This is definitely one of my favorite shows in Vegas! Loved how intimate it was since it's a smaller group without assigned seating so you can sit in front in the next room if you wanted. Storyline was fantastic and will really move you if you are a creative or wanted to pursue the arts at any point in time. Make sure you get there a bit early so you can interact with the exhibits. There is truly so much to explore and so little time. If you're in a group, it's not a bad idea to split up as you may have different experiences with the acts. I'd absolutely attend the show again! I went to the Luxor this morning to do the Wanderlust experience. The evening show is called simply The Show. The evening show has some live actors. For Wanderlust, you're on your own in a way. Wanderlust has a story. To do the experience better, there is a QR code at the engance and you're urged to download it and follow it. At certain areas, you point the app at an object and some of the story with animated characters comes on your screen. The rooms are much like the ones at the Particle Ink show in the Arts District but the area is much larger. There are 5 areas where you scan an object, press play on the app, and then it gives you the story. There are places to sit down if you're tired from standing and walking. A couple of notes: Particle Ink is on the Atrium level across from the food court. When you come in from the parking lot walkway, go left and take the escalator or stairs and it brings you almost right to the entrance. Ear buds or headphones are highly recommended although there are captions along with the voices. It would be more enjoyable to listen through the buds and it would be quieter for others. For the day show, you have a window of time. The show runs from 11 AM to 5 PM with last entrance at 4:15.. You can plan your day and go when you want. I enjoyed my experience today but even though it's larger, I missed the performers that I saw in the Arts District. read more

Truly a unique experience. This was a good interactive show. You move from room to room helping put the story together. Beautiful performances and a thoughtful being behind the show. Follow the story line and pay attention to the clues. Great show to bring kids or enjoy as an adult. I would say if you decide to attend the show keep in mind you have to move around and there are limited seating areas within the different spaces, having to either sit on the floor, steps, or stand. read more

What an unforgettable closing night for the immersive experience, @particleink :House of Shattered Prisms! I had the pleasure of witnessing this magic 2 years ago in a smaller venue, but seeing it unfold in the Luxor was truly something special. I'm glad I was able to catch the final performance. This show is a true visual delight, guiding us through the delicate balance of our inner light and accepting our shadows. One of my favorite moments was being selected by Lilith to write my wish--a beautiful connection to the tradition of placing prayers in the Western Wall. And to top it off, Stori gifted me a key, a cherished keepsake that holds a piece of this artist's heart. This experience was filled with creativity and warmth, and I truly hope it finds new life again. The (h)eartist's journey has so much to teach us all. All that said, I think I enjoyed the experience more in a smaller venue; more than 20 (40+) made most scenes hard to see at times and this was a bit frustrating considering the cost compared to the last time I saw it. read more

Hands down the best interactive 2.5 dimensional show. We went for my sisters birthday and it was the perfect balance of actors, areial, dancers, contortionist, a stilt walker, puppetry, lights, smoke and smells. There was so much emotion involved between the music, the lights and the live actors. Each area had a different smell to go along with a feeling or sensation. There was also what smelled and looked like dry sage and lavender hanging from the ceiling in one of the rooms. My sister sometimes gets over stimulated and yet this was perfect for her. Every room was creativity layed out and if you have difficulty sitting on pillows on the floor they are accommodating most rooms you have the option to sit or stand. It is 75 minutes but they give you aple time inbetween the acts to move around and interact with each room before and after the show time. The ushers were wonderful giving direction and the lack of speaking adds to the mystical quality. Minor input is I wish there was more direction for the interactive portions they do say everything can be touched. So get there 30 minutes before and play with the mirrors, the Unicorn light horns,the plama ball, write on the wall in the bed room by the stars, and after the show they will hand out spray cans to graffiti the walls. This immersive show was so fun and unique. Be prepared for it to touch your soul. They go deep and it's a wonderfully unique brain child. Always fun to see a different kind of art. Dance, acrobatics, puppetry, and storytelling in a unique format. Several different rooms and experiences to complete the story. It was a delight! Thanks to TikTok, I found out about Particle Ink and was very lucky to check this out during its last weekend. We bought tickets online, and it was a beautiful and otherworldly experience that was incredibly heart-felt and thoughtful. I appreciate how the performers really worked hard to make everything so magical, immersive, and interactive. The neighborhood admittedly doesn't feel the safest, and my boyfriend was admittedly sketched out. But once we found the location and the crowd, we were at ease. I really enjoy all the artistry behind the puppets, the animations and projections, the dancing and acrobatics, the music, and the story. It's overall a very familiar tale-as-old-as-time theme of light vs dark, childlike wonder and innocence vs the big scary world, and I really appreciate how it was all executed. This is definitely not your typical big-budget flashy Las Vegas show! It felt very homey and sweet, and despite all the darkness and some of the visuals that might be scary for children, it was ultimately very uplifting. After the show, I chatted with a staff member who said they have plans to take the show to the strip, revamped with a bigger budget. I hope they do move to the Strip! It'd be so wonderful to see them grow and succeed there, and then I'd get to say that I was there when they started at their original show! read more

