The outside doesn't look like much, but the inside has a really cool atmosphere with several different places to sit, including both indoor and outdoor patios. I went to watch a Columbus Crew game, since it is designated as a Crew Pub Network, which means they show every home and away game. When I went, it was on every single TV, so no matter where you sat, you could catch the game. They have upwards of 15 of their own brews, and sell 6 packs to-go if you want to take some home. They don't have their own kitchen, but they usually have a food truck parked outside. If there's not a food truck present that day, you are welcome to bring or order in your own food. Although VERY busy/crazy that Saturday afternoon, service was great at the bar, and I stuck around for a while, getting caught up in whatever it was that was happening w/the BIG GAME... I had a tasty cider (can't recall the name...) and promised myself to come back to chat w/the owner, who I "know" from here on Yelp and FB, when things were a bit less CREW-ZY!! Came back for another visit a few months later on a Saturday night (probably around 8pm...) and it was MUCH quieter/less busy, but still had a friendly, casual vibe that I've come to love about all/most of the breweries I (used to...) visit more frequently w/the Mr., back in the "good old days..." They've got a TON of special events here, it seems, including a farmer's market, trivia, and all sorts of tempting food trucks. While I'm FAR from a beer expert, there's PLENTY of great options here for just about everyone. Popped in today with a friend (we've been a few times before) and I can't say enough about how great the beers are. We've been to many breweries and taprooms around Columbus and Parsons became one of our favorites of the bat. The vibe is great, and the patio is flush with picnic-style tables. I've heard about this place for years, but it's kinda out of my way, and the hours make it hard for me to get in. But when I was nearby on a day off, we dropped in. Just Baby K and me, to try their root beer (beer will have to wait for another day, and hopefully they'll have a food truck then.) Service was excellent, and very helpful for drink choices for kids (she ended up with a Sprite.) The root beer was... different. Caramel color, tasting more like a twist on cream soda with caramel, anise, etc. Good, refreshing on a hot day, not really my idea of root beer. But, if you're the DD, or just want a cold drink, it's a nice choice. The place was relaxed, lots of seating options, friendly crowd (but not crowded, at 2pm on a Saturday.) I remember hearing about this brewery when they opened, but never made it down here. My friend suggested we come for drinks after work on a Thursday. It was slammed! Most tables were taken and a line to the door to order drinks at the cashier. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. You can also bring dogs here. They were showing Harry Potter on the tv! More bunny points. I ended up ordering one of the IPAs that the bartender suggested. Can't remember the name but it was good! My friends all enjoyed their drinks and the vibes. It gets pretty loud. Seating is just benches. Tables aren't large. They also have food trucks stationed here. The night I came, they had the Two Fat Indians food truck. Parking kinda sucks here. One more stop for me today at Parsons North Brewing which makes brewery #248 for me. PNB has a lousy parking situation. I parked my rental car on an adjacent street, which with cars parked on both sides was barely wide enough for one car yo drive down. Fortunately no one was coming from the other direction... Anyway once I managed parking all was good. I came in the front off the Main Street and the place had a great vibe. It was only lightly busy on this Sunday afternoon and most folks were out the back past the open roll up enjoying the nice weather. I got a flight of four after a couple of suggestions from the bartender. The Mexican lager was a hit IMNSHO. Just the right balance with a little sweetness but still refreshingly light. The amber ale was malty but not overly hoppy. This was really good as it left a little dry caramel flavor on my tongue. The east coast IPA was nicely hoppy not only in aroma and flavor, but bitterness as well. Last up was the bourbon barrel imperial stout. This was another really good beer. I doubt I will be back to PNB mostly because I don't get to this area often. If you are nearby the beers are worry a stop though! Parsons North is a simply great space! I came here for an event and there was plenty of room to freely move from room to room even with a packed crowd. It's an interesting, well lit and hip feeling business, with friendly staff. I will say that initially parking was a bit of a challenge but I figured out a solution. Be aware that several of the side streets are permit parking so it pays to exercise some care in looking at the signs near where you put the car. Went on a first date and they chose Parson's North. They chose well!! We really just wanted to have a beer and conversation but to our surprise they were also having Bingo night ( it was