Our Bartender/Server was generally a nice guy, no complaints about service and we were the only customers at the bar on this early afternoon they opened. We tried several food options including ahi tuna on rice crackers - just ok as the rice cracker was too big, not enough tuna. The Italian sliders were pretty decent with a small patty, fried mozzarella, and pesto. The charcuterie board with duck breast and Manchego cheese was probably the best small bite. Night time is where this place truly shines, but a pretty good place that has stood the test of time.

Your drink appears fast and exactly right. Slow evening? He'll chat with you just enough to make the place feel warm without hovering. That balance is harder to find than most people realize. John always makes the drinks well -- no shortcuts, good pour, and he actually remembers what you ordered last time you were in. The attention to detail is what separates a good bartender from a great one. The vibe of this whole bar really comes down to the person behind the counter, and John and the rest of the bartenders absolutely carry it.