It was a pleasant experience but as someone who has enjoyed quite a few immersive performances, I'd say it needs a few kinks worked out. They try to present themselves as a immersive experience that allows you to go at your own pace with "suggestions" on where to go but in our experience it didn't feel that way. There was a very clear rhythm and if you missed a performance occurring in a room because you were off exploring something else or sitting in another empty room then that was it. There was no repeat. Lol That could have been more clear as I would have been paying attention to where I should be heading to, to ensure I didn't miss anything. The performers were great from what we saw and the storyline is cute. Some moments were cheesy and some were impressive. I enjoyed the puppet and the ending was fun to watch. This journey could've either been more guided or been 30 minutes longer with repeat performances so guests can truly go at their own pace and explore. read more

May 17, 2024 - 2 days ago my daughter asked what I was doing on Friday night. No plans, so she says okay Mom I'm taking you to a show. It's at the Luxor. I haven't been to the Strip in years and I live here in Vegas. It is now Friday and I spend the day with her, then, my daughter, her fiance and I head on over to the Luxor. The show starts at 7, we reached the doors at 6:45 pm, so we didn't have long to wait. We went and wait inside, they had a little bar area and we bought some bottled waters. The entrance is dark except for all the neon lighting so that you can take in the ambiance. The coolest entrance, walking through the fog. Looking around and seeing the walls with the drawings. Not knowing what we are headed to we just follow everyone, they do have guides dressed in black with capes, which reminded me of Zorro. "Story", a puppet welcomes everyone and interacts with the guest. I was taking a picture of Story and when I turned around he asked me what my name was, lol, I turned around and said "Who Me?" and he said "Yes", which made me smile. The performances are amazing and they get your attention, the music is awesome. I was just so intrigued! I was expecting the performers to speak, but it is all interpreted through watching the graphic animation. It's a 75-minute show, but I was so into the show that I didn't realize it was that long. I truly enjoyed myself with my kids. After the show, they have Spray paint cans and you can use them to "Graffiti" the wall, it was so very cool. There is a story, but everyone may view it differently. In my opinion, it was the story of life. My daughter saw this show before and she had a different interpretation than mine. I recommend seeing this amazing show. Doesn't matter if you go with others or by yourself, I was truly amazed! I waited until I got home to see all the pictures I took, oh yes, I forgot, make sure you turn off your flash when you take pictures of videos. I got some amazing shots. My husband was given tickets to see this performance art show last night. My husband said he was told it was an immersive light show. I was thinking that it was supposed to be like the immersive Van Gogh exhibit. Apparently I got the name wrong which is why I couldn't find anything about it online. So we show up to this unmarked building downtown that has a security guard and a merch table outside... Upon entering the building, my husband said it might be a haunted house but wasn't sure if people in character would jump out at us. The costumed staff led everyone in through this maze of rooms and then kept moving us through rooms to watch this performance art. *Cue record scratch* What in the Marina Abramovic is this? Baby crib with candles around it? Some sort of esoteric symbol on the floor with pillars and candles as if someone is going to conjure something. Straight up occult and kabbalah symbols and writing everywhere. Immediately I was like "HARD NOPE. Jesus. Holy Spirit. Father God... Need protection around us immediately. We are not participating in whatever this is." I'm looking around and I'm like, "hell no, not today Satan." While this girl was doing this dance on a bed I looked over at the wall and saw this on the wall and floor. - "As above" written above the crib in reference to the Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus, but more commonly associated with Satanism. There was also a giant kabbalah tree of life on the floor. No. No. No. Needless to say my husband and I bounced the second the doors were opened to the outside of this warehouse maze. THE GOOD Timing: Okay from a technical standpoint this is an incredible feat of live choreography combined with animated projections. The choreography timing is absolute perfection in conjunction with the video and lighting components throughout the show. I can't imagine what a nightmare it was to time everything. Set design: clearly the set designer is well versed in esoterica and the occult. Pieces from alchemy, occultism, kabbalah, Gnosticism, New Age and Satanism were huge parts of both the story and the set design. The set was incredibly detailed and scary AF when you noticed the details. Technology: Think more like a more advanced technology built on Pokemon Go. There were hand mirrors with screens that would show things that weren't there when aiming at a specific spot on the wall. There were also fake spray paint cans that you could actually press the nozzle down and on the screen in front of you it would light up exactly where you were aiming. It was instantly responsive. There were also unicorn horn flashlights that would have projections play in the wall wherever you pointed it at the wall. I'm guessing the wall itself is the screen?!I have no idea how the technology works but it was interesting. THE BAD: Crowd: you kind of shuffle around as a group and it makes it hard to see everything. I almost tripped over another customer who was sitting on the floor. Storyline: Heavy gnostic-influenced storyline about demon god kings, pride, creation and accepting the dark within. No thanks. OVERALL: While on a technical level the production is well done, the theme and story is extremely polarizing and for me, totally not something I'd ever recommend for people to see. I don't mess with the occult. I don't think magick and archons and spells are something to play around with. Would have loved to have seen this immersive technology showcased with a different theme and story. read more

