There were two ladies there, they looked at each other started laughing and speaking in their home language. I wanted a gel manicure, the guy filed the old gel off instead of soaking them off, which made my natural nails so paper thin that they have since been breaking. I asked for just white gel polish and it was lumpy, not cured properly, bubbly, and there was red fuzz from the towels they use imbedded in my nail. My friend and I decided to meet for pedicures and I suggested Bella Spa & Nails. This place has been open for about two years and is actually pretty nice inside. A deluxe pedicure included a scented sea salt scrub of your choice, and a hot stone massage. It was the best pedi I've ever had! They offer waxing as well as nail services. I'm desperately searching for a decent nail place in the area and I'm 0 for 3. This location was clean and the people were friendly, but when she started to remove my gel polish she filed my nails down so paper thin that they ripped before she put new polish on. When I saw what was happening I aske her to stop and just cut my nails down bc they were obviously too weak to do anything to. She said no it's fine and just glued my broken nail together. I was so upset (not to them ) and have been dreading having to remove the polish and cause even more damage. All the nails that I had asked her to cut down have since ripped within a week and now no more polish for months to try to regrow them. read more

I went in for sharp pointed nails i got lumpy nails and extremely thin nails each finger was different when one broke after only having them a day (btw i do desk work for a living )and the lady that (fixed) just added more acrylic instead of taking the cracked nail off... i wanted my thumb longer so she just built on to that but now i have build up under the nail... basically if u want square dip or regular French nails this is the place if ur looking for anything different this place sucks read more

I originally gave this salon a 5 star rating because I had been a loyal customer for two years but, needless to say, I am not a customer anymore and I recommend people to not go there. At first, everything was great and then, the quality of work went from great to ok to awful! I am picky but that's because I pay for quality work. I always took very good care of Mindy and it came to a point where my business was unappreciated. I could ramble about all the little things that added up to me moving on to a new salon but we'd be here for a while so I'll just touch upon a few ..... 1. When Mindy filled my nails, she didn't even come close to my cuticle. My brand new fill looked like they were a week old. 2. The acrylic smudge and when I pointed it out to Mindy she acted inconvenienced, filed that part down and then globes some product on and called it a day. 3. This is from a friend: someone I referred to Mindy before all of this happened, finally went and tried her out. She wanted something out of the ordinary on her nails and Mindy kept telling her it "wasn't normal" and tried to convince her multiple times to change her mind from what she wanted. Really? That's just ridiculous. All in all, I'm very happy with my new salon and my nails look even better now! read more

I guess it depends who you get, but I will refuse to let the young guy touch me again, if I ever go back. He was so busy talking to the worker two places down, he scrubbed the same spot on my foot until it bled. I said "ouch" and pulled my foot away but he didn't even notice and tried to keep scrubbing. When he got to the massage part he didn't know what he was doing, unless 'massage' now includes slapping legs and squeezing my knees (the bones) until I tell him to stop because it hurts. We walked in Wednesday night at 6pm with a reservation. Lady that greeted us was very nice. We were told to go to chairs 9&10. An older lady(or just a bad dye job, yes I'm being catty) started filling our bowls up for my mom and myself's pedicure. We looked at the pedi books and it states they have red, and white wine. I asked older lady for a glass of wine. She walked off. Didn't even acknowledge me. Came back and slammed down a glass of red the walked off again. When I finally got her attention again I asked for a glass of white and told her she could have the red back. She looked at me like I just asked for her first born then walked off in another huff. When she came back with the white wine it was room temp with an ice cube in it and she slammed that one down too. Then, she does my moms toes and I get a lady that speaks absolutely no English. She was the nicest out of everyone. An older gentleman came over to do my mani while I was still getting my toes done. My mom, who never speaks ill of anyone, told me later that she was glad he worked on my nails instead of hers. He was crass, and abrasive. When I was walking up to pay I glanced at my toes and noticed a jewel was already missing. Told the lady and she replaced it. Unfortunately, I had to tell her to put a top coat on it so it would stay. That's her job! She should know that, and the 2 other older dude people hovering should have said something. Even worse, 2 days after the jewel on my right toe is gone and my gel manicure chipped. A lot. For $120 that was not worth it. Thought about going back to get it fixed, but I honestly don't want to deal with those people ever again in my life. Pros: -wonderful and multiple pedicure options. I went for the Milk & Honey treatment, which smelled incredible. -complimentary wine and soda -friendly and attentive staff -They do a wonderful job of exfoliating the feet and removing excess skin. The man doing my pedicure forced his fingers though my toes and ripped the skin open between each toe. I called and let them know what happened and the "manager" told me that from the pictures she saw that it was only from normal toe rubbing and that they were not from my pedicure. I have hardly been able to walk today my toes hurt so bad and she refused to give me my money back. She told me I was lying about it hurting and that her employee would not have done that. I have been to this nail salon twice now and will never step foot back there again! I was taking someone for their Birthday to get a mani/pedi. We sat for an hour with our feet in the water waiting to be seen. If we had been told the truth that it was going to be an hour wait not 5 min we would of come back an hour later. Instead our feet turned into prunes. I was also told that they would be able to do a gel color change at the same time as my pedi. Someone came over and started the process of putting the foil on my nails. Problem is they let it sit on my fingers for 45 min until I finally pulled the rest off that hadn't already fallen off,. I brought it to the attention of several employees. We were told it wouldn't be much longer...for an hour. It's unfortunate because I just moved around the corner. read more

Terrible job every time I come here. The first time I got a full set and a black mold grew on them. Granted they did redo them for free which is why I am giving them two stars. The most recent time I went there I got the solar nails and paid 35$ which is a very good price! However I have thick nails and have never had a problem before but this lady filed my nails paper thin. They were so thin that when I left through the night my nails were in pain until the next day. Not only that but the woman stayed on her phone the whole time speaking in a foreign language and immediately when I was done she sat someone new in her chair after telling me to wash my hands. The next day I noticed that there was severe lifting and cracks but by this time I was too done. I will not ever be returning here and recommend everyone do the same, Venue Nails is right down the corner and in every way better they were so sweet to everyone and make you feel at home. The entire time, the people doing our nails were talking and several times they stopped working so they could talk to each other's faces. Are you serious? The person doing my mothers nails gave her an arm massage, I on the other hand, didn't get one but my nails were painted unevenly in color. She also didn't go to the skin so the manicure looked a week old already. She also kept wiping the polish off my skin with her nail and several times she accidentally hit my wet nail so I have two nails with smudges. My mother said her polish didn't look very nice either. Would not recommend this place and I am definitely not coming back. We paid $30 each and I can find way nicer places with better manicures. read more

I had a horrible experience here. My sister decided to take me to get our nails done as a gift. She ended up paying 40$ per full set of dips. 40 for her and 40 for me. So she paid. It declined on their machine but went through on her bank statement. THEN after we paid**** she said she forgot the student discount so she "refunded" the 105$ which how it became 105$? I'm not sure of. So after the discount, the amount owed was 85$ so she swiped her card again. And the same exact thing happened. We showed them that it went through BOTH TIMES but they wouldn't let us leave. So I had to pay, cash. 85$. Then they asked for a tip!!!! Are you kidding me???!!! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I guess it really does depend on who you get, but the last time I went the young guy did an absolutely terrible job. I paid and immediately went home and removed his work with acetone. Fabulous experience each time I have gone. My only recommendation is to make sure you don't get the cranky woman at the end of the table closest to the nail dryer.
