I had a similar experience with another customer who owned an E92 M3. After performing a rod bearing service, we discovered metal shavings. Parts Score took the vehicle back and resolved the issue, but the valve cover also needed to be resealed. Additionally, when I picked up the vehicle, I noticed the steering felt noticeably heavier after the rod bearing service. I was initially advised that this was normal, but later informed that the power steering pulley needed to be replaced. This used to be a great shop. read more

DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! my buddy paid for the "ROD BEARING SERVICE" for his E92 M3 and he has only driven the car less than 2K miles (no spirited driving) and he was in the process of selling the car when they found metal shavings in the oil! We found it funny that when we went to pick up the car that they "threw away" the bearings since we wanted to see them, I asked around from some people and they advised me not to trust them, that a couple of them did non legal drugs while on the job, I also did find it funny that one of the guys kept sniffing a lot and rubbing his nose! DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! They also messed up my wheel lock on my M4 and I had to pay another shop to fix their mistake! read more

TLDR: went in for a pre purchase inspection for a 2005 BMW M3. I get the impression they have some kind of deal where they overlook major issues so a used car dealership can sell a vehicle or they just don't know what they're doing. I am left feeling like I got hustled. If you want the details: I had a very disappointing experience with Parts Score. I live out of state, and was looking at a 2005 M3 in Scottsdale. The dealership recommended Parts Score to me as they specialize in BMW cars. I asked that they be thorough and specifically asked they made sure to double check certain issues M3's tend to have. They sent me the report, which seemed to have repairs that are pretty standard. However, they didn't follow up with me to go through the report even though I asked them to call me back twice. Since they seemed like a reputable company, I showed the suggested repairs to my mechanic here in LA and he said it was a good purchase. Yes repairs were needed but it was seemingly worth it. Upon receiving the car, the car was overheating on the first drive in 60 degree weather, the tire light was red and the rear wheel was flat in a few days time even though the report said they were in good condition. It also said that it had no signs of being raced or tracked, which is ludicrous in the condition it's in. I wouldn't have paid for the car at the dealership price point had I been made aware of this. I sent an email to the dealership, and Parts Score reached out instead to address the report and said that everything that I had referenced in the email was in the report, it was just "different terminology." Also, they didn't see cracks in the mounting, which I had asked them specifically to check out. The cracks are very apparent. When I told him I would send him photos, he acted indifferent and said it's fine but it's just a case of he said she said. Cool! So they couldn't care less, even when I offered up proof. read more

Jason and team were excellent to work with for the install of an Eventuri carbon fiber intake and a Remus race car-back exhaust on my 2022 M3 Competition. The price I was quoted for install was very reasonable, the communication was great, and the install went smoothly. They even did a mini photo shoot of the car once they were done and posted it online for me to view and download the photos. The gentleman that worked with me on my tuning goals was Jason (the owner) and the front end communication was handled by Hez. Both are very knowledgable and are there to help you get the best performance for your budget.