Definitely NOT your typical Vegas show! It is an innovative(in the U.S. anyway), immersive, and interactive experience that takes you into the 2.5th dimension that has intertwined digital art and animation with a splash of artistic dance styles( Lyrical, Contortionist, Aerial/Pole, B-Boy, and Krumping, etc.) Pictures are permitted, but absolutely no videos and flash photography are allowed! Located in the Arts District in DTLV directly across The English Hotel, showtimes are at 7pm, and 9pm. Purchase tickets online and be there 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. Also be warned that this is a limited engagement and shows will only run through July! You can either follow them on IG to get familiar with the characters and storyline, or even go in with no expectations and be mind blown. The use of multiple rooms in the same space is genius! You won't experince any FOMO because throughout this little over an hour experience, it allows you to revisit all rooms thanks to the characters and team players. Keeping up with the storyline may be a bit challenging but the digital animation and effects were next level and the interactive parts were fun! My day job is that of a critic, so it's rare when I am so befuddled and perplexed by an activity or attraction that it leaves me at a loss for words. "Particle Ink" did just that. It's good, but strange, and I can't really articulate why. If you're into independent performance art, this is a must-see. Without offering up spoilers, make sure you arrive for your ticketed time at least 15 minutes early. There was already a line stretching down the sidewalk when I arrived. Soon after, things got....weird, and the crowd was greeted and encouraged to wander inside "and explore.'' But HANG ON a minute -- you aren't really supposed to wander or "explore." I tried to get a closer look at something and was immediately shoved back the other way. It's unclear where to go or what to do, so most people just sat on the concrete floors to watch the unusual performances. The cast is very small. There are modern dancers, a breakdancer, and women who hang from poles and do some acrobatic work. Most of the performers interact with animation that flickers on the wall. This is sort of like a living animated nightmare, if I had to describe it succinctly. The soundtrack is great, but the volume was a little loud. It's impossible to figure out what the story is, but once in a while there are some visual text prompts that say things like "you found the feather," which even within the context of the show doesn't make a lot of sense. Just sort of go with it and experience it. There are a few interactive elements that are kind of fun, but it's mostly watching unusual dance performances set against a cartoon backdrop. Everything is very fluid, and it plays like a very modern art museum. Some of the costumes are scary, and it's a very dark theme (there's even this cult-like part with candles and laser beams and a magic witch circle that's super weird). The crowd during my showtime had a lot of older folks mixed with some uptight yuppie types, and then the expected artsy folks and funky burners. I was surprised more people didn't walk out, but you're kind of trapped once you get inside. The show is a little over an hour in length, and it's worth watching it just so you can discuss what the heck was going on when it's over. Look, I am all about supporting indie artists, and this show is doing it at the grassroots level. I'm well-versed in performing arts, and the more outrageous the better. Is this for everybody? Heck no. I'm not even sure if I know anyone I would be comfortable recommending it to. But you know what? It's an unusual enough experience that creatives will likely enjoy, if just for the "WTF?" factor. read more

