Whenever I'm in Henderson, I already know theres a ton of Greek food nearby, and for price and value, Parsley just doesn't disappoint! I like how you can add anything you want or don't want to your bowl. I always end up packing mine up and it will serve me twice with the amount of food I get out of it, so one meal is also great for sharing! I love coming here with family or just taking food to go! It would be 5 stars, but day shift knocks the rating down. The time of day you go will completely alter your experience and it's important you do NOT go during day/morning shift. We tried multiple times and the women that work the morning shift, especially the short Hispanic woman that barks orders at everyone and the younger girl with braces that rolls her eyes make you want to never return. The portions are dictated by their mood, nothing is restocked and they talk to you like they hate you and I don't even know how the one with braces got hired in FOH, put her in BOH or somewhere not with customers. The night shift is where it's at, you're always greeted, never rushed, consistent portions, the area is always clean, well restocked and it's just a completely different experience. Whoever the manager/owner is for this location really needs to recognize they're losing customers from their day shift because of how rude they are and the chaos of the line; they can't seem to work as a team to get your order done in a timely manner. If you go to this location, go in the evening. My bf and I finally asked the employee names that are always so welcoming, helpful and keeping the place on track with a great attitude and their names are Nas and Ulrich! That's who all the staff should be training with, they are the example of what Parsley needs for customer retention and satisfaction. Omg. That's al I can really say at first. This place was so delicious! I had seen a TikTok from them early and I was dreaming about it until I got off at 9. The service was nice, they were friendly and quick which is always a plus! Since I went at 9pm it was just myself and another booth so the vibes were chill. We ordered the chicken caesar wrap and parsley fries to share and we were so happy with our decision. Been wanting to come here for a while so we made the trip today and WOW! I love mediterranean flavors and you can tell everything is so fresh, it's delicious. This is a build your own style so you choose your protein, toppings, and if you want it as a bowl, salad, wrap, plate, etc. Kabobs will take an extra 15 mins to cook (worth it) but the shawarma steak and chicken are ready right away and both are sooooo good. I'm so disappointed in our visit today. We ordered the Chicken curry and Greek salad, both come with pita bread. The veggies in the curry weren't edible. Usually they're soft and full of flavor from cooking with the seasoning and other ingredients, really delicious. (from what I remembered, it's been about a few months) Today it seems they just dropped carrots, cauliflower and broccoli in the pot right before we ordered the food. They were tough, and had no flavor. Since we brought the food home I was able to cut everything with a steak knife, but the flavor wasn't there so it was a waste. Maybe the problem is we ordered around 11am when they open at 10:30, probably should only get this dish later in the day when it's had time to cook. We've been visiting other Greek restaurants (bc this is my fave food) wanted hubby to try this one, it's so close to home and it was an epic fail. We tried the steak shawarma bowls and the gentleman assisting us was fast and so friendly! Note It is a casual dining experience. A few tables or bar window seats in a brightly lit room. You order at the counter and they add the toppings (like a sandwich shop) we like everything, so we had a really nice salad added to our bowl with all the veggies. We also ordered a 'up charge' item of baba gahnoosh, that comes with hot pita bread, that is so worth it. We also added a green and a red hot sauce, too, both were to die for. Yum! I was looking forward to trying this spot for a late lunch but was not impressed at all with the quality. I ordered the chicken shawarma basmati rice bowl with cucumbers, tomatoes and chickpeas added on top + tahini on the side. The bowl looked amazing but the flavor was mid (for lack of a better term..). I'm not sure if the chicken shawarma is supposed to be hot or even somewhat warm from sitting near the grill all day but it was cold. I'm also not a fan of casually chewing bones in my meals and didn't appreciate that my first two bites of my bowl had bones in it. FWIW, the side of tahini tasted good and the pita as well - although that was cold too (not sure if the pita or rice is warmed/warm when serving). If other locations exist, I might try another and a different protein option that is truly fresh + made to order. The vibe inside here wasn't my favorite.. it might just be the location it's at and customers it attracts but I probably won't be back. I don't know what type of Mediterranean this place is but it's not authentic middle eastern, I'm sorry to say. None of the flavors were there for shawarma, the meat was salty, the "lavosh" was a tortilla, and the garlic spread was not toum. Do better or call it Mediterranean-adjacent. I always get either a falafel wrap or baguette (someday I'll get a basmati bowl), and it's always top notch. You start by telling them what protein you would like and in what form, and then go down the line adding what you'd like (in my case it's always hummus, spicy jalapeno spread, salad, cucumbers, sumac onions, parsley, and tzatziki sauce). I have *NEVER* been disappointed with my food from this place. Recently, I have met a staff member who has enhanced my visit every single time I've been there, even though I'm only popping in to get a to go order. Naz is the epitome of hospitality. Always full of energy with a smile on his face and greeting every customer in a welcoming fashion. It's safe to say that Naz truly enjoys making people's day better, and he's good at it. Really good food. I would come back for the felafel alone. So yummy (I'm fussy). The steak shawarma plate was also tasty. That, the humus (meh), and 6-piece felafel was more than enough food for the two of us to share. Took the leftover humus home. I'll doctor it with a little lemon juice. Service is friendly. Basically you point at whatever you want your protein and rice topped with. Nice and cool inside. I had heard good things about this place, especially for their vegetarian options so I was excited to try it. It was a little disappointing, but I have gone back several times as it wasn't awful. I ordered the falafel pita, but unfortunately it comes on lavash bread which is more like a tortilla than a pita. The baguette option is more my style and I love the taste and flavor of the falafel, but not many toppings. I am also not a fan of feta and I always request fries without it, but they hardly ever make it that way so I end up removing it. The portions are also great. This last time I went though, I was super put off by the customer service of the guy helping me (Alan). I don't know if he was having a bad day, but my suspicion is he's always having a bad day. He asked me questions like he couldn't be bothered and I felt like I was wasting his time. At one point he slopped my chicken curry in the tin bowl like he was serving a prison inmate. I'm surprised he didn't just out right roll his eyes at me. Super strange and very uncalled for. Decided to try out this place last night. At first I was excited to try the food. But the whole experience kind of annoyed me a bit. I wanted the grilled chicken and they said it would take 15 min to cook. Yet they were quick to ask me how I wanted my bowl and started putting the toppings on it. But come to find out it was for my BF plate instead of mine.. So I ended up choosing his toppings thinking it was mine. Then when it was time to pay, the cashier was too busy counting her cash and 3 people were in line just waiting and we were not even acknowledged. Then after we paid for both meals, I still had to wait for my chicken skewer to be done. By the time I went to get my food, My BF had already eaten half of his food and they still wanted charge me a $1 for olives.. COME ON! Get it together.
