The bread for the sandwich was very good toasted. My friend also ordered the truffle aioli French fries which were so crispy and mushy on the inside it was a great combo that I would recommend. The overall cafe was very cute design that was aesthetic. The service was very chill and nice and I would definitely visit again!

Wow what can I say this spot is worth all of the hype. There's something special about a good sandwich, the sandwich that has the perfect cheese pull or perfect crispy bread. We'll lucky for you Parma Cafe has it all. When you walk in your immediately greeted by the friendly owner who will take there time to let you choose any of their amazing pastry's salads or sandwiches. And if that was enough the coffee here is amazing too! I had to order a little bit of everything because I was scared of missing out. I started with the aranchini which came out hot and once I dipped them in that Marinara sauce I was sold. Just when I thought it couldn't get better the sandwiches role out and my eyes might have almost shed a tear. They looked fantastic, and they tasted even better you can't go wrong witch these I promise ! Next time your in the neighbourhood do your belly a favour and come eat here !!

Cute little cafe near the hotel I stayed which felt like I was in Europe. I ordered an iced cappuccino since it was so hot that day and the staff were nice to make it iced even though they didn't really offer on the menu and it was the fix I needed. My family and I shared the charcutterie sandwich and chicken salad which were really good and the bread was fresh. I'd say you get what you pay for good quality and it's worth to stop by!

I've only had their chicken sandwich but it was delicious. I recommend getting the extra cheese. I don't know why I never visited this place before to study while I was at Concordia but oh well. Totally recommend to go grab a bite with friends and then staying to finish up some papers or just to chat. Seating is quite limited so plan accordingly.

Really great place for a quick casual bite to eat ! Casual , clean and airy decor with some seating space inside. Service was friendly/quick and the prices were reasonable , especially for the generous portion size. I had the charcuterie sandwich and an iced coffee and my boyfriend had the chicken sandwich ,we shared a side of fries. The iced coffee was really nice - great flavor and not too sweet. The fries really hit the spot nice and crispy on the outside, well seasoned and they come with a side of garlic mayo :) The sandwiches were so big and so good, the bread was so fresh ! The charcuterie sandwich was fresh tasting and really generous on the cold cuts - I forgot to add spicy marinated vegetables to it though which would have made it even better. The chicken sandwich was also excellent (you KNOW I stole a bite from my boyfriends plate....ok , maybe a few bites lol). The grilled chicken wasnt dry at all ,well cooked and well seasoned , overall la very tasty sandwich - both were solid choices. Definitely looking forward to coming back here again!

What a delicious surprise ! I had no idea this place even existed until tonight, it was one of the best pizzas I ever had. Picture side walk pizza but 10 times fluffier and way juicier! The margarita pizza was awesome, it comes pre sliced in squares and each slice has a piece of bocconcini on it. The tomato sauce they use has to be made there because it's so juicy and sweet that I refuse to believe it's store bought. The bread is very fluffy and is made just right. Meat balls were good as well I'm pretty sure it was made with veal. They gave a few slices of bread also for the meatballs, I was to stuffed to test it but it did look home made as well. Only thing I would recommend is adding spices on top but other then that I would recommend to try it with friends because it's a thick yummy pie :)

Great place to eat + chill/work, young and friendly staff on a Sunday afternoon, great service Asked for recs, wi-fi, and water (smooth & prompt) Decent ice coffee (milk was rich which is nice) Great Chicken Cutlet Panini: fresh crispy bread + ingredients, cutlet a bit too thin for my taste Overall 5 stars and amazing if it wasn't for the hefty prices that can easily add up for a full experience (30$ for sandwich + coffee + salad) Will come at least once a month!

Lovedddd Parma Café! I met up with my brother during lunch time and right away knew I would love this place when I stepped inside. Love the concept and speed of the service. The food is great and the coffee too! I ordered the pizza with fresh tomatoes, pesto and mozzarella. So fresh and the dough was thick and just the right amount of crisp. Also had to tried the Parma Cappuccino! - with chocolate liquor. So good! I will absolutely be back.

Went with their "charcuterie" panini and arancini balls. I enjoyed both! The panini bread was fresh and fluffy and the cold cuts were tasty. I really liked the arancini balls as well all was washed it down with Brio. Parma cafe is big and spacious and you can study here. With the nearby universities I can see this being a popular hangout space! Service was nice and quick and overall it was a very positive experience. Minus one star however for not having any protection from the elements. Sitting anywhere near the doors in winter was an issue for us with the amount of times it opened and closed. I truly recommend administration to install either a secondary door to prevent the cold elements bother their patrons or at the very least some thick curtains. Another note is that I found pricing either really good such as the 3 small arancini balls for $3 or not so much with the $10 panini with no side option. That puts it a bit on the expensive side. Also the cappuccino is $3.50 which puts it a bit on the expensive side as well considering it's $2.50 or $3 in most parts of little Italy. I guess rent is high in this pretty location. Overall, I'd come back. I want to check out their chicken cutlet panini and try other stuff on their menu!

