Prior to March 2020, I had been into Party Cake Bakery a handful of times. However, once we were thrown into the world of COVID, I found myself at Party Cake several times a week. Maybe it was because pastelitos, croquetas, and bocaditos are my comfort foods, maybe it was because I know I could get quality items quickly with friendly service, or most likely, it was all of the above. I've seen first hand, the "social distancing" changes that Party Cake has enacted and boy, they have it down to a science without skipping a beat. No more than 10 people are allowed into their establishment, Xs are clearly marked on the floor six feet apart, they've put boundaries to keep customers from getting too close to the refrigerated cases, the employees, and the cashier. There is also plenty of hand sanitizer to go around. All of their items are out of this world, but my favorites are the cheese pastelito, the ham croquetas, and the senoritas. On top of the quality and tastiness of the food, the price is extremely reasonable. It seems as though I can get enough food for a small army for less than $15. Party Cake has managed to take the lemons we were all given in March, and make lemonade. I truly appreciate them! read more

The pan con bistec is one of the best I've ever had. Great flavor and tender. The other sandwiches are also great along with the pastelitos and cakes. They tend to have a huge line on Sunday mornings for their breakfast which is also great. I hate lines so I avoid that rush. read more

This is another addition to this successful local Cuban bakery chain. The store front restaurant is bright and clean with delicious fresh bake goods displayed in cases which run the length of the restaurant. A dozen tables allow you to eat inside but the food is so good that you will want to bring some home. read more

My sister-in-law brought me here for breakfast and I was so impressed. Across the board I order a croqueta and any Cuban restaurant to set a base for every other food they have to offer. Croquetas at Party Cake? I'll have them all, please. So yummy! I had an omelette sandwich and it was pretty good. I was glad to see "hot new business" status conferred upon Party Cake Bakery (PCB) by Yelp....a good Latin bakery in "downtown" Cutler Bay was needed since the one in the Exxon station down the street was taken over by corporate giant 7-11. PCB has a large spacious storefront with plenty of room. Unfortunately, the parking lot for the sliver of a strip mall they're in is small and usually full. The counter help was friendly and attentive. It is helpful if you speak Spanish, although I think they may have bilingual employees. On both my visits, I opted for take out. There are several tables to sit at, but some were dirty and no one was attempting to clean them. Onto the food: all the items I had were very delicious, and quintessentially Cuban. There are 2 classes of croqueta: regular and homemade. I opted for homemade and they were quite good.The pork in the pan con lechon and the Cuban was moist, flavorful, and generously portioned. The ham in the Cuban and the media noche was as well, moist and flavorful. The bread for the media noche was moist and the perfect degree of sweetness. The pan con bistec was very tender and I especially enjoyed the crunchy potato sticks in it. The flan was of a perfect consistency and very rich and flavorful. Overall, welcome to the 'hood, PCB! I waited not so patiently for this location to open for what felt like forever. The location on 152 is my favorite bakery in all of south Florida. I've been to a few of the other locations & the quality & service for some reason wasn't the same as 152, but I had extremely high hopes for cutler bay! So, I've been twice already. Both times about an hour before closing so the pastelitos aren't as fresh as they could be, but still really tasty. I'll have to try to make it earlier soon so I can compare them against the 152 location. I've never tried any of the other desserts before Cutler Bay though. So far I've ordered a flan, a tart, & what I was told was a creme brûlée. The flan & tart were so delicious. My favorite tarts are from Norman brothers & the tart here was on par to that imo. I hated having to share with my husband. The creme brûlée turned out to be a vanilla pudding, which was disappointing. The flavor was okay, but obviously it was an entirely different dessert experience than I was expecting. The interior is beautiful. Much nicer & larger than the other locations, super clean. & it has a bathroom, yay! My only issue with this place is the staff. They're nice, don't get me wrong, but they work so so so so SO painfully slow. At my most recent visit there were at least 10 employees, a couple at the counter to take orders & with no other patrons besides a couple sitting at a table, it took 3 minutes for someone to take our order & then she operated at a snail's pace. I get that it's not busy, & honesty I wasn't even in a hurry, but it was frustrating to watch. It was similar during my other visit, but that time there was a line of people when I arrived & after I left. But that's a minor inconvenience, I suppose. It definitely could be much worse. Started out great, but the staff needs to stop playing on their phones (and having sideline conversations), pay attention to the customers waiting to place an order (order takers can't see through the glass case that there are customers waiting in line) and keep the dining area CLEAN. I noticed on my last 3 visits that Trash recepticles were overflowing, floor was quite sticky and tables were dirty with more than a few tables with no napkins - and this was during the week. Really a shame if this turns into another crappy Pinecrest bakery... Pay attention owners or your customer base will surely shrink. read more