(Experienced on April 21, 2024 after the move to Luxor as Particle Ink: House of Shattered Prisms) Every once in a while, I try something new that changes my view of art. Like the first time I visited a live stage performance, television seemed so flat afterward. And the first time I visited a theme park with live street performers, stage shows seem less immersive after that. Particle Ink had that same impact on me. I went in without knowing what to expect, something about the building inside Luxor appealed to me, so I bought a ticket for the live performance and tried it. I was blown away by the experience and walked out speechless. How could a performance be so immersive, so heart wrenching, and so impactful? It is challenging to describe this experience, it isn't a show, it isn't an act...it's like a Live Action Role Playing experience with top-notch performers that interact with the visitors (I can't even use the word audience here) in a thrilling and thought-provoking way. If you are at all interested in experiencing alternative story-telling, then I highly recommend Particle Ink. You won't be disappointed. read more

The venue is easy to find and we found free parking within a block. The show starts prompt and it starts outside the warehouse. Don't worry about getting there too early but if you do, there is a brewery right next door. The show is SUPER unique. So much so that it is difficult to describe. It has a plot and follows a story. It incorporates 3D light, projection, performance art. It's mostly nonverbal but there is a lot to see. I did feel a bit lost at times. There is little direction and some opportunities to explore. There was one point when there was dual performances by two dancers and it would have been nice to know, they would both perform twice, so stay and watch one and then go watch the other later. Instead I saw 1/2 of both of the performers think I was missing out on something. There are a lot of interactive displays so make sure you explore the different building within and don't spend too much time in one place so that you can see it all. It was definitely a good way to spend an hour. You can definitely tell a lot of work went into the making of the show. read more

Amazing! I saw pictures and videos on FB and Insta, but actually experiencing it was so worth it. Bought my ticket at the box office thinking I would save on fees - nope, it would have been cheaper online. The show was at 7, and I was able to enter the lobby area around 640. There's a bar and store in the lobby with a couple of things to see. There is no place to sit and wait, nor a restroom, so I'm glad I went ahead of time. When show time starts, you are ushered into a hallway & rooms of which you can explore. The show begins in one room with a puppet, but trust me, it gets better from there. When you enter a room with square padded seats, I would suggest sitting right up front cause you might be asked to be part of the seance of light like I was. (kinda cool). In the room with the bed, sit in front to get a better view. In the main room with the water, I would stand by the wall, opposite the book shelf, for the best view. You can sit anywhere in the room with the toilet. You'll see pole dancing, super flexibility, break dancing, and other really cool ways to play with light. The best part is you're right there in front of it, not on a balcony seat way in the back. I've been to many Vegas shows, and this one has become one of my top 5. read more

Particle Ink: House of Shattered Prisms. I was excited to experience this production in its new space at the Luxor. I had previously seen - and LOVED - Particle Ink: Speed of Dark in the Arts District warehouse space during that past residency. The new evolution absolutely did not disappoint. While it's no longer in what seems like a secret warehouse on an industrial street, you are still transported to a beautiful art space once you cross the threshold into the theater space. Slot machines, smokey casinos and throttling traffic don't exist for the next 75 minutes. What's it about? You'll need to find out... I do appreciate the storytelling, technology, and physical wonders that are now more accessible for folx visiting Las Vegas. In the realm of trusting your audience instead of dumbing it down to play it safe, Particle Ink certainly delivers an intelligent experience. Staff: the guides and production managers were very skilled at guiding the audience through this unique space and experience while also supporting the cast and production flawlessly. Accessibility: There are flashing lights and amplified sound, which are disclosed in advance of ticket purchase. It is a standing, walking, seated combination. There is no rush to move between the spaces and the guides will assist you with a seat or where to stand. Value for $: 10/10. This is a production that combines technology, storytelling, and physical storytelling in a very unique way and I feel the base ticket price is worth it. The pretty simple story had some interesting and tragic layers, starting with the death of a couple's child at the beginning. I think my companion missed this until I explained it afterward. It was an extremely creative and cool interactive experience for older teens and adults , but it's a bit pricey. It's a journey through the mind of an artist using light and video installments and shows that were very intimate and whimsical. The story line was a bit dark and had some demonic vibes, so maybe they should state that it could be scary for ages 12 and under. The dancers and performers were amazing, but I didn't really enjoy the Illuminati sacrifice ceremony vibes at the beginning. Kinda weird and awkward. But other than that, I really enjoyed it and how different of a show it was. My issues were mainly the demonic vibes and the cost of tickets is high. read more

