I thought it would be necessary to explain what she was unhappy about - First, the breakdown of charges. $338 total: $255 service $45 toner $38 (10%tip and tax) Second, due to a crazy storm in DFW, my third appointment there was cancelled. (Absolutely understandable! We can't control the weather... however, Erika knew my timeline that I was moving to Illinois May 30th - this was 9 days after my original appt on the 21st. She was unable to accommodate me, so naturally, I asked for a refund to use that money towards my new appointment elsewhere. I did not get a penny back.) Based on today, Erika did not want to give me back any of the money because I publicized my honest review. I hope this helps reflect the level of management's feistiness and lack of professionalism at this salon. On the bright side... I 10/10 recommend PureSana salon in Southlake! Jennifer, the owner, is the sweetest and really cares about all the kids that come through her salon. All of her stylist are well versed on the latest trends. I saw a high school aged girl come in with her mom to ask for a "wolf cut." Off the bat, I had to google what that was but one of the stylist knew exactly what that haircut was and began advising and being honest about how high maintenance that haircut was. The girl wanted the hair cut anyways, so the stylist went at it! I have 3 little girls, so I decided to have a fun girl's day to pamper them with manicures and haircuts. One of my girls got colored hair extensions and another got glittery hair extensions. It's been probably 6 weeks already and the extensions are still going strong! We shampoo, condition, hair brush and pony tail like usual and there are no issues! Also, if you are a millennial mom, you would appreciate the music selection :) They had TLC, no scrubs, Black Eyed Peas, Fergie just to name a few tracks. Just adds to the overall fun vibe the salon has to offer on a pamper day with my girls. The salon is immaculate and they have cute hair accessories for grab on your way out.
