grow it out more so we didn't layer it yet. And she styled my head really nicely and suggested a product that was lighter on my hair that I should use and she showed me how she styled it. She also gave me a blowout and did some really fancy style in the back of my hair too. I got my hair color done by her too and she's the first one to notice the parts of my hair that had more stubborn follicles and she went into it with more detail and made extra passes in those parts. Lastly when she did my beard she put aluminum metal sheets over it so the color sets in better, no one has done that with me either. I don't remember everything she said in detail but she spoke like she was a true expert of hair and color. Not your typical stylist that just knows how to do the job, she's a real professional. Lastly she's super friendly and personable, and she made the entire experience very delightful. Worth every penny and more, I'll definitely be coming back here for my hair.

It felt like he wasn't paying attention to what I wanted and just did whatever he wanted with my hair. I paid $165 for a haircut that I am extremely unhappy with and that will take a very long time to grow out and fix. After being a loyal client for so many years, this was really disappointing and upsetting. I even felt like because I hadn't gone in for a few years, there was some resentment or lack of care shown during the appointment. Just wanted to share my honest experience so others are aware that the service may be very hit or miss. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

I wanted a balayage with a shadow root the girl says no highlights are cheaper and better less maintenance . I said okay whatever you recommend. She does it I get a curly cut where that came out good. Then I leave mind you I'm there all day from 1130 am till 530 I don't see the orange in my hair and streaks like if I'm 12 years old. I go back the next day ask to fix it with toner and to please shadow root the top I don't lol streaks on top of it I have curly hair and the more it gets died the more it will fall out. Well Tanya tells me she too busy and will have someone else wash out my hair. That someone else was very unexperienced left chemicals in my scalp I had to pull over to the side of the road to wash it off. I left wet because she didn't even have moose or product in my hair only put oil. The diffuser fell on my head the owner dominque Watkins mouth dropped I then got upset and left. Again pulled over to wash out my hair and run home to wash it out three times. My hair line is messed up as well and unfortunately need Vaseline to take product off. I will never go back hete again I can't even fix it and dye my hair again for a while without causing damage and it's going to fall out. Train better hairstylist and dont over charge stating you can do curly hair when it's a lie. I'm the inconvenience because you are overbooked ? Don't be greedy owners and learn to train your staff