As the story progresses, you are moved into different room with intimate performance We took an elderly grandparent who has issues with standing for long periods of time. I honestly don't really know where to start with this review because I haven't really seen anything like this show - it's an immersive show experience with talented performers, a unique and very detailed setting and interactive technology. I took my husband for his birthday, because he's open minded and into creative stuff like this. We both came away with different understandings of the storyline but both thought it was cool to see - we left interested to see more by this group and with plenty to talk about. Order your tickets online and then show up at the venue, which is essentially a warehouse. The show itself is loosely structured with a beginning, middle, and end that are presented to the whole group, but there are times in between where attendees can wander the "set" and interact with the décor and props. Smaller scenes like vignettes are held throughout the warehouse, and seemingly simultaneously - I saw some parts but know I missed others. This actually prompted me to go back with a friend, where I saw more of the scenes. In addition to acting, there are performances that involve break dancing, pole dancing, and contortion - in addition to some really unique applications of interactive technology. I don't want to give away the storyline but just keep in mind that art is open to interpretation - my husband and I walked away with two different (though similar) understandings of what the story was about and what the creator was trying to say. I do wish there was a way to speak with someone (involved with the show) further about what was intended, but the fact that you leave the show still thinking about what happened and what it meant is impressive on it's own. TIPS: This show is a limited time engagement so if you are interested, go ahead and book tickets now. Make it an easy date night by going across the street to the Pepper Club for dinner or drinks before or afterwards. I don't know that I'd consider this particularly child-friendly, maybe stick to teenagers and up. read more

Art can be a difficult thing to rate, so I'm going to give this place five stars off the bat for the unique experience I had when visiting Particle Ink: Speed of Dark. The building itself is pretty cool from the outside with just a neon sign and a security guard outside to let you know you are at the right place. The show I went too started at 8PM and was definitely something I won't forget anytime soon. You basically step into a live action play and exist through the characters around you. I'm not going to spoil what happens or give out information that should be experienced first hand, but I can't help but wonder if everyone's experience is different based on the type of person you are or what details you may or focused on that others haven't. I won't lie and say I understood or liked every single aspect of what I saw, but the lights, characters, and hands on parts of the show made it super compelling and I respect this type of art so much because it really takes a lot to not only create it, but put it on and let people see what's going on inside your mind. Overall, this is definitely a unique experience that will be different for everyone. I enjoyed the immersive experience for what it was and look forward to seeing what else comes from this type of venue and show. Do I recommend it? Life is meant to be experienced, follow your heart and do what you love. As Joan Jett once said, "Life is strong and fragile. It's like a paradox...It's a particle and a wave at the same time. It all exists all together." The show is wonderfully orchestrated, it's a remarkable story that transition into the 2.5th dimension. Venue takes place at the Lighthouse, an abandoned warehouse located on Main Street, and across from The English Hotel. There is free street parking available but do check the sign for any restriction. They start on time and the scene begins outdoor with a storyteller. From there, we were led inside the warehouse. We followed the hand signals showing us where to go and leading us to a different space. There's no flash photography allowed. The environment setting is dark and we did encounter a few haze but we also experienced some of the coolest flashing lights and animations, it was magnificent! For the most part, we were walking, exploring and moving around the space which was all part of the excitement and discovery. While present, you have to be in the moment to see and understand what's happening. Not only is this an extraordinary performance by talented artists, but it's also an immersive experience. We were approached by a lady and she gave us a candle to hold. We were led to a wall that had writings and inscriptions. I'm not sure if anyone else know this, but there is an important letter on that wall. Definitely check out the performance and find the letter because it is a significant part of the storyline, of darkness and light, fear and love, and knowing if I knew where you were, then nothing would be lost. read more