Valentines Day but it sounded like they do it every Monday ). Anyways, it was a blast! Being on a first date and trying to break the ice, this was such a cool surprise. The Bingo host was hilarious and there are prizes to win! So we basically accidentally stumbled upon the best date night! By the way, they make some extremely solid beers and the staff is great. They very strictly follow Covid protocols. WE were going to go to another location, but happened to drive by here and decided to stop, which was good because right after we walked in we had a downpour of rain. We ended up staying for two beers and played some cards while waiting for the rain to let up. Lots of outdoor seating and covered outdoor areas. I think I seen cornhole on the side with more seating. Parsons North Brewing is another new Columbus brewery. It's one of the new places at Livingston and Parsons. This has been open long enough that it's gotten a rhythm. It now has its own beers. They also are visited by food trucks. I got their English Ale. It's about $6 for a pint. This isn't the best, but it's much better than anything from the convenience stores. If you need food, there's several restaurants that are close. There's a bunch in the new development along Parsons. Right next to here is Comune. There's also several food trucks. In this area of Columbus there are new developments constantly. It's good one of these is an independently operated brewery. The food trucks are usually here on weekends. read more

I have to say this place is such a nice addition to this area and it was certainly busy when we were there last Friday night, so lots of others must agree with me. My folks live really close, so I picked up Mom/Merle L. and met Gwen W. and Cher W. at neighboring JimmyLuka's for a bite before walking here. There was a fellow Yelper behind the bar, and another is co-owner. We chatted with both and had a nice time at a table in front of the bar. They've put a lot of work into making an inviting bar/brewery and it looks amazing. There is plenty of seating, both at the large, open bar and around both rooms. They have board games, and a sofa in the second room; there were a few couples that brought their young children. My mom pointed out there was a wide age group, from infants to people in their 70's. They have a nice outdoor area in the back that will be enclosed for summer use, and we were told they are planning to add food trucks out back this summer. For now, there was a burger truck parked at the front curb. There are local brews on the menu, and they also offer wines and cocktails at fair prices. I have been several times times and this place is always a great hang out spot for a date or drinks with friends. Some indoor space available, however, larger outdoor space if weather is cooperating. A group of friends and I sat at one of the picnic tables in the back during the afternoon/evening. Being spring time, as the sun went down, the weather did start getting cooler. There were heaters available near some of the tables that did provide some warmth, however it was still pretty chilly. Overall the outdoor space is enjoyable. There were about 12 beers available and did cover a wide range of taste preferences. This most recent time, I only had a sour, Flemish Red, which was decent. I really enjoyed our visit here back in February. The vibe was perfect. Busy but not too busy, nice and laid back. I am more of a cider fan over beer and they had one (I believe they make it themselves) that was really tasty. My fiancé really enjoyed the beers he tried, too. Another great addition to the craft beer scene in Columbus! Although parking seems like it would be challenging without a large designated lot, I've never had any issue finding street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Sure, you might have to walk a few minutes but it's not bad. I absolutely love the interior seating area. There are private tables (huge plus for me because I don't love communal seating) as well as lots of seating around the bar. I enjoy sitting in the bar seats by the window facing Parsons to do some people watching and enjoy the natural light. There's an outside patio with tables as well. During my most recent visit, I had a mulberry saison and loved it. I'll keep ordering this as long as it is on the draft list! This was an unexpected delight on both visits. Met a first date here on a Sunday and get a stamp in my Columbus Ale Trail book at the same time. Street parking is available within walking distance in the neighborhood. Found out that with a beer purchase they will pay for use of the pinball machines as a Sunday special. We were seated at the bar area between the front door and the food truck. You can make a game of finding the googly eyes. It was a great conversation spot as it wasn't too loud or crowded. I had the semi-dry cider. They have a variety of beer styles on the menu so there should be something for just about everyone. My second visit was on a Saturday evening and the inside was packed. Yes! A local bar and brewery in my neighborhood. I am thrilled. Trendy interior, nice selection of their