Clean, spacious room, very comfortable bed and pillows, quiet, free breakfast, indoor pool, gym, easy free parking, safe neighborhood and restaurants/stores close, reasonable prices, towels very good quality and clean and they have soap bars! I would stay here again. Only things I did not like: --The free breakfast was "Okay" but would have been great if they had Hard Boiled Eggs and higher quality yogurt. They did have oatmeal. Since Covid, it's hard to find a free great breakfast anymore at a hotel. --Got back at 2 AM and the shower only had very hot water! I ran it for 10 minutes and still only HOT-burning HOT! What the problem was is that a new control arm was installed and they they did not test the temperature. I temporarily fixed it by turning the water off and then applying max pressure to the control arm while turning it on so that it would grip the cold control. The shower was now a bit only on the just warm side--not hot but good for one shower--I survived. I would have to change rooms if I was staying another night. --Staff at the front desk is not the friendliness, even by LA Standards, but they get the job done. They just don't seem happy there for whatever reason. I tried to talk them up--they were not interested in even light conversation. Everyone is under financial pressure these days effecting their work attitude. Maybe it was me and they did not want to chat with me--don't know. --No hook or high towel bar to hang up my toiletries bag in the bathroom--I had to hang it in the closet. Wish there were more hooks for efficiency. --No free bottled water and it it costs $4-5 a bottle!! Overall, I would recommend a stay here--just turn the shower on when you get in the room to make sure it works on your temperature. These days everyone is hiring a "Sunday Charlie" to fix things instead of a licensed plumber to save money.

The two times I went down to the front desk becasue no one was picking up the young girl was on her personal cell phone just sat not answering the front desk phone. She had very little urgency in helping. This is not the service I expect from a Marriott property. Very very disappointing. Maybe extra training is needed.

The TV was big the for the room size and it also gives you the option to stream through your phone but also has plenty of channels to watch. The sectional couch which is also a pull out bed isn't comfy. The bathroom is nice and spacious and the shower is too and the pressure is great. The free breakfast is not so great, but it did the job. Hire better cooks! The outside area is nice to sit around and talk any time of the day. This is a great place to stay in all regards. There were yellow stains on the sheets that were there prior to me arriving, there was black mold growing on the mattress, the ceiling began to leak when it rained, and the guy in the room next to ours had constant hookers coming and going throughout the night. However this hotel is located near a lot of shops and it's about 2 miles from the highway . So if you are looking for something that is located in a good area then yes I would tell you to chose this hotel . It was off season so it wasn't overly crowded but I would defiantly suggest upgrading the hotel. There is amble closet space the bathroom is standard and the bedding as well . Their free breakfast is always great and at this location their potatoes were to die for. Yum! The noise here is minimal and the staff are nice and friendly. They also have a nice little courtyard out back with a fireplace and a couple grills with a pergola and tables, sofas, and chairs. Plus a basketball court. There is plenty of free parking all around the building as well. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is too plus the water pressure is great. They also have a small snack area that is filled with almost anything you could want to eat or drink for a late night craving. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality. Enjoy :D

The sofa was a pull out bed. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on, though, because the mattress is very thin and you can feel the metal frame. Service is great and they are very friendly. They have a free breakfast buffet as well.
