Food here is always delicious. One of my faves here is their couscous with the cranberries in it, absolutely delicious and great combination. Their shawarma is tasty, it's a bit more on the fatty side. Absolutely love the burger from here, I get it lettuce wrapped no bun, and the meat is flavorful and very very high quality meat as well, I like to add fresh avocado to it with the parve mozz and cheddar blend cheese. Fries are seasoned well, and the crisp is great. Also love the onion rings. The location is in a sketchy shopping center the atmosphere inside is not pleasing the prices are outrageous specially in comparison to the quantity and quality of the food we paid $45 for a dish of Shawarma and got a small bowl in the size of an appetizer that wasn't even tasty The water was tapwater with bad flavor. Service was slow and on top of everything they charge you gratitude of 22%. Jerusalem Mediterranean Chef's Table is very nice certified kosher and halal restaurant, bar, and catering located close to the Las Vegas Strip. We tried a variety of things that were all very good. The hummus is very good and creamy. The pita bread is very fresh and fluffy. The falafels were the moist herby type. Moroccan cigars where tasty with a very spicy but tasty sauce. The burger was moist and flavorful but was shaped like a ball and for me delicious but hard to eat. The French macarons was surprisingly good and impressive. The food we tried was very close to 5 stars. Service was also outstanding. I do note that kosher restaurants are not for everyone. wow! we were in Las Vegas for a conference and didn't have any expectations for this dinner to be any good . We keep Kosher and restaurants aren't usually do good out of the tri-state area. Not only was it excellent but our waitress Cristal was a sweetheart. She showed a real knowledge of the dishes and even told us which desserts were the best. She was right ! In New York if you ask if something on the menu can be exchanged for something else . You get a dirty look and are told no . Here it wasn't a problem to order two chicken skewers instead of the lamb /chicken combo thst was on the menu. The only rings and couscous with vegetables were incredible! I'd like to be able to give Jerusalem more than 3 stars, but that's all it earned, mainly because the food quality was very good and the portions justified the prices, which of course are high because, well, if you've ever eaten in a Kosher restaurant, you know. Full disclosure about our party of five was that we visited on Christmas. I have to believe some of the issues we encountered were due to being a bit short staffed. The food we ordered was very good. Chicken schnitzel, shwarma and a beef and chicken kebab were right on the money. The sides were large and also tasted great. The Alfredo BBQ Aioli served with a side of French fries was excellent. The problems were all service related. Two dishes arrived at the table first, followed a couple of minutes later by two additional dishes and a couple of the sides we had ordered. Food following other food by over a minute or two shouldn't happen, but it did. At that point, one in our party still did not have their entree. It was another 7 to 10 minutes before it finally arrived and not before I had to get up and find our server and ask her specifically what was going on. She had earlier stopped by and seen that something was missing and indicated she would find out what was going on. Unfortunately, she never returned after that which is why I went and sought her out. After I spoke with her, it was another three minutes or so before the food (kebabs) finally arrived. Once they did, the food was great. It was difficult to get the staff's attention to address a few other minor issues and even when we spoke with someone, there was no follow through. Another lesser issue was a Diet Coke that tasted off. I've experienced it before to recognize that the can probably got too hot at some point as heat makes aspartame break down. Checking in on our party was not a priority. To the restaurant's credit, and this is why I give it 3 stars rather than 2, at the end of the evening, our server did not charge us for my drink and discounted the bill, and offered a desert, on the house, which like the rest of the food, was excellent. Would I go again? I'm on the fence. Given what you are paying, you have a right to expect not only good food, but exceptional service. Again, it may have been a bad night for the kitchen and the staff, but if you are going to keep your doors open on the holiday, the expectation is that you are going to staff your restaurant adequately. Again, I applaud Jerusalem for doing its best to make it right and that factor may earn a repeat visit on a non-holiday down the road. read more

The server was very helpful with the menu since it was my first time here. To start off we went with the hummus and decided not to add shawarma to it. The hummus was very silky and amazingly good. Never had hummus like this before. Also tried the Black Angus Persian Kabobs skewers, they were also very tasty and well seasoned. Thought I'd give it one more shot just to see if maybe they had a bad night. Party of four, ordered a large variety of items, well over $250. Nope still bland, still low quality, still terrible service. They cook as if there's shortage of spice and olive oil. Falafel was rock hard on the outside and raw in the middle, vegetables well past the prime, and don't get me started on the hummus. I'm honestly confused as to how they think this is acceptable. Every possible corner was cut. Only thing left is to serve on paper plates so they don't have to wash dishes. Come to think of it, paper plates would be more appropriate given the quality. I have eaten hundreds of kosher tacos both fish and meat in many restaurants to compare. The tacos were totally moistness and had no real flavor. If I could not taste the meat , which should never happen, at least serve them with various sauces to liven up the flavor. These were served with none. What a beautiful place. 