    Carry out pizza.

Ordered a large two-topping pizza that was picked up and carried out. We came home to taste nothing but burnt crust (see picture). Mistakes happen, so we emailed them with the email address listed on the company website. Any follow up? Nope. No one called or emailed back to contact us about the experience.

"Have you seen this shit? Hawaiian Pizza? I cannot fucking believe it. Pineapple and ham."―Anthony Bourdain Brothers Pizza is a nice little local shop that's been serving E-Town since 1980. I popped in here for a quick lunch before taking the boys down to the Turkey Hill Experience to enjoy some Ice Creams. I ordered a cheesesteak and the lady asked if I wanted marinara and grilled onions with it, I said,"yes please!" Fries sounded good, but onion rings sounded better so I got an order of them, as well. Cheesesteak w/ marinara & grilled onions ($6.30) Little too bready for my liking but overall it was tasty. The beef was chopped up a bit too fine, and could'v used another few ounces to compensate for all the carbs. The marinara was a nice touch and probably wouldn't have been as good without it. 3.5* Onion Rings ($3.75) Standard onion rings you find just about anywhere. At least they were hot and fresh out of the fryer. 3* Service & Ambiance Not much in the way of ambiance as it was a pretty standard store with a few arcade machines and décor that hasn't changed since their inception. Service was fine, but there was a bit of a kerfuffle with the folks working in the back. Sounded more like a family squabble than co-workers fighting, tho. 3* Value Good prices for the chow and they have a daily lunch special that's almost unbeatable for two big slices of pie and a small drink for $4! 4.5* Nothing memorable, but nothing bad. Solid three star joint that would def be part of my lunch rotation if I worked/lived in the area.

We ordered a cheese steak & meatball subs to be picked up. When I opened my sandwich, and saw all the meat in the very center, with just cheese folded at the ends. We will not go here again!

Being from the Philly area I know a good hoagie and this place by far has the best hoagies in the Lancaster area.

Wow! I am starting my review with that because that was the first thing I thought when I walked…read moreinto Cox Brewing's Rally Point. This is a great veteran owned business. Listen, if you know what a hand circle has to do with a rally point, or what a LACE Report is, then this place needs to be high on your OPORD For the rest of you, read the rest of the review to see why you need to come here too. First lets clarify why Google and Yelp are calling this location Cox Brewing and Rally Point. Cox Brewing Company is the brewery, and they used to have a separate location a couple miles away. Rally Point is the name of their tap room where you enjoy great beer in an awesome atmosphere. Rally Point is co-located with the Pizza Town restaurant. You can bring food from the latter over to the tap room. Order it and they will text you when it's ready. Now on to the important stuff. The beer here is flat out great. The bartenders are more than happy to recommend beers for you. She suggested two for me and they were both on point. They went down like 50 meter targets (if you understand that, you better already have this place bookmarked). The atmosphere here is unique and a lot of fun. There's sandbags, ammo cans, belt feeds, and other great stuff you won't see at any other bars. The two bartenders that attended to me were super friendly and seemed to really enjoy their job. On top of all that, there's live music. What are you waiting for? Shoot your azimuth and get here double time!

Cox Brewing Company used to be located in Rheems but now has a much…read morelarger and really inviting space next to Pizza Town -- with a roomy indoor taproom, long bar, stage area for live music, outdoor seating and fire pits, and tons of great drinks on tap. I was able to visit once before the Christmas holiday and again right before New Years so the hubs and I could ring in 2021 with some delicious local beers. We started with the two sours on tap -- Bug Juice (perfect tart blend of strawberry/blueberry and lime) and Lawn Dart (peach/mango) -- and I hope they keep them on tap through summer because these are the types of beers I'd enjoy with friends on a hot afternoon. Next up were two IPAs -- CH-47, which is a light and super smooth American style, and IPA-X, which is another American style but with a little more citrus - not sure which hops are used, but they're good! We also decided to sample one heavier beer -- the Armistice Ale, which was listed at 11% ABV. That's should be enough to wipe out those 2020 memories, right?? This isn't a style either the hubs or I are into -- it's a scotch style ale, which is darker and heavier -- I'm glad we only did a howler, as more than one glass a piece might've done us both in! But the flavor was good. The staff is taking COVID precautions seriously, which I appreciate -- they all wear masks, clean regularly and provide sanitizer. There were a few folks outside at the fire pits when I visited, but most were taking their growlers to go. Nice steady business Wednesday night when I visited (after 5pm), but I beat the crowd on a Saturday by arriving as soon as they opened. The prices are reasonable -- $10 - $15 growler refills and $6 howler refills hit the spot. If I could carry more than two growlers at a time, it'd be dangerous! This is a veteran-owned business, so there's tons of military references not only in the names of the beers (Ghille Suit, Gun Bunny, etc.), but also in the atmosphere at Rally Point. Not my typical style, but it's very inviting and everyone is super friendly, so you can't help but to want to hang out and chat with the staff and knowledgeable regulars. It also looks like they arrange a lot of fundraisers and events to support other local veterans orgs -- flyers posted around the venue and advertised on their website. I love supporting not just a good local brewery and veteran business, but also a hometown company that pays it forward to their community -- especially during this crazy pandemic.

The menu looks interesting but it all just comes out okay. We got a bunch of small plates for the table to share. I enjoyed the Kobe hot dog and duck confit sliders. I would definitely not recommend the pork belly tacos.

That said, execution fell pretty short and the dishes felt pretty underwhelming as a whole. Black Gryphon offers an elevated bar/pub environment with cool concepts for appetizers and entrees. I thought the kobe dog and ants climbing a tree apps were tasty, but unfortunately felt pretty underwhelmed by the wings, duck confit open-faced burgers, and the pork belly tacos. The flavors kind of landed 2-dimensional. Our server was very nice and accommodating, but it was also weird because there was only one server that I saw for the entire restaurant, so I don't know if the experience would've been different if they were busy that day (there were maybe 2 tables total that we were there). All in all, it's an okay spot. Lots of cool ideas that have a lot of potential, but didn't quite hit the mark for me.

I walked in and this is when the problems started. I was greeted with no one wearing masks or gloves. Like in the middle of a pandemic. They took my money and I started my 30 minute wait for pizza that was not ever going to arrive. Other customers would come in and out and no one ever asked. 20 minutes passed and I asked where my pizza was? They said the order went out long time ago. But I was pizzaless. They must have given my food to someone else. They said I could wait for them to remake my order. I'm asked how long and they said like another 30 minutes. I said no. I want a refund. And got out of dodge. They said they "voided" the order. I'm like is the money back on my card? The kid never explained and no one ever apologized for the mistake. Never will shop from here again.
