I don't think See's gets enough credit for what they do. Besides the annual holiday rush for chocolate gifts, See's is one of the few places that gives you a sample of their chocolates...for free! Okay, you go in there to buy, but it's a nice gesture right? Am going to share two other examples of why I love See's. 1) One day I purchased something and inside the box was a small bag of Skittles. I loved that and it always stuck with me. Fast forward, I create hand painted pots. One day I thought, wouldn't it be nice to add a small treat along with the art? Absolutely! I started doing just that mostly with See's lollipops. 2) On Fridays we go for happy hour. Afterwards we walk the mall. I eat chocolate daily. I love this since I was a teenager not this location specifically. See's candies is my favorite and top tier. My go to when I'm depressed or happy. Scotch kisses - caramel and marshmallow Dark chocolate scotch mallow - dark chocolate, caramel and marshmallow. Milk chocolate scotch mallow - milk chocolate, caramel and marshmallow Dark or milk chocolate brown sugar- firm brown sugar, vanilla and heavy cream. Those are all my favorites. I couldn't take pictures because i popped them all in one sitting lol I was depressed regarding my phone. Extremely hard to find this location in the mall. See's candy has been a staple in our family. Came here on a weekend so as expected, it's busy as this location is located on the first floor of the Roseville galleria mall by crate and barrel. The line moved pretty quickly but this location always feels warm and I feel myself melting like chocolate sometimes lol. Got a half pound box and I believe Lauren helped us. She was super nice. I wish the wrapper cup of each candy said the name of the chocolate. That way you know what candy you're grabbing when you go home and start digging into your box. Most amazingly delicious candy shop in the world. I don't care what anyone has to say if they beg to differ. Sees chocolates are beyond phenomenal and draws in a huge crowd of people especially around the holidays. I always am tempted to get a chocolate or two or even a box of their specialty candy when I pass by their store. Samples are always offered to you too; a dark or milk chocolate or one of your choosing. I recommend butterscotch squares, strawberry cremes, orange cremes and Mayfair's; which are some of my personal favorites. Of the non chocolates, scotch kisses and apricot delights are pretty wonderful as well and very understated pieces. There is something so special about how they make their chocolates that is head and shoulders above the rest. If you haven't tried See's candies yet, go now! I'm going to update my review from my last in December. Not quite at 5 stars yet, but I dropped in on Valentine's Day so I knew it was going to be busy! The truffle line is still going around the all of the merchandise for all other customers which is my biggest complaint because it's almost impossible to shop around with a line of people inside of the tiny store. But I will up my review to 4 stars this time because the cashier that's by the front door for all other merchandise sales was helpful and able to grab what I needed so I could check out. I can't stress enough how entirely annoying it is to have to look around people in the truffle line ask people to move or have to get in someone else's space because you can't reach what you're wanting or can't see where something is because the truffle line is wrapped in front of literally all of the merchandise in the store. I think your customer base would be so much happier if you limited the number of people waiting inside the store and had the line to wait outside. It was that way during Covid and I think you should keep that method so people could shop easier and definitely more comfortably. read more

For context, we are Filipino (brown). We were inline getting our truffles. Nobody else behind us (me, my mom, and 2 daughters) except one lady still picking chocolates and two little white girls also picking truffles. There's an African American little girl holding a bag of jelly beans waiting patiently to pay, Two little white girls are done, Sales Associate Kim C. rudely tells girl at register and my mom and daughter to move because two little white girls are ready to pay. We tell our associate helping us that the African American girl can pay before us. Kim C. Intervenes and goes on about there's only one line. Mine you nobody else is behind us other than the lady still choosing her truffles. She makes African American little girl and her dad walk back around in line. Hands them sample chocolates. Express frustration "Ugh so confusing." Then led them back to the register... when all she had to do was ring them up OR allow our sales associate to ring up the girl so she can have her jelly beans. After they were rung up, someone came in not line that she was so adamant about and Kim C. gladly helped the lady. What that tells you? KIM C. Is racist. When you are blatantly kinder to those who aren't colored and provide them customer service but then change your demeanor to those who are, that's RACIST. I have only had excellent experiences when coming to this location. They are nostalgic for so many reasons for so many people, but the staff that works at this Galleria location is something special. The chaos of the mall regularly bombards them, yet they still manage to have great attitudes. Every time we come in here, they are clean and courteous, and that's always a win for me. Just bought the baseball chocolates on Saturday and overall they are delicious. Staff is super friendly and very helpful.

Yummy! We've been slowly using a gift card here for the past year. I came in today with my mom and it was so refreshing to feel the same customer service that I was used to. The staff was very welcoming and very patient when it was busy. This location inside the Galleria shopping mall is very convenient for shoppers. When shopping for several hours, and after having lunch, it's nice to be able to stop here and get some confections to boost the post-prandial blood sugar drop that inevitably occurs. It's busy here, but they have the foresight to run an additional register near the door in additional to the main counter. It's sort of like what some post offices do: have another station to help with the rush bottleneck that occurs when too many people visit simultaneously. My Husband, Stepdaughter and I came in around New Years to use a few of the "Free Pound" Gift Certificates that we have been hoarding over the last few years. They weren't very busy inside when we were there, but I have seen them be packed inside during the holidays! They had a lot of 50% off Christmas candy still available to purchase about a week after the holiday which I will have to keep in mind for next year! Even though we ordered three pounds of custom candy, the lady that helped us was very friendly throughout the entire transaction and patient with us as we picked out each piece. We also each received a free Peanut Butter Patty sample which was delicious! My favorite truffles here are the milk chocolate ones, but I also like the Scotchmallow Truffle which only comes in dark chocolate. Whenever I go to visit my fiance in Belarus I always get a bunch of chocolate from See's Candies for my fiance and her family and they absolutely love the chocolate. My favorites here are dark chocolate nougat, rum nougat, California dark brittle, scotchmallow, and coconut special. I like how they package the chocolate in their boxes and wrap it up with decorative paper which is perfect for a gift.