5 star dining experience for sure. A relaxing atmosphere where you can talk with family and friends or enjoy an intimate dinner. The pita bread was hot from the oven/ grill. Falafel was warm and moist and the tabouli was outstanding. The Lebanese chicken with grilled vegetables was my favorite of all. The flavors were simple yet delicious. The Chefs Seasoned Fries w/ bbq aïoli ketchup. The fries them self were perfect but the sauce tasted like regular ketchup. If that's the worse we are doing good. I really wanted to love this place and was excited to try it for the first time. The food was mediocre at best, the service was middle of the road. I hate having to constantly flag down my server vs them checking in once in a while. The bartender was making some sort of blended drinks behind the bar in a blender that was so loud it overtook the entire soundscape of the restaurant. it was so loud it drowned out the music playing at the restaurant which was pretty loud. This went on the entire time I was there. I read several reviews before my visit praising the decor of this restaurant. I'm not sure where these people are eating, but I was not impressed in the least by the decor. In my opinion, its dated lacks creativity and they purchased cheap Amazon light fixtures hanging from the ceiling that have a light temperature color of fluorescent lights. I would expect this at my dentist office, but not at a restaurant with $50 entrees. This one is definitely a hidden gem. In the southeast corner of the strip mall plaza of Decatur & Flamingo is the cleanest and fanciest restaurant in the local off-strip area. Personally speaking, it's surrounded by liquor/vape stores, massage shops, and a Burger King so didn't expect such a classy place. Turns out I thought I was under dressed! Even our server was top notch; it seemed like he had been imported from a fancy French vineyard. Anyways, the food was spectacular and their dishes are great for everyone. Something in the way it's cooked maybe, but it felt lighter and more tastier. I had to go with the favorite, Chicken Shawarma Tacos ($14). Also the Black Angus Persian Kabob ($11). Both were great and I know I can eat happy when I order those again. It was so good that I regret not coming here sooner. Honestly the best food, worth every penny! The flavors are amazing, rich but not overpowering. My husband had the kebab and said it was the best he ever ate. I'm vegan and had the hummus plate and the taboli - omg the taboli was incredible the best I ever tasted - the dried apricots and sliced almonds with tahini sauce drizzled on top was amazing. We loved coming here! It's a nice experience overall. I would say don't come here if you're on any type of schedule. Everything is slow paced here and according to my husband that once came on his lunch break and had to leave without ordering it's like that all of the time. But if you're able to relax and visit with company you won't mind the slow but happy atmosphere here. We ordered brisket, mujadara, Turkish cigars, baby potatoes, and other people at our table ordered many different items which they all seemed to like. The brisket was exceptional very sweet but delicious and beautiful presentation. The mujadara sadly was lacking flavor, it needed like triple the amount of onions. I would like to thank our new friend, Carlos. Incredible service by a very knowledgeable individual. Unless he was hosing us, he's a great source for discovering the intricacies of deep Vegas. The Vegas the tour guides will never learn. He knows his way around a menu, too. The food in this place is remarkable. Simply delicious. They actually understand authentic cuisine which is a huge plus. See what happens when you leave the strip? On our first few visits I was amazed at the high quality and sophistication of the dishes they feature. Kosher Israeli and Mediterranean dining is more of a social style of eating where conversation is encouraged. It's especially prominent in the appetizer or Tapas phase of the meal. At the Chef's Table tonight we focused on this and ordered nothing but Tapas. The Jerusalem hummus on warmed pita was my contribution. My friend Julian set us up with Falafel fusion Tabulleh and of course Mrs. E. donated a generous portion of Grandma's Matzaball soup. In addition to all the wonderful vegetables the tabulleh stars an Italian garlic, roasted cinnamon apricot and sesame tahini. I'd grab a spoon and go to town on this, but grandma might be up there watching. On the trail of main entrees and courses, I suggest trying a vegan masterpiece called the Fasolia Beef Soup. They also have an incredible skewer entitled the Black Angus Persian Kebob with tomato and jalapeño. The Lamb & Beef Merquez. Basically, that's uncooked meat in a lamb casing spiced with caraway, spicy paprika add caramelized tomato and poached egg. Of course, you can never go wrong with the Snitzle Milanese. That's a fancy way of saying Marinated Chicken breast with the house jungle salad. It is really tasty. I am learning they have plans to remodel and most likely change up the menu. Something different, yet familiar, with a lot of great quality to offer. We didn't really plan this one out, but got invited by friends last minute to try something new. We love Mediterranean food and this has some similar options along with some uniquely cultural twists. Service started out a bit slow, but then ramped up with everything coming out really close together. Sort of a 0-60 on the meal, but we enjoyed it all the same. The hummus sampler was huge and all of the flavors were made well. Obviously preferences will vary, but the textures were really smooth and flavors lived up to their names more or less. The only consistent negative was the mango chutney was a bit light on mango flavor compared to how rich the other options were. The shawarma tacos had a unique spice blend on some of the juiciest chicken shawarma I've ever had. Shaved thin and really tasty. The harais steak sliders were really interesting. Crispy fried pita with what tasted like a chopped steak inside that had good flavor. Great to share. Our burger was cooked perfectly with a tasty sauce. It's a bit tough to justify a $22 al a carte burger though which makes the expectation incredibly high, and there is another prime burger that's even double this price. Overall it was a good experience that I wouldn't mind going back to, but was a bit pricey for some of the options which puts it into a pretty competitive restaurant class making it less likely to revisit very often. read more
