I like the balloons but everything is overpriced! From the candy to the plates it's such a rip off! There are some good deals on bulk party favors so those might be worth a look see! The one off of Quebec is a little tough to find, just look for Home Depot as well as Goodwill and you're getting warmer. Lots of potholes in the parking lot and Walmart is just across the street. Not many people's idea of a good time. Going to Party City in the suburbs on a Saturday isn't my idea of a good time either. Unless you order online in advance, plan on a 25-30 min wait for your balloons to be blown. All that aside, their sheer selection of balloons is pretty epic. Giant, shiny, musical - you name it. $20 or less to make someone's day a bit more special is well worth it. read more

Suuuuuoer unprofessional staff The male manager answered the phone and said "were busy so can you place Your order" I said I did place my order and got an email saying it was canceled. So when I called the first time the lady that answered the phone said "our online doesn't match what's in the store we're Trying to fix it" I said Okay cool I was fine with that. So I go back online to find another costume and before placing the order this time I wanted to make sure they had it. So same last answers And said "oh if it says it's in stock then it is in stock" so I told her well ten minutes ago when I called you you told me a different story.. so she puts me on hold. This time I'm recording the convo. So the pink little boy that answered says "we're busy so can you place your order" I said I am a busy person too. I want to make sure I'm not wasting more of my time. He said I'll go check in back for you. He THINKS he puts me on hold. But doesn't and I can hear him and his whole staff talking sh*t on the phone about me lol. And then says I won't go look in the back for it... just tell her I did. What a joke! Party City has a very nice and extremely helpful staff always has what I need to get my party started

This is the Party City I head to when I inevitably find myself in need of something like helium tanks or last minute photo booth props and I have to say the people working here are amazingly friendly. They aren't the fastest workers I've ever encountered so don't be in a rush, but they always greet me when I come in the door and if I linger in an aisle for a while or stumble around looking at stuff someone always asks me if they can help me find what I'm looking for. The store is also always clean and fairly well laid out so finding what I need is rarely an issue. And if you belong to an organization they'll give you a frequent buyers card that gets you discounts when you spend a certain amount. I want to P-A-R-T-A-Y! Party City is not my destination of choice and honestly I think this is the first time I even walked into one. This place could be dangerous for me, so many sparkly things for me to buy. When I have a child I can see this place being a home away from home for birthdays, special occasions and balloons. They have something for everything, and I really mean everything. On my first visit I was looking for New Years items and boy oh boy did they have a lot of choose from. They had a multitude of plates, napkins, 2014 tiaras, 2014 glasses, hats, noise makers, and so much more. I would watch the prices, they can add up pretty quickly if you just go for the grab and don't look at the price (I'm guilty). They have all kinds of fun size candy, all shapes of candy, retro candy, and seasonal candy. I would rather go to Dollar Tree but Party CIty has a better selection...sometimes. I called ahead to ask if they had punch ladles. The associate had NO idea what I was talking about. After explaining to her what a punch ladle was, she told me they had them. I went to the store right away and imagine that, they didn't have any. It was super frustrating. The same thing happened to me when I called the location on Colorado Blvd (in the University Hills Shopping Center). The associate "had some" and of course they didn't. Wish the customer service was better. There's always room for improvement people! Yeesh! read more

Wow if u want slow service, extremely slow employees with no sense of urgency to get your customers out of a huge line this is the store for your party needs. I really like how it takes 2 employees to fill one balloon when there is a line and only one cashier. I won't be back, plus Walmart wad next door, cheaper and pretty much had the same stuff. read more

Super upset with my visit . I'm only here couple times a year so it's really upsetting when you go and have such a bad experience.. First I walked straight to the balloons bc that's the only thing I was going for and 1 of the girls at the register wasn't even wearing her mask property. The girl rudely asked my sisters and I if we were ready to check out, when she had just seen us walked in . I told her we were there to buy balloons she didn't say anything and walked away . She made us wait for couple minutes while she just talked and laughed with her coworker , they both kept looking at us as if they were gossiping about us . She then yelled at us to come up to the register as if she was waiting on us . She didn't say a word , didn't even asked about the balloons & didn't even give me my total . She took about 10 min to fill up the ONE balloon we had bought. As we waited the other girl helped another customer & charged her for balloons they didn't even have . When the customer asked for her money back the girl checking her out rudely gave her back her refund and was giving her coworker the annoyed look .. After she had given us the balloon my sister asked for a receipt and they again looked at each other then laughed ... Don't know about you but that to me is such such poor customer service put them girls in the back to stock or don't even have them in the store at all. read more

Horrible customer service and apparently teenage children need to be quiet and not touch anything even while their parents are standing right next to them. They will be threatened to be kicked out. I primarily shop for parties I have for my children, so if you don't accommodate them in your store, then I will not shop there. read more

I would give this place negative stars if I could. I've looked everywhere to email the company, but I cannot find anything. Let me just start with, I've spent HUNDREDS of dollars at this particular store in the last week for my daughter's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY! I placed an order for balloons at the beginning of last week to pick up on Saturday right before the birthday party. I realized the day before that I needed to change the pick up time, so I went into the store and asked for the balloons an hour earlier. The man that helped me was great, and I wish I could say the same about all of their employees. I showed up to pick up my daughter's balloons the next morning at the time that I requested and they couldn't find my order. When I gave them the receipt, the girl helping me said "well of course they're not blown up yet, you're an hour early." I was not an hour early... I requested that time would be changed, which it was because I saw it on the top of the paper that she pulled out with my order. She blew up my balloons and I walked out of the store. Now, I should have verified that I had all of the balloons before I walked out of the store, but I didn't. That's my fault. I got to my car, put the balloons in the car, but again, did not pay attention to the balloons that I placed in the back of my car. As soon as I got to the birthday party, I realized I was missing a balloon. (Big Silver Foil 'a'") I figured that either I wasn't handed the balloon when I picked them up OR the balloon wasn't tied correctly when they attached the ribbon. I called the store. The lady that answered was BEYOND rude. She responded with "The girl that blew up the balloon knows she gave it to you, so it's your fault that you let it blow away." I let her know that my husband would be coming in to buy yet ANOTHER $10 balloon to complete the spelling of my daughter's name. When he arrived, he asked for the balloon and paid for it. He was standing in the store, waiting for the balloon to be blown up and the employees start talking in Spanish amongst each other saying "That's the husband of the girl that called saying we didn't give her a balloon. Make sure to give him the receipt and tie the ribbon to the balloon the right way." Little did they know, he speaks Spanish. He responded with "Yes, she is my wife", grabbed the balloon and walked away. I am beyond mad at the disrespect and the customer service we received. How hard is it to be nice to people???! I was nice the entire time and got nothing but attitude and disrespect each time I was in the store. Never Again. read more