Very touching and moving piece of art-to put it into an awesome perspective. At the end of our show, we had such an honor to have met some of the elite curators/stewards of the show, plus Noah the Director and main curator of Particle Ink. Particle Ink is like nothing I've ever seen before. It's a mash up of live virtual & live performers mixed in with some interactive elements. Honestly words can't even fully explain it. Walking up to the building it looks like nothing but an empty alley & can be easy to miss. We lucked out finding it since there was already a group huddled around. The two downsides for me were having to wait outside in the heat until the show time & that there's not a bar or concession area of any kind. Maybe I'm just used to everything in Vegas having a bar, but it would have been nice to offer at least beer and wine. Outstanding performance! 10 Stars! Amazing talented performers. Truly a unique interactive experience within a performance. So much to take in as you go from room to room to watch the artists perform. There is a special storyline to follow, so its good to pay attention to detail. Best to be on time as it starts right on the nose. Its hard to explain all that I encountered, you will need to experience for yourself. All I can say is, its worth it! A must see in Las Vegas. Great for children and adults. They have a limited engagement, so be sure to check the days and time you want to go. Located in an eclectic warehouse downtown in the Las Vegas Art's District on Main street just off Charleston. Plenty of side street parking(free). Across from the Todd English Boutique Hotel. I seldom write show reviews but this was outstanding. You can tell the creator put his all into this. The art, the music, the acting, the illusions, the story...all 10/10. We came on a Saturday evening and our group as well as the rest of entire crowd loved it. Been in Vegas 15 years and have seen everything, this was extremely unique and memorable. I saw advertisements for this show on Facebook and it intrigued me. Finding the venue was not easy I passed it like 3 times. The name is written in chalk super small on the side of the building. The building itself had us a little like what did we just walk into. The parking situation wasn't that great either. This isn't a typical sit around and watch a show. It's interactive. You watch a skit and move to the next room. There was a point they had two skits going on at once i thought I missed the one but was able to circle back once they started back up. I honestly never did understand the whole plot of it. It was kind of confusing. Artistically it is very well done and fun to watch the interaction between the drawings and the live people. I just feel like there was way to much going on. I had one of the actors having me write on a tree. I had no idea what I was suppose to write or the point. In another part I was handed a candle but couldn't figure out what it was for. I was handed a flashlight for this wall in this room covered in like news paper articles and the light revealed things that once again made no sense. It was confusing yet neat at the same time. Possibly one of the most confusing shows I've seen. Maybe you'll understand it better. Awesome concept. Maybe it's one you need to see a few times to get it. the performers were very talented though. I enjoyed watching them. It's a fairly short show I feel like it was only an hour long. read more

If I could give this 100 I would! It was surprisingly awesome! It was an experience that everyone should have. Having recently gone through something very similar, it was very therapeutic!!! It helped us come to terms with many things we've been avoiding. Crazy to say that about an immerse art experience but it helped us more than you can imagine. I would absolutely recommend seeing this production. The venue is intimate which is a refreshing change from the over produced shows usually showcased along the strip. The projection mapping is stunning. You can see in the details of the set, the time and care the creators devoted to bringing this dream like world to reality. The performers breathed life into each character and you truly feel drawn into each of their journeys. The story is whimsical, fun and wonderful for all ages. I don't know how to describe this show/experience other than as amazing! I have literally never experienced anything like it! It's immersive, it's inspiring and fun! I also really appreciate the intimate nature of the experience rather than a typical large show with a sea of people in the audience. In a city filled with spectacles and endless entertainment, this immersive show was just what I needed. It is a mixture of theater, storytelling, dreams and wonder. I felt like a kid again! You walk through different areas that encourage interaction with the actors and the scenes, which actually makes you feel like a part of the story. Like falling down the Rabbit Hole. There were dancers, fighters, good - vs - evil, tiny happy Light Creatures. Areas to sit and areas to walk around; areas where you become part of the story (if you want to). Their brilliant use of light and darkness created a magical, mystical experience. There were some kids in the audience, as well. The looks on their faces? Priceless!
