Date of visit: September 23, 2019 My friend and coworker's breast cancer awareness walk for the American Cancer Society is coming up next month, and I was inspired by my former band director (who did the Susan G. Komen walk with his wife a few years back) to wear something special for this year's event... a pink tutu. Since I'm also looking for a Mjolnir hammer for my Captain America cosplay, my lady suggested we kill two birds with one stone and head to Party City. As Halloween season is starting, the costumes and accessories are now beginning to be more prominently displayed on the sales floor. Unfortunately, while I couldn't find the Thor hammer (though it felt like almost everything else superhero related was on view), I did get the pink tutu on a small display dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness month. While the store itself was clean - for now, anyways; we went during a weekday and I have a feeling that weekends will get busier as Halloween approaches - it felt like it took a while for someone to ring me up. And I was the only person in line at the time! Still, a decent selection of costume pieces, so if you're stuck on costume or party ideas, Party City is the place to be. Just make sure to bring your patience as well.

These youngsters went above and beyond and deserve a raise. Way to go you two, manager should be proud.

These youngsters went above and beyond to help me set up my Valentines Day gifts. They definitely deserve a raise, kudos or something cool. Keep it up.

Thanks to Party City, it was very successful 13th birthday party for my daughter. They have everything if you want to plan your own parties. From "It's a Baby!" goods to "Happy 80th Birthday!" party goods. All kinds of different themes that you can imagine. Everyone was very helpful and cashier was friendly. I couldn't give better than 4 stars because balloons are way too expensive. I wanted to purchase 5 letter balloons but they were like $15 a piece. Almost $80 with tax! Candies and plates were way too expensive, too. Try to get candies at Costco or Sam's Club if you have memberships. Try Daiso for plates, too.

This is my favorite place to get party balloons! I just had my sons 2nd birthday party (Mickey Mouse ClubHouse theme) and got a dozen latex ($10), two foil star balloons in blue and red ($1.99 each), one #2 balloon in gold ($9.99) and a Mickey Mouse walker balloon ($20). *Latex balloons are $1 each but they give you a $2 discount if you buy a dozen. I was also able to find some cute party hats with Mickey Mouse ears... They had a nicer selection for Baby's First Birthday where I was able to find very cute custom invites, pinata, decorations, and balloons last year but the older stuff is just not tasteful! * There are a lot of parties going on every weekend here so I know to always order in advance and pick up by 10 am party day....

    Halloween stuff, cool.

Went here today and the manager is incredibly rude. She needs to learn customer service. Very dissatisfied with the service.

About a week before the party I stopped in after work to see what decorations they had. I honestly had no idea of what I was looking for, but I found many items in a rose gold color, so I went with it. For about $130 I was able to buy a bunch of decorations to hang on my patio, a Happy Birthday banner, poofy flower things to build yourself and tape to walls, plates for both dinner and appetizers/dessert, napkins, rose gold plastic cutlery, and I also ordered 15 balloons, a mixture of normal latex and larger, pretty mylars that said HAPPY BIRTHDAY on them. They said the balloons would be ready at 10 AM on Saturday, day of the party. I showed up at 10:10 and they were all blown up and tied together, ready to go! I ended up buying some weighted things to tie them to for the ground, they offered to do it for me, but we weren't sure of the balloon placement yet, so we declined. Nice of them to offer! I often throw parties at my house, but I never decorate. If I decide to in the future, I will go back to Party Party. They seem to have everything one needs. Also, half the store is Halloween costumes, so be prepared to walk up and down every aisle to see what all they have and decide what you want to get!

So my daughter and I went here today, the first girl that started helping us was nice and said to…read moreus there are fitting rooms if you want to try anything on and walked away. My daughter picks out 2 costumes and says she's going to go try them on. I continue looking around for a couple of minutes then walk to the fitting rooms. I'm in the last isle kind of out of sight and another employee comes to help someone try a costume on a didn't realize my daughter was in there. So she starts talking to her through the curtain and tells my daughter who's 9 btw that she was supposed to ask someone to assist her. So I'm sitting there listening and I notice a sign behind a Halloween character that can barely be seen. So then she tells my daughter, the reason why you're supposed to ask for help is because we don't allow people to try every part of the costume and you have on the tights and we don't allow people to try on tights and that's why the sign is posted. So now I had to let presence be known and I said oh you mens the sign that is covered and then she tells me there's signs right there too pointing at 2 other signs that only say 2 costumes per person thank you. So I sat back patiently waiting for my daughter to take the costume she showed me off and the lady asked her did she want to try on the other and I said no we are not trying anything else on. So then and other employee walks up and this same rude employee says to her there have been nothing but problems today. We walked out and purchased a costume at spirit instead they had an attendant at the dressing room helping people out and my daughter was also allowed to try on the tights. Much more pleasant experience there.