locally brewed beers as well as wine and cocktails. I prefer red wine so I appreciate when breweries have the option. But I tried the grapefruit wheat ale and it was tasty. The bar tender happily let me try a sample to ensure I would be delighted. There was a Hawaiian food truck outside. Some people in my group tried it and they thoroughly enjoyed. They also mentioned you can order food delivered to the bar and it's cool with the staff. That's a plus! They said last time they got pizza. Lots of seating for large groups. It wasn't crowded when I was there on a Thursday night. They were playing (not one) but two different episodes of Bob Ross. Quirky touch. I'm guessing it's not a sports bar and that's fine with me. The parking is unclear. I parked at the fitness loft lot but only because I had just come from a class. I'm not sure if they have a parking lot, don't think so. But there is free street parking around there. Popped over here for happy hour with some co-workers and was super impressed! I didn't realize how close it was to the children's hospital, which will definitely make it a regular in our HH rotation :) The overall decor of the brewery was trendy - since it was pretty nice out, we sat on the patio, which was lovely. I can definitely see myself sitting out here and sipping one of their beers at any point over the summer. They also have a relatively large interior too, complete with some games and extra sitting, but I pretty much stayed outside. In terms of beer, for being a new brewery, they actually had a decent amount of their own brewed beers, as well as beers from other local breweries. I would definitely suggest trying one of their own beers because duh, it's their thing! I opted for the stout, which had nice chocolate and coffee undertones and was incredibly smooth. I would have liked to see a cider or a sour made by them, but they are still new so I'm sure these are coming in the future! I also appreciated that they offered cocktails and wine for the non-beer drinkers (usually me, but I'm always down to try a local brew). I saw some people with flights, but I didn't know this was an option - they should advertise this more and customers should definitely take advantage! They don't offer their own food, but they are partnered with some food trucks, which is an awesome way to support other local businesses :) Nate's Steamed Bagels was there my night, and although I didn't eat, they got raving reviews from my coworkers! Lastly, a happy hour deal would be nice in the future, as I'm sure they'll get a ton of foot traffic from the hospital. Here for a tour for a friend's birthday. We met with Seth, the brewmaster. He was really knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. He mentioned hitting some snags as they got the place open, but you wouldn't know it. Working to get his beers up and running and he is off to great start. We got to try three that he has running right now and they were really solid beers. On a little island with it being on Parsons, but the venue is really nice! This place shows a lot of potential. My girlfriend and I stopped by for a drink around 1:00 PM on a Sunday, and we were the only ones there. The staff assured us that the night before had been quite busy, which is good to hear. We'd read on Yelp that they offer cocktails, which is what we were hoping to have, but alas, we were informed that they don't serve cocktails on Sundays. As a result, we got a beer (a Wolf's Ridge lager) and alcoholic seltzer (Platform black cherry) and played some pinball -- the bartender comped us four quarters for a couple of plays, which was nice. The drinks were as expected, and we liked the general atmosphere of the place. There's a comfy couch and a few games on a table (CAH, Exploding Kittens, Uno, Jenga etc.), so I can imagine small groups coming in and having fun while getting their drink on. It's a big, open space with unique lighting, and I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like at night. I do wish there were more tables, as a prior reviewer mentioned, and it would have been nice to have even a limited food menu -- tater tots or nachos at least -- as well as cocktails available, but I'm sure that as the weeks go on, they'll get a feel for what the clientele wants and needs. I love this spot! There weren't a ton of beer options from Parsons itself but the grapefruit beer I had was delicious. They also have a few drafts from other local breweries but I'm not sure why you would order those :) They also have the best coasters EVER. It's worth the $1 to buy one. There is a lot of seating both indoor and outdoor, plus a food truck and some pinball. This seems like a great spot to come with a group of friends. I look forward to a return visit. read more

I love that there is a brewery on Parsons! My husband and I are doing some work in the area and love having this spot nearby to visit after a long day. The decor is fun and quirky and the service has always been efficient and friendly. I am a big fan of the grapefruit wheat that they often have, and I love that they carry some local ciders and mixed drinks as well.