The service was nice, a beautiful little restaurant but I wasn't terribly impressed with the food. My friend ordered the tortellini and she LOVED it! I had the gnocchi and something was definitely missing from the sauce. They have free WiFi which was nice and it's right off the Market so a prime location.

I was super excited to try this place, so I ordered a bit of everything. They had told me my order would take 15 minutes and I ended waiting over 40 minutes at lunch time just to get my food! Margherita pizza: Very doughy and heavy, almost raw. Sauce is very sweet and tastes like it is straight from a jar. I am sorry but I can't understand how anyone's can enjoy this. Tortellini Rosé: This dish was ok, but again, the sauce tasted too sweet. Arancini: Tasty and crunchy, but they are not stuffed, so it's just rice. So I wouldn't call these arancini, but rather suppli. Steak panini: It was good, with onions and mushrooms. Vegetarian panini: Excellent mix of various veggies, including sautéed rapini and red peppers. The only thing I would reorder if I were to return. Chocolate chip and Nutella cookie: I wasn't able to eat it... all I could taste was baking soda. My friend tried it and had to spit it out. I am pretty sure we got a bad batch. The prices are ok considering this is a downtown location. I feel like they are popular because the place is trendy and the only one of its kind serving light Italian fair downtown. Unfortunately, the attention they are getting is not due to the food which is mediocre at best.

But before even checking in, we had to walk through Bar George ~ and instantly knew we wanted to eat there. We were lucky enough to grab a last-minute reservation, and Julien took a good care of us throughout the evening. His recommendation of the Beef Wellington was spot on (it's already one of our favorite dishes), but this was hands down the best we've ever had. I ordered the lobster risotto, which was excellent with just the right amount of spice. My son had the 10 oz striploin steak with homemade fries (chips), and it was absolutely delicious. I also loved the Canadian touch of coarse salt on the steak, plus the option to choose between Béarnaise or peppercorn sauce. Julien also mentioned their pastry chef placed second in a NY competition, and the desserts absolutely lived up to that reputation. We tried the pineapple and coconut pavlova and the "lick me hazelnut" ~ both beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. We also ordered iced coffee and a latte, and noticed something interesting: this was the second place where we found Canadian coffee to be smooth and mild ~ such a nice change from the often bitter, over-roasted American coffee. Yes, dinner was a bit steep ($300+), but it was worth every penny. Between the rich history, stunning design, outstanding service, and unique cuisine, I would highly recommend Bar George. I went a long time ago, back in 2021, and I was so happy to have gone again since they relocated to Old Montreal. The exterior is this new building, but inside, it feels like you're in an old building with rustic textures and colours. The ambiance is so lovely and it truly is the best place for delicious brunch items and taking cute pictures too! My friends and I visited on a Saturday morning without reservations, but we went relatively earlier. We were seated right away for a table of 4 and were served teas and coffee. I ordered the Bone Marrow & Duck Confit which consisted of a country-style bread, duck poached egg, bone marrow, confict duck leg, manchego shavings, herb salted crumble and green peas. It's a massive dish and honestly everything tasted amazing all together. The bone marrow was perfectly cooked and the duck poached egg meld everything together. They also give you another bowl so you can put the marrow once you're done eating it. The bread was needed to soak up every part of this delicious dish. Other items ordered was the Foie Gras (Chef's specialty) which had brioche bread, duck poached egg, caramelized onion compote and crispy proscuitto chips. The chips were a wonderful item to pair with the seared foie gras. The foie gras was perfectly cooked. The Rustic is another fan favourite which had brioche bread, duck poached egg, sautéed mushrooms. pulled pork, potatoes and argula sprouts. it is such a beautiful dish - nice colours, many ingredients and placed well on the plate; not to mention it was so good too! The last item was the Croque Monsieur which has country-style bread, maple-glaed Gaspor acon, confit tomatoes, cheddar, duck sunny side-up egg on an endive salad. You can't pick it up and munch on it, so you know how big this must have been! Even cut into pieces, it requires some maneuvering to munch on it. Great place for brunch. Awesome service too. I would highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a brunch spot!

Yet somehow, despite living on the Upper East Side myself, I have never been taken there. Interesting. We will address this upon our return to New York. The Griffintown location has a really nice outdoor seating area running alongside the building, with blue café tables, big wooden pergolas and planters. Under normal circumstances, this would have been perfect for me. Unfortunately, it was raining. The staff very kindly told Mom and Dad that I could come inside as long as I remained in my carrier. Terms accepted. After an entire morning of adventuring, I had absolutely no objection to being carried around like important cargo. Mom ordered eggs Benedict and an iced latte. Dad went with scrambled eggs, bacon and toast plus a Diet Coke. I stayed tucked inside my carrier and monitored the bacon situation. Very closely. No further comment at this time.