I really love this bakery. everytime I go there I wanna take one of each thing. My favorite options from there are the Tres Leche, Cuatro Leche, Flan, coconut pastelito, home croqueta, and the chicken empanada. I want so badly to like this place because the food is awesome. I have been here several times, but each time feel like I am part of an assembly line, and the last 2 times the ball was dropped. My order hasn't been accurate yet. Get home looking forward to beef empanada and it is chicken. Paid for a queso pastry and it is nowhere to be found (should have opened the box before I left.) But today topped it off.... nobody looked at me, they helped 2 customers who were behind me, and after someone finally took my order, I stood for 5 minutes waiting to pay someone... ANYONE! Finally, I just told them to cancel the order and I left. So sad... If only they're customer service was committed from the time you enter to the time you leave...I really want to support local businesses but it is hard when you feel ignored. read more

Definitely a morning stop on the way to work. They are always so friendly. Just ordered quite a bit of food for my baby shower and the little mini beef empanadas were just a huge hit. Would recommend using this bakery for all your pastry goodies. read more

We were looking for a place to have breakfast and found it on Yelp. We liked it a lot. We ordered ham, cheese and egg croissant it was delicious super fresh and crunchy. We order the homemade croquettes and were excellent. Cortadito was small but very good and I also ordered a cangrejito pastel cream cheese and ham also very rich. Everything was very well presented and fresh. The service was good although a little slow. You must make a long line to order. I would go again, we loved it. read more

We moved to Cutler Bay and Party Cake is our FAVORITE bakery. We love when we get there and they have freshly made croqueta caseras they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (our kids love them after school). We also loves the señoritas, eclairs, caracoles, pastelitos, etc. They have a great breakfast special that my son loves. The Cafe con Leche with tostada...Yum. We have gone just to buy the freshly baked Cuban Bread that are warm and soft. We have ordered the "San Marco Cakes" and absolutely no left overs at parties. They also sell individual pieces so you can try them. They have individual Strawberry cheesecakes, Opera, Brazo Gitanos, Tiramisu, San Marco, (these vary by day because they do sell out). My daughter loves the flans (they have individual ones that also sell out) and during the holidays they offer several different types of the family size. We have family members that come from far to visit us on the weekends and purposely stop at this bakery before coming over. We are so fortunate and grateful to have this bakery in our neighborhood. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly and they have always been extremely busy when we have gone. It is now a family favorite at any time of the day. They open at 7 am and close at 7 pm. Come with time as they have lines sometimes and parking can get tricky. read more

It's okay but the food needs improvement. I have eaten there twice, and the food is hit or miss. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, it was lacked flavor and the meat was cold (see photos). My friend ordered the Flan, she only ate half as it was not very good. A lady sitting next to us said the Imperial Rice was terrible. The Cafe Con Leche was okay, not bad but not great. The steak sandwich is very good and so is the mango shake. Both are winners and I would order again. The staff is super friendly and the place is nice and clean. It is very sad to know that I have been going there for years and I have a great experience I go Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday and today I had the worst experience from the manager which is the owner son I requested for someone to have my coffee done and he pacifically told me no I'm sorry you have to use the guy that's doing the coffee and I said please as I always use the same person I was so upset that I walked out I called them back on the phone and little to no he did not care that he will lose my business again he just said sorry there's nothing I can do that to me is not great service at all , you need to learn that in life you need to go beyond to help others! read more
